I'm SO GLAD you mentioned that you can bait the phases of the shadow cleaves. When everyone is stacked it makes it so much more consistent and you don't have to adjust to odd angles. Thank you for including that bit of info, hoping PF catches on.
Always love your guides, from the music to the visuals to the conciseness of the information being presented as well as no commentary! As someone who prefers reading versus listening and waiting for a voice to say the information I need but also is a visual learner your guides are simply perfection!
These guides always come out after I've cleared (understandably so because of all the editing I'm sure it takes) but I always end up watching them just because they're so well put together
Honestly, thank you for making these so clear to follow along with! Going to be trying to clear this at least once starting today and this is exactly what I needed!
Gale2 is the big one as far as wipes go,so here's a suggestion for practice parties.Gale1 is the exact same just without needing to position for stacks or inumeration so what we did is pretend gale1 has them and just wipe afterwards if even 1 person got a vuln up.
great clear guide! this'll come in handy once i try to farm this at higher ilvl 😆 btw is there a reason you didn't enable the job icons/colors? i found it super helpful when so much stuff goes on at once to find my stack partners and stuff.
Much better explained and better strats for PF than the other guy that releases guides before even clearing the fights, and then hides his fflogs to hide any criticism.
The king returns and PF warriors rejoice! Is there any advantage to W/E stardust instead of N/S though? I see people in the comments cheering, but it's barely a difference so I'm confused
there's really no diff or a problem the thing about West/East is that many mechs in Golbez EX resemble other mechs from other fights (Memoria EX/SOS EX) that are handled in the same positions and the previous Abyssos tier had many priorities that involved W/E (P5s, P8s), so to me it just makes natural sense to do the same instead of changing it up arbitrarily, whether it works or not. Hope that answers your question.
Oh no chaos does stardust north south and joon just made a guide showing east west .Theres gonna be so much wiping due to different muscle memories now.
@@mustbepbs There's no need to change your mind. If N/S is what you prefer then have at it. I've done both, and each one is a viable strat. It's just a matter of preference.
Man i wish your guide could come out faster thats my only complaint. Coz it is always better than hector’s. He always does weird things that make pf suffers..
I think it's because Joonbob releases them so late that they are better as by then more optimal strats have come out. It wouldn't work if he made them as quickly as Hector. Hector is great in that he at least gives PF some consistency by day two. Also to Hector's credit he frequently does small update videos for alternative strats as he's made aware of them.
@@ameliakusinska5900 I killed Golbez with E/W for exaflares and true north for gale spheres as well albeit on Wednesday. On Light, I found that most groups by Thursday were openly referring to the fact that they were using Hector strats in their PF description. In particular practice groups did this. To me that sounds like setting a consistent expectation for what strats to use. As for P8S, I'm not fully aware of the issues with that as it passed me by. I used his P5-P7S guides and their follow-up videos without any issues however. Even his P8S P1 guide was useful, so I assume it was a problem with P2? By the time I did that I mostly referred to Joonbob's guide so I never noticed the problem. At the end of the day though, no guide maker is perfect. Joonbob's are pretty good but by the time they come out you've probably cleared making them a bit redundant. Hector's have flaws but they come out early enough that people have something to go on - bearing in mind that most players, PF or static, don't play blind. I find both creators to be superior to the type of guide that was most common before, where you exclusively got some PoV footage that did a poor job of explaining and showing what was going on. I think this is why they both have grown in popularity, as the graphics help immensely in explaining what's going on.
How can they? They lay out pictures, diagrams, all while explaining mechanics in probably the most concise way I've seen. It'd be kinda hard to improve on it further than this.

Sick skills with the visual guide. This is art 😊.
Always a fan of your guides, not just because of your incredible editing skills, but also because of your choice of music!
Etrian Odyssey music for your soul
Glad to see you making raid guides again. Your Eden guides helped me a lot when I was still starting to learn end game raiding.
I like that with each thumbnail, Golbez is getting closer to us.
Honestly, thank you for making these so clear to follow along with!
Going to be trying to clear this at least once starting today and this is exactly what I needed!

Really bad explanations, especially for a pickup guide. He makes Mizzteq look good by comparison.
G1 WEST G2 EAST VALIDATION THANK YOU KING
Is that more Etrian Odyssey I hear? Super Arrange is 10/10, I'm excited for the Origins Collections

gamers will adjust no prob
it's really not that big of a deal
@@rithli if it's not that big of a deal you should have done N/S. E/W sucks, change my mind.
@@mustbepbs Sounds to me like someone cant do strats aka you.

Hell yeah bruh
I don't why pf still wants N/S instead of W/E
9:03 😆
Half as long as Hector's, a million times better
joonbob supremacy
No need to tear someone down to prop up another. Not cool.

Ayo
buh
Imagine needing over a minute to explain Gale 2. It's literally just Gale 1 with partner/group stacks. It's not that complicated. 🤣
At least it’s not as bad as Hector. Man takes 10 minutes to explain one mechanic
Great job on the guide again!
I'm so sad PF picked up TN though. :(
ty
TN > Boss Relative
make better guides old man
Literally the only negative comment sounds like a brain and or mental health issue to me bruh get it together
