Hi James, long time fan and subscriber here. I'm interested in covering local mma events in Las Vegas, and conducting fighter interviews at gyms in the area like Xtreme Couture. Since I'm a freelancer just starting out, how do I go about getting the necessary credentials to gain access to the media events? Thanks in advance, and much respect to you.

Get a hold of Eric Nicksick on twitter or Instagram, he's one of the head coaches at Xtreme and someone I've corresponded with when I went and did fighter interviews at that gym. In terms of credentials, almost every local promotion has a Facebook page. Shoot them a message on their Facebook page and ask who the PR person is. I'm sure they'd love to give you credentials. Any other questions let me know.
