Hello! This is Mike from Japan. I'm a single 34 year old actor. Although I was born and raised in Japan, I was educated in English through and through, and therefore, I'm a bilingual Japanese actor.
I loved this vlog , your cats are so cute !!
Honestly I don't really mind if your house is messy, it looks nice !
Thank you! I don't want to show the messy part😅
Wow you have so many cats. Wish I could have a pet but I get very scared around animals and freeze up since my mother never let me have any pets in our house and I never interacted with them so I get very nervous around them 😅
Anyways hope you’re doing well Mike and looking forward to your another video.
Thank you😊 I have three cats at home and the rest are the stray cats outside. I see, cats are very gentle and mellow so there's no need to be scared😃 I'm sure you would be fine once you get used to them😊 I hope everything is going well for you too👍
Nice video, I love Japan....Stopped twice for a couple of days in Tokyo and loved it...But next time I need to venture also somewhere else..there is so much to see in Japan! Take care...Greetings from California.
Thank you! 😃👍
Hello Mike! good luck on your channel :)
Thank you! 😃👍
I was just in Tokyo! Love Japan! The food, culture, and people are amazing! You ever travel outside Japan?
Thank you! Yes, I've been to many places around the world and lived in Canada for four years during my university years!
Your cats are so cute! What are their names? 😊
Thank you! The tri color cat is Sharu, the small tan guy is Gon, and the big orange cat is Mugi! 😊🐈
Love how chill you are.
Also how did you get the name Mike? Are you half japanese?
Also big W for not smoking or drinking because that is VERY RARE. I am currently in high school and basically my whole school does both and I am the only one doing neither and because of that I got no high school friends but I'm living just fine
Thank you! I was educated in English all my life and it is hard for foreigners to pronounce my real name, and therefore my parents gave me my nickname, Mike! 😃 I'm half Chinese and half Japanese!
@@thatidk I see, that's good. Yeah most of my friends from high school and university used to do both too. Drinking with friends is alright once in a while but I don't recommend smoking. You have me as a friend right here! 😃

University of Victoria, B.C.😃

Thank you for your kind and encouraging comment😊 I loved Victoria😃 Never been to the east side of Canada though🤔 I really miss Tim Horton's, I dream about it every now and then😂 I hope everything is going well for you too😊👍

Thank you! 😊👍
Mmmmm bbq cheetos 🤤🤤🤤
Smoking used to be 18 here in usa until a few years ago they changed it to 21. Voting is still 18 and drinking is still 21. Weird how you can vote and go into military at 18 but cant buy a smoke or beer
Didn't know that! I thought everything was from 21 in the U.S. 😳
Japan government doesn't sound much different from the U.S. , our elected officials only do things that benefit them also , isn't Japan socialist ? It's odd to me that it sounds so much like our U.S. Democracy .
Japan is somewhere in between socialist and democracy. We have a good healthcare system but things are getting sour every year and our pensions are diminishing. Life is getting harder for the younger generations. Japan is not a pure democracy either because we cannot elect our prime minister (like the president in the U.S.)

How does the prime minister get elected
Japanese citizens can only vote for a party that the candidates belong to, not the individual candidates. When a dominant party is chosen, the politicians choose the prime minister amongst themselves, which usually ends up with a prime minister through their own family connections. I'm not an expert in politics and may be wrong in some of the details, but basically it's what I mentioned above. That's why so many people here feel it's useless to vote at all since it's so hard to make a change. The current dominant party has stayed in power for decades now since the elderly, which accounts for a third of our whole population keeps voting for them, and the younger generations either just gave up on voting, or unaware of what's going on.
