    Before listening, Imma say this bus driver is somebody with a very unhealthy obsession with either OP or someone else who OP _looks_ like.

      After listening to the title story, I'm proven right, surprisingly enough. I kinda figured that OP had a relatively common styling, seeing as how her hair was purple and she said that was common in a college, but I didn't expect the other girl to have a completely different body, hairstyle, hair shade, and glasses color. I mean, come on, how can you mistake someone with sizable curves as someone who barely even _has_ curves just because she has a similar hair color and glasses? Even _I_ know when I've made a mistake, and usually apologize pretty quickly when I realize I have. This bus driver? Blind as a bat in an echo-free environment.

      @@Game_Blox9999 - He's a sexual harassment lawsuit waiting to happen on the bus company, especially if they do what the Catholic church used to do with their Priests, and if you dont know what I mean, it means shuffling them to a place they arent known and hoping hte problem goes away. All it takes is one person then to sue and it would be found out they tried to mitigate by not firing the guy and instead just moved him away from that area, OP then end would be contacted as a witness against the driver

    Why does this bus driver even care where she gets off? She can literally choose to get off at ANY stop she wants for ANY reason. What a weirdo.

      Ditto, infact have done it within one of company's sites that I didnt work at. Customer in question came up and started demanding I open a second console to serve the line of people. Well for one, I couldnt have done so, even if I HAD been in uniform since it was NOT my store and I couldnt have logged into the POS in order to do so. And secondly, this guy was a douche even when he did come through my store. This guy infact was a taxi driver with an attitude that everyone should serve him. Yep, and entitled Richard. Of course he didnt like it when I told him that I couldnt do that since I didnt work here and wasnt on the clock anyway if I did and he got all uppity until I told him, quite loudly, to leave me alone. Few other customers were also getting annoyed with him. The manager at that point had come out of the office, not because I was talking loudly, but because he was wondering why there was a line, saw me, then laser focused on Richard and quite loudly asked him if he had any fuel after noting his taxi was parked in a parking bay, when he told him he didnt he just said "So, after your smokes(tobacco for you yanks), sorry, not serving you and you are barred from this site and I will be informing corporate." Of course he went to argue and the manager just pointed to the door and said "Out." He left, and of course he complained to head office naming only me in his complaint and tried to say it happened at my work site and not the other site, however true to his word the manager had filed his own along with my statement which I wrote at the site and he signed on so it didnt work out well for the taxi driver. The company also filed those same incident forms, along with his fraudulent complaint, with his taxi company and state compliance. Head office also banned him from that site and mine permanently. And, I never saw him again after that, and from what I heard from a few other taxi drivers I was friends with that worked within the same company as him he actually got fired by the owner of the taxi, but not sure if he lost his medallion.

    I'm always polite when I need help in the store. People are sometimes working in the isles with merchandise but are vendors who only stock and rotate their own products at each place on their routes.

    Story 4 - The moment anyone says to me that they see me within a store all the time I turn around and go "Good, that means we both shop here on the same days and time. So tell me, does that mean we both work here?" and if they then persist that I work there I then would go "Get me your manager." and if they then turn around and go "I dont work here..." I would then say... "Neither do I. NOW LEAVE ME THE F ALONE BEFORE SOMETHING HAPPENS THAT INVOLVES POLICE AND AN AMBULANCE!!!" Then I would walk away because at that point my shouting would definitely leave them stunned, I'm not a soft shouter, and it definitely would bring someone running. More so after that if she tries and grab me then she would then find out why the police and an ambulance would be needed and with me having shouted I would also then have witnesses that I was defending myself when she ends up being within a vice grip on said wrist of said offending hand that grabbed me.

    The whole unloading story, telling someone that, 'You need to come here' is seen as rude, telling the owner that 'Some c**t wants to drop off a delivery' would sum up with what is going on.

    Story 3:
    Oh drop the guy off, then go park as usual. Then see what your unruly passenger who thinks you're a public shuttle does. I'm sure you'd have couple more "I'm not a public transit vehicle" conversations, but she might eventually figure it out when you don't go anywhere for half an hour.
    (And if that doesn't work, take her back to the care facility and call "last stop, end of the line" and escort her inside to management).

    Story 1: OP was way more willing to take abuse than she should have. Upon the second confrontation yell out "One more time and there will be police involved & several lawyers!"
    Story 4: When you have an older Karen like this one just respond with "Are you having a senior moment? Do you need mental health assistance for your Alzheimer's?"

    Regarding the third story, I have been a bus driver for the last five years and am still surprised at the stupidity of people. There are the ones that get into the bus, tag on (we use a payment card system) and then, once the bus is moving, ask "Are you going to XXX?". Then there are the ones that will, as you arrive at your destination, attempt to get on after existing passengers have got off, even though the destination sign says the location they are at. There are also the ones that will signal a bus at a stop, even though the bus is not showing a route number or destination, saying instead that it isn't in service. And let's not forget those that will ask "Are you going to YYY" when it quite clearly states that IS the destination in bright LEDs in the destination sign area at the front of the bus, clearly visible as it approached them.

  • @Ryanthusar
    @Ryanthusar Месяц назад +1

    Story 1 - The police should have been called by OP on that bus driver because what they were doing was both sexual harassment and stalking. Before anyone says it isnt then I will c/p from the module I just had to go through for a new job.
    "Sexual harassment is unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature which makes a person feel uncomfortable, offended, humiliated, or intimidated, where that reaction is reasonable under the circumstances."
    Any untoward comments and such which that bus driver was doing falls within that realm of harassment. The fact he was chasing after others thinking they were OP to try and go out with them falls within the realm of sexual harassment. Yes, that means if you ask someone if they want to go on a date then it can fall within the "Unwanted requests to go on a date" which can make it a sexual harassment issue, specially if its a co-worker and if they complain to HR, even if it was just one time, so becareful there.

    10:10 that driver legally couldnt operate the forklift. might not be the first time that location had an unlicensed driver on the forklift but if something happens then hell can be unleashed on the businesses involved.

    I have been in two different stores, where someone thought that I was an employee. First person was kind, and apologized for mistaking me as an employee. Second person thought that I was the employee at the second store, even though I wore nothing like the employees. I was working on printing out pictures of my kid, and the woman asked me for help in electronics. I told her that I didn't work there, and went back to what I was doing. I heard her stomping away, grumbling loudly about me not helping her with her problem. I finished what I was doing, and quickly went up to check out and left. It was crazy.

    3rd story: Karen was either very, very stupid or very, very nuts. How was she going to pay for her bus ride? I would think that the lack of something to put money into was an indication that it wasn't a bus.

  • @Queen3210
    @Queen3210 Месяц назад

    Final Story: Interesting that she continued to glare even after being told that OP doesn't work here. I imagine the glare represented the thought of "How dare you not work here so I could get you in trouble for not helping me" or something. Either way, it just screams of entitlement.

    Purple hair story: I wouldn't be surprised if the driver came to the store, after he was either transferred to another route or fired, and made a scene there about it. But yeah, he had no business trying to make advances while on duty in the bus or making advances on the other girl while she was working.
    Delivery story: I can understand the driver's confusion. Still, he was being an @$$ and not listening to what OP way trying to tell him.
    Rob, the driver could have been telling the truth about not being licensed for the forklift and there may not have been manual pallet jacks laying about that he could have used.
    Private transport story: OP, I would suggest VERY HARD to the bosses to get some signage on the van that it's for private transport only, not for public use. Don't know if it would work with someone like that, but it might help.
    IDWHL story: I really don't understand these people who INSIST someone does work someplace when they don't. They would get in actual trouble if that were the case. And in many cases, if you do work there but you're on break you're NOT ALLOWED to help as it could/would be a violation of store policy and/or labor laws. Good grief people, get over yourselves!

    Last story. Why do they always thing the person is lying? I mean I’ve heard plenty of them where when even the manager confirms no employment and the Karen then accuses the manager of lying and covering for the “lazy employee”?
    Someone THAT stupid. How did they make it as far as they did?

  • @bluestar09

    Story 3: Large (at least 2 inch) vinyl letters say NOT FOR HIRE and/or NOT FOR PUBLIC USE. And definitely PRIVATE TRANSPORT. Hopefully they will understand it.

    Lol with the last story, oh boy... I would be escorted out of the store, cos most likely I'd be getting beelined by a karen after helping somebody find something cos it would be the store I do shopping at, and my response would, upon being treated as lesser, be immediately "I don't work here. If you think I'm an employee here then you're more blind than a deaf bat." And if the reply is "Of course you're an employee! I saw you help that other person!", I'd respond with "Yeah, it's called being a decent fucking person, Karen. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have my own shopping to finish. If you need help, either look for somebody stocking the aisles, or ask at the service desk." And of course the karen would then scurry off to find a manager and get me reprimanded or fired, and when she once again is adamant about my employment, I'd probably end up saying something that would have the manager say "I'm sorry sir, but i'm going to have to ask you to leave the store."

    Bus Story: If I was OP, I'd have simply snarled at Karen "GET OUT BEFORE I HAVE YOU ARRESTED!!!" while pulling out my phone and dialing 911...if she's not off the van in 10 seconds, I'd press SEND and tell the Operator that I need an Officer to Arrest this idiot twit!

    2nd story: You can put as many sign you can or want, 85% of people will not read them, especially the dumb one like this Karen...

  • @j.tann1970
    @j.tann1970 Месяц назад

    After the last story you said the Karen claimed the OP worked at the store because she'd seen her there regularly and then you berated her for not knowing where stuff is as she must go there regularly herself to see the OP there. HOWEVER, that's not what happened in the story! The Karen said the OP must work there because of how they were walking around the store and must be on a break. Just as bad but how you got to your conclusion just tells me you've been reading too many of these that do make that claim so thought this one did too.
    In short, if you are going to make comments on the stories, pay more attention to them 😉

    Good Morning...I have been subscribed to your channel for a couple (maybe three) years. I listen to all of your videos and have even gone back and listened to the videos you published prior to me finding your channel.
    I used to like your videos a lot more than I do now. As you have gained subscribers and confidence, you have gotten (what I consider to be) a kind of 'Know-It-All' attitude and have developed a habit of criticizing OPs on a regular basis. You very frequently tell OP that you would have done something differently; that you would have done it better; and that you have worked at the same job they have and you give the impression that you think you were employee of the millennium for every job you have had.
    I think your ego has grown faster than your channel and I often find myself rolling my eyes at the things you say, because you exaggerate and belittle more than the OPs you are insulting. I keep thinking I should unsubscribe, but (although I am sure you will ignore this comment (and it won't do any good)), I decided to give my opinion, before unsubscribing, in the hopes you do a little more narrating a lot less commentating on what OP should have done differently.
    You have the advantage of reading the comments, thinking about what to say, then analyzing your commentary, before creating your videos. OPs are in a typically once-in-a-lifetime situation without the advantage of time to think and analyze prior to reacting. Give them a break...they don't get rehearsals the way you do.
    Additionally...without OPs, you wouldn't have a channel and a way to promote your silly 3D printing projects that serve zero purpose.
    If you read this...thanks and have a great day.

      I appreciate your comments and I understand that sometimes people fall out of love with a RUclips channel. That's completely OK. Content changes over time. Creators change over time and views / opinions on the world change over time. Fortunately, there's hundreds of channels doing Reddit content on a daily basis and I truly hope you find one that you enjoy. I recommend DarkFluff and Mark Narrations. They're both ones I listen to myself and you might enjoy them.
      It's also OK if you don't understand the purpose of my 3D Printing shop. I started it as a way to provide Chameleon merchandise to my Subscribers and I've sold almost 600 of the little 3D Printed chameleons at this point. A lot of those sales included added on dragons, keychains and other things. That shop makes a tidy profit every month and I'm proud of my progress there. But again, if it's not for you, then it's not for you.
      I truly hope you find a channel you can listen to that will suit you. Thanks for your time here and all the best!
