Loved this video! Honestly, sometimes I prefer seeing the quietness of life and the work. Sure, it's nice to see the scenery and fun things, but life isn't always about that, and I appreciated that you showed us that. Thank you!

Ha, thanks Gina! Some days I feel organized and on top of things, other days . . . not so much!

I am the same way with fitting work in around motherhood and homeschooling. There have been seasons I went out to work at cafes and the library and other seasons I set pockets of time at home. The best for me is to have uninterrupted time, of course, but I work with what's available, and sometimes it means just working alongside interruptions.
I am glad I am not the only one who doesn't get up at 5am to get work done as a homeschooling mom. 😉 I can't do that, and stay rested and grounded. ( We have been homeschooling for over 9 years, and have three sons.)
ps, I'm also in Canada, homeschooling in BC. 😊 And, I have really been appreciating your RUclips content on all your channels.

Yay, I always enjoying "meeting" fellow Canadians! (Bonus points for being a homeschooler as well!) You are so right, sometimes it means just working alongside the interruptions, I'm so in that stage/phase right now.

@@ChantelKlassen Yes, I do most my work alongside interruptions at this stage too. 🙂🙌

I found it almost impossible to get work done when my kids were home and we were homeschooling. Now that they are off to high school it is easier to get my writing done, but sometimes I go to the library or coffee shop because the distractions of house projects and food in the kitchen get to be too much! I'm impressed by your ability to get so much done!

The distractions of house projects are real, I can relate!

I would love to find a way to add in a side hustle. The challenge is juggling it with homeschool and all the regular household stuff. I know I can find pockets of time, but I feel like I could get more done if I had a dedicated block of focused time. I guess you take what you can get sometimes and make the best of it. Thanks for the inspiration during this season of life!

I don’t know how you manage multiple channels and so many videos a week 😮

My hardest challenge is not having a space I can go to that's distraction free. My house is small and there's no space that's calm. I'd love to build a she shed in the yard to have a quiet space if my own😊

A friend of mine starts her day at 5am and works until 9 am. Does schooling with her kids and morning routine from 9-12. Then she gets a few more hours 1-5. She has found it really great having the quite time from 5-9

Yes, I like a lot about the early morning rhythm, unfortunately it's usually too dark here during those hours to do any filming. Next week we'll be back into our school rhythm, during those times I usually have a longer stretch in the afternoon because we spend all morning doing school.

Finding time to film without my kids being loud has been a struggle for me, especially as I'm new to making videos.

It can be really hard to find that time at the beginning! For vlog clips I generally wait until kids are entertained and then do those. For the longer videos I did it when littles were napping and the bigs were having quiet time, now they've gotten used to me filming and generally just okay (relatively) quietly. But I also film in my room with the door closed so I can block out some of the noise. 🤷‍♀️
