- From episode twenty-eight of The Beatles Cartoon series which ran from 1965-1969.
Episode Summary: The Beatles are visiting Paris, when Paul and Ringo spot a beautiful woman. They follow her to a fashion show, where a thief has stolen directions for the show. Paul and Ringo chase after him and end up at the Eiffel Tower.

I love the way that Ringo drums during the song!
That was amazing. I even liked the ending where Paul got the girl. Come to think of it, the Beatles always found different ways to "Get The Girl" every time in the cartoon.

Wow, that brings back memories! I remember these cartoons as a kid and I have always loved The Beatles. In the late 1980's I taped every one of them off MTV, too bad they are all on beta.

On this day in 1965 {September 13th} the Beatles won two Grammy Awards {for 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Performance by a Vocal Group' for "Help!"}; it was their first Grammy Awards...
At the time they won the award for "Help!" it was on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart, in fact it was in its 2nd week at being #1 on the Top 100, and altogether it was #1 for 3 weeks...
Overall they received 25 Grammy nominations and won a total of eight gilded Gramophone trophies ...

Actually it was like '65 or '66, that these cartoons came out (not the late 60's). Thanks for the memories.

I just got ron campbell who directed the series. He also did some animation on the Beatles Yellow Submarine along with working on Scooby Doo etc. It was a weak show but it was cool seeing Ron Campbell doing drawing of this show etc. The show was worth it for that. It was free so that was a plus.

The French guy's face accent reminded me so much of "Ah Ahmm ze ambassadorrr!"

...the version of "HELP!" used is the album track, in mono... the "HELP!" single, in mono has slightly different words and phrasing by John.
