- The Warning in concert at Bogarts in Cincinnati Ohio. August 15. 2023. The opening act, Muted Choir didn't perform. This was our 4th time seeing The Warning and first time I did the meet and greet. Ale was not at the meet and greet. We were chatting with other TWA members outside the venue after the show when Rudy came outside. He said Ale just felt like resting before the show. He also said the new album is coming along and they will be in the studio after this current string of shows.
At the meet and greet, I gave Dany and Pau one piece of paper. The first page was my suggestion they create a short video educating their fans how they can best support them. Rudy, after the said it was likely they would create such a video. I, along with others can ask reactors to show that video as part of their reaction.
I had a great chat with Robert and Jim, a couple top tier patreons while we waited for the meet and greet. Doug, who we met in New Orleans, came over to chat. He suggested The Warning have a show, in the future, just for their patreons. I wish him well with that great idea.
We got to meet my good friend and fellow regular on Tee Spicers livestreams, Ed and his girlfriend, Rose, who flew up from Texas.
As some people know, I am a moderator for Tee Spicer, as well as a few other RUclips channels. Tee recently had a heart attack but is recovering nicely. Please take a minute to wish her well on any of her recent videos. Tee had gone nearly 3 years with a stream dedicated to The Warning, either on RUclips or Twitch, EVERY Saturday until her heart attack. We know Tee will begin a new streak soon. She LOVES The Warning as we all do.

This was the first time was able to see these incredible ladies in person. It was a great show.
They seemed to love this crowd.

They get more seriously pro with every show. So dialed in. I've always loved how Dany and Ale back off the mics when Pau is singing solo to make it clear who's singing. Absolutely zero ego in this band but tons of attitude. I fucking ❤ it.

Drove down from Columbus to Cincy to experience my first show with The Warning. Needless to say, they did not disappoint. Dany was back in full voice. Ale and Pau shared smiles during their onstage communications. The three did what they do best, rock the house. Thanks for providing a video so that I can relive the night over and over.
I too drove down from Columbus for my first show. It was fantastic.
This was my fifth Warning show. I have been waiting many years for them to come here to Cincy where I live. I am so happy and satisfied about how it went.
Thank you Andy! I have only recently discovered The Warning because of a YT recommendation. I am liking them more and more. Their stage presence is truly awesome. What a great show this was. I am no longer in Cinci, but I grew up there. In my teens and twenties (from 1978 or so) Bogart's was one of my homes away from home. I am happy to see Bogart's is still alive and well, and hosting great bands like The Warning.
Since there was a question about Dany's guitar on Disciple, and it looked like another short set list, I compiled it. No time chops, but I noted which guitar she was using (red PRS except as noted):
- Disciple (Manson)
- Z
- Animosity
- Choke
- D2D
- Dull Knives (Manson)
- KAK
- More (blue PRS)
- $
- Survive
- Enter Sandman (Explorer)
- Error
- Narcisista
- Martirio
- Evolve
So that's 15 songs, and it looks like she was experimenting with the Manson on Disciple in addition to Dull Knives, and playing the red PRS on Choke (in Boston IIRC she played the blue PRS). They dropped Amour and QoTMS. They have a punishing schedule on this segment; fortunately they have another rest day on Friday, and Chicago isn't a long drive from Indy, a straight shot up I-65. After that, it's 3 weeks until they open for GnR and then another 3 weeks until their Latin America tour, which mostly looks pretty well spread out.
The Explorer is a big guitar, rather heavier than the PRS and the Manson. Dany is a lot smaller than either James Hetfield or Lzzy Hale.

I saw them in Vegas last year. They “ended” their set with Evolve, them came out for an encore with Martirio. That was the way to do it! The audience went nuts! And Martirio is such a stirring song. Great for a final closer! 👍🤩😍

I do so wish they had done a show in Northern Ohio I would have been there.Glad you finally got to talk with at least Pau and Dany,hopefully Ale wasnt too tired by the end of the show.And now hope whatever Dany had first and than Ale came down with it hopefully it doesnt get passed to Pau.
Meeting these amazing young women last year before even seeing them perform was even better than any other show I had ever been to and that would be a lot of over the years.Thanks again for the post of the show.

Thanks Andy!! Amazing hiw much you can tell by body language. I noticed they didnt do the syncronized head movements in a song and Ale didnt cross the stage when Dany moved stage right. Also when they took the picture none of the two sisters helped Dany get up, I hope things are ok. Im sure they are tired and I know touring is stressful. Keep going girls you rock and are representing thousands of little girls future rock stars. Viva The Warning!!!!
I also notice Ale letting Dany have the stage for her solos instead of switching sides. Mainly because the stage is small. Or Ale feels Pau is lonely in the rear all by herself. Wants to keep her company while having a sister to sister conversation.
@@kevinthetruckdriver353 Not sure what you guys are smoking but Ale never goes over to Dany's side of the stage when Dany does her solos, she always goes over and hangs out with Pau as she did in this video.
The only time Ale switches sides with Dany is at the end of ES as she did in this video.
Nothing out of the norm when it comes to what parts of the stage Ale used for this concert, it's what she has been doing for the last 2 years

@@BrentTharp What Ale did on this show is what she normally does, anything different is because of a tight stage setup where they can't move like they normally move.

Damn. So much confidence. Dany ran off the beat during Animosity, and Pau didn't even try to bring her in. She just waited for her to get back on, which she did a couple bars later. No fear, no worry, just "Yeah, my sister's got this."

Thank you so much for this. It is my favorite kind of video for a Warning performance. All three in the shot all the time, no fancy zooming in and out and all the other nonsense videographers do. Greatly enhanced by the absence of smoke machines and red lighting. Great video. So funny, while Day is doing her tease for Dull Knives, Ale and Pau are just relaxing in the background talking about each other's hair and bangs. :

The opening act didn't perform because they had issues with their visa and couldn't come down from Canada. Dany has been sick the last few days. Ale may have skipped the meet and greet because she caught what Dany has.
Hmmm, that's not good. I was worried that would happen. They have been working too hard lately. Whoever plans the tours needs to stop scheduling so many shows in a row. Are they done now for a bit?@@JeffRW78

So I’m curious. Why is it that on both Mayday and Error tours. It’s seems like every state they played in got at least a repeat visit or more. With the exception of Ohio. One and done, Bogarts. Why? As an Ohioan and a Warning fan, that bothers me.
Why are crowds at rock concerts so dead now in the States? No jumping, headbanging, crowd surfing? Must be all boomers worried about losing their smartphones. Great concert by the girls anyways despite the crowd being so stiff.
I think the most important thing is for the crowd to sing along and make noise. Crowd surfing? Have you seen how old some of their fans are in the US 😂
Crowd surfing is frowned upon by a lot of venues (Brighton Music Hall has a sign indicating that anyone who crowd surfs will be kicked out), presumably for safety/liability reasons. As for jumping, at least some of us can't any more.
This isn’t exactly crowd surfing music. They play more alternative rock and such, which is a lot slower and with an older audience base.
If you want Mosh pits, crowd surfing and such - go to a metalcore or doom metal concert.
Most of the crowd in the US is older. The alternative rock heyday in the US was the nineties.
Smartphones, most are busy with their phone cameras

Great concert, I wish the video was a little more clearer .
Always a tradeoff. We had a table at the rear of then venue. The sound was great but the distance to the stage was a little more than I would have liked.
