I know a man in his early 60s who lives in Tehachapi and works in Palmdale. A 60 year old man drives an hour to work and an hour back home, Monday through Saturday, now THAT'S a workaholic to death❤️😍
Sorry about that. As much as I drive around sometimes I accidentally go through stop signs. I think it happens about 2-3 times a year. Not something I'm proud of but definitely aware of it and trying to resolve the issue. Thanks for watching my video
Gotta agree && laughing too much!!! You are so “on spot”!!! 🤣😂 … SAW IT TOO LP 😂🤣😂🤣 … And heard him say (under his breath) … “”Shit””!! … FUNNY … No offense but if I could share that blue flashing light emoji here … I would (as comedy😱🤣😂) … and … NOT talking about the old Kmart “”blue light specials””!!!! LOL … 😂🤣 Had I not seen your comment I might have totally not picked up on that!!! …. That was NOT even a “California rolling stop” LOL … Love this video … && thanks for pointing it out ….NOW … Loved this video & so glad I found these on RUclips!!! .. We are all human & Make mistakes … He is definitely not the first & not the last!!! .. Gonna admit and say it … Did that once too … By the time I realized what I did😱😱😱🙏🙏🙏 .. 4 way stop … Accidentally ran the stop sign … Then FEAR SET IN … Right in front of me after running it …. WAS A COP!!! … Writing another ticket to someone else … HEART WAS STILL POUNDING 😱😱😱💯 … Got the heck off that street ASAP … Was less than a quarter mile from home!!!! … Geez Louise … Gotta laugh at everything … Yet be aware … Life is great … Yet life is short … Enjoy it to the MAX!!! … Always take adventures on LIFES highways❤️❤️💯💯😱🙏🙏😂🤣😂🌹🌹❤️❤️
I used to live in Tahachipi, I also visited several times, if you took a left on the corner were the Burger Spot is up the street is the Ranch Motel, on Main there's a Motel a few block's from the Burger Spot, there's a real good Mexican restaurant on Main just after Circle K market, I've been to all those places, thanks for the video and memorie's.
Where's the maximum security prison? Isn't that where Chucky-Cheeze Manson lived? Did I actually see fiber optic snow shoes and fiber taps? How can a dinky little town like that have fiber-optic internet???
Thanks for your comment, I'm not sure about the prison it's not something I normally look for. I've been traveling for years now and I'm always surprised on how many towns have fiber optics in them now. Our nation has put a lot of money into improving Internet network.
TEHACHAPI... take away the watertower by the train tracks and it really doesn't look much different from hundreds of other rural towns in America... It's kind of generic and spread out as your 11 minute dashcam video showed, no impressive or historical buidings... at least you showed what it looks like Nick, the one thing it is famous for is the Tehachapi Train Loop, a marvel of engineering bringing the freight trains up from the valley floor through the mountains up at 4,000 ft. Other than that, it's the mention of it's once famous womens prison (now mens) that Humphrey Bogart threatens Mary Astor with in THE MALTESE FALCON... You might say TEHACHAPI is one whistle-stop town, ok for a visit on the way to somewhere better... no pun intended about your blasting through the "stop sign" -the city tries to save on traffic lights! p.s. You should've edited out your driving mistake and what's even worse it's not a good idea to own up to it on RUclips of all places!
I enjoyed reading your comment, Thank you for all the information. P.s I'm sorry about running the stop sign and what I said. I missed that before I published it.
You certainly get around Nick, I guess next you'll be getting a drone like so many other RUclipsrs... great photography and fantastic shots, and to think that we had to hang out of an expensive Bell Jet Ranger, doors open with a $200,000 Panavision camera dangerously close to the ground, just trying to get some of the stable shots that a drone can do so easily and cheaply. I certainly saw the sights of America in my 40 years in HOLLYWOOD, and all before COVIDism turned the world stark-raving mad -good luck to you, keep on rolling!@@nickhthetraveler
In a lifespan you see a lot of change. Sometimes it's hard to grasp how fast this world spins. I have been Full time traveling for 3 years and every time I come back around I see change. Not all change is bad but it's all different. I am just glad that I can share a little bit of my experiences with the world. I will never have the same production value as some RUclips Experts. But this is my experience and I am glad I can share it.
Wow, if you bothered to add some interesting remarks, this might have gone from useless to just boring. Why people do these videos I'll never understand. If you had to pay even $1.00 to post this, would you have done it?
Thank you for your comment, I have quite a bit of feedback from people That love seeing their hometowns. I know it's not for everybody but can you imagine if you haven't been home in years and you had a chance just to drive through your town.
I grew up in Tehachapi. I don't live there anymore unfortunately, but I love visiting anytime l can.
Definitely seemed like a nice town.

You blew right through that stop sign after the water tower.

@@nickhthetraveler it's like being back in time over there, more peaceful and quiet.
Nice place to visit I guess. Oh by the way, at 6:49 you blew right through the stop sign .🤣😂🙄
It is a very nice place. Can't believe I blew through that. Unfortunately it does happen. I don't like it. Thanks for watching
great traveler-))
Thank you
My son lived there a year ago.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you stopped by and watched the video.
Would this be a good town to live in retired working part time? Any tiny homes or nice cheap apartments?
It is a very desirable town, I'm not sure of all of the amenities. Good luck on your planning
I’m also looking for tiny homes. Or… the possibility of putting one there. I’ve visited many times over the last 30 years, and I’d love to live there.
Would be improved with a little narration and a map. And "Who/what/when/where" background information.

I love the videos. I love that this person doesn’t talk and doesn’t play music. Perfect video for me and many others ❤
