I figured that when you both hear different things but from the same thing like the mimics it means they won’t show up but if you both hear the same thing then it shows up. Hope this helps

Think about it, dark has way more experience with herobrine than rage, herobrine knows that dark remembers him, and therefore is now waiting for dark to tell rage so rage can also see him and fear him like dark
