    How do I secure the magic circle in the end? I did my first one and loved it but because I gut the yarn that started my magic circle and my whole work was destroyed :(

    • @SweetSofties
      @SweetSofties  4 года назад +3

      Oh no, sorry to hear that! Instead of cutting the yarn that started your magic circle (which will unravel your work), weave the end into your work. You can do that by using a yarn needle or small crochet hook and pulling the yarn tail through some stitches to hide it.

    • @sandrabeck4166
      @sandrabeck4166 2 года назад

      You can also use a small amount of waterproof fabric glue after weaving in. Use oi in the end.

    How can I turn this into a granny square?

    • @SweetSofties
      @SweetSofties  3 года назад +3

      Good question....I don't know yet! I haven't tried making it into a granny square but once I figure it out, I'll update this video description adn let you know!

  • @vnohandle

    Now what if you want to make this but bigger?

    • @SweetSofties
      @SweetSofties  3 года назад +1

      To make this exact pattern bigger, you can use bulkier yarn and a larger hook. Hope this helps! :)

    • @vnohandle
      @vnohandle 3 года назад +1

      @@SweetSofties for sure. I thought the exact same thing. Just thought a border would work/ help but I'm going to go with the larger hook and the thicker yarn.

  • @maryjureitta
    @maryjureitta 2 года назад

    is there anyway to make them bigger?

    • @SweetSofties
      @SweetSofties  2 года назад

      You can use a thicker yarn and larger hook! :) At this time, I don't have a larger pattern for these, though.

    I love the design but as a beginner i kind of find it hard to follow because you are doing it too fast for me... great work though

    • @SweetSofties
      @SweetSofties  4 года назад +2

      I'm so sorry about that! Would it help to slow down the speed of this video? There's a "settings" button (gear icon) on the bottom right of the video when you hover your cursor over it. You can select the "playback speed" to be slower, such as 0.75 or 0.5. Hopefully that can help!!

    I disliked because you were going too fast, and there’s too much faffing about, sorry.

    • @SweetSofties
      @SweetSofties  4 года назад +1

      I'm very sorry. :( If you would like it slowed down, there is an option to click on the "settings" (gear icon) on the bottom right of the video and select a slower speed. As for the faffing about, I'm sorry -- I didn't know I wasn't being direct and to the point with the pattern. Apologies, I will try my best to improve in my next videos.

      @@SweetSofties I personally think you were going at a good speed ^^ I don't mean to go against this person, it's just that not everyone feels the same, so the effort you put into the pattern and your video is definitely appreciated! I understand that for some beginners it's frustrating when a video moves fast (and I mean this with no judgement, "beginner" isn't a bad word at all!), but what you used were a lot of standard stitches, and there's already a million videos explaining how to make those, so there wouldn't be a problem with learning them; of course you'd need to go a bit fast to be able to cover the entire pattern in one video, but you also took the time to slow it down in some complicated parts - it was very considerate! I didn't really notice any "faffing about" either - just important or thoughtful explanations. Thank you again for the video! ^^
