I could be watching a bs click bait supercar channel but instead I’m watching Harry talk about tractors. Who else is as happy as I am?!
yeah - very happy watching Harry - and anything from Harry's Garage - and for me no need to have another channel called Harry's Farm or something, because I just enjoy his videos and his eclectic vehicles he shows us - he can do a video on any vehicle or device and I would be happy! Cheers.
eagle boy which one is Parker again?
eagle boy Jesus he’s insufferable
Cars have just become boring, this is not.
@eagle boy then there's that Hi Schmee I'm Guys dude... blergh
Is there any limit to this mans talent? I think you could muck out a stable and make it interesting, I love the way Harry engages with the camera and talks to you instead of being a shouty man yelling at the camera.
Great style and very charismatic.
I concur! Harry is as "real" and engaging as a presenter can get. Every single video he makes is a joy to watch.
Great videos Harry! The amount of technology in farm vehicles is incredible, I hope to see more like these.
Really interesting. I see farmers working the land all the time without a clue about what they're doing. Would love to see a video about how you plan the year as a farmer, what jobs need to be done in what order, crop rotation etc. Thanks Harry.
Leave it to Harry - his presentation makes farm equipment absolutely fascinating to a classic car nut like me! Very informative and entertaining. I have now been convinced I need to own a farm tractor to cultivate and manage my 0.0575 Acre lawn. 😂
grafvonstauffenburg absolutely!
Be careful there mate!!
Harry your in A hi risk game but we love it ,and that's from A Glasgow Long Haul truck driver, rgds Colin.
Did man maths help you come to that conclusion lol
@@bmanduprit2962 yes, it did. I checked my math with a scientific calculator so that I would not have to round-off to the nearest decimals😂😂
I like the idea of harry's Farm. The processes and techie part would be fascinating. Well done.
Yes, agriculture has always been the forgotten army i terms of the industries (would you agree Harry?) and Harry's ability to explain would I m sure help the industry.
Couldn't agree more. Would love to hear more from Harry about farming in general.
Yes Harrys Farm - looking forward to all the livestock issues!!!!!!!!!
NOt sure about livetsock, all I now is the local farmer rather eoys bocking the road up . he does lord it a bit.
I nevver got into animals. Hats off to those who can.
(yes yes I know some time in the past my folks must have been into it)
I don't think he has life stock because I only saw harvesting equipment
Never did I think that I would enjoy a video about tractors...
i think harry is the ONLY one on youtube that could do a video about paint drying, and it would get PLENTY of views and likes.
Amazing video, and you're a top presenter. Always engaging!
brilliant and very interesting harry..Thankyou
Harry you are the only car reviewer who could get me watching farm machine videos 😂👍🏻
Love these down to earth videos. Getting sick of videos of milionairs show off their Gumball toys
And definitely, do more! I am not sure how RUclips would rate having a separate channel vs keeping them here with a separate playlist. I’m not sure how other viewers would feel or if you’d lose viewers. Some people get temperamental if you stray “off formula” but I watch mainly to see you present interesting stuff, not just for cars, so to me I’d say keep it on the same channel
i agree. i saw tractor. actually no the combine one. saw this and harryys garage and said what? but its harry so, its got to be good. if it were me, id keep it here also.
I suspect most of the people who are interested in cars, are interested in machines in general. I like big bits of metal and while I'm highly unlikely ever to drive a tractor or combine, it was definitely interesting to see the videos.
I'd stick to a single channel with the odd off piste video.
I could watch this all day. So utterly awesome.
Must admit I didn’t think I’d find a tractor video interesting, even done by Harry; but this was enthralling. Did Harry say it cost just £70k? I”m selling the car, I really want one! When the M40’s jammed I shall just head for the fields!
Yeah he said 70k I was expecting much more for some reason that adjustable steering is fantastic , enjoyed the 2 farming videos but hopefully he gets back to a few motors or bikes soon :)
Just shows what a rip off cars are
Personally I would love to see a farming channel from you, it would be of massive interest. Keep it up!
"Harry's Farm" . You simply must do, Harry. Brilliant
I am sitting on my veranda smoking a joint ,10 meters from me a Kangaroo gracing and my computer playing Harry talking about a tractor. Life is good! Thanks Harry and thanks Australia.
Doesn't Australia spell it like "metre"?
Keep your drugs talk off of this channel
Boxmaster Systems would you be as offended if they mentioned a cup of coffee or a glass of Chardonnay? Or is it just cannabis? If so, have a doobie, it might help you relax
Gauntlet maybe English is not my main language.
Boxmaster Systems you wet lettuce
Loving these farm videos, that tractor is a beast, keep em coming, very interesting content.
first video i found of yours, as i am a farmer with a love for machinery, and cars, so i think i found my perfect channel, and i think doing harry’s farm is a great idea, would definitely interest me and i know a lot of my friends would think the same, great video, i am in for a bit of a binge watch now of your videos !!!
Love the old gray fergie! that's what I learned to drive when I was just a lad!!
I really hope and pray you will do more this kind of videos about agriculture machines and farming. Would be really nice to see you yard and all the implements.
Yes more Harry’s Farm vids please! Top notch reversing skills Harry 👍
Love the farm content, cars are interesting but i really love to see these specialized vehicles explained and at work. You can really see that the engineers who built them knew exactly for whom they were building them.
Never thought I would be watching videos about combine's and tractors! , Very interesting thought . Thanks.
Really enjoyed that.
This is just incredible, cannot wait for more of this.
Great stuff. I wonder how many people had their first drive on a tractor, I know thats where I started. It is really cool to see these vids, not just cause the ole man did plowing competitions and was decent at them, but so people understand how fud gets on their plate.
never watched anybody talking about tractors but love this nice one harry
Harry's Farm, yes please. I use to use our Fergie (TVO/Petrol) to mow grass (side mounted cutter, good for cutting fence poles), ploughing, disking/rolling our 60 acre farm, we had to tow it between fields with my Series 1 because it was so slow (max speed then, 18mph)
Excellent piece of reversing there.
Yes please keep it up, happy to watch anything on wheels or water that comes out of Harry's Garage(s), the diversity of equipment covered is very interesting indeed, well done !
Excellent, really enjoyed the last 2 vids. If anything, it's a bit of a change. Nothing wrong with that.
Really enjoying this mini farming series you should definately do more!
Fantastic film Harry, Iam a car fan from a farming background not had the pleasure of tractor 🚜 work for many many years.
Totally up for Harry’s Farm, please! Two terrific videos. Thank you.
please do it! its fascinating to watch!
A separate Harry’s Farm channel would be awesome.
You could talk about painting a wall and we’d all still be interested...
'Harry's Farm' - that's a great idea.
Having seen that tractor in the background of the last video, I was hoping to one on this machine - thank you!
Ah gotta love grey fergies. Having dropped a TE20 off a slipway a while back I can vouch for the benefits of the hoop! (mine didn't have it, still surprised I survived that)
You could make a 30 min video of paint drying and it would still be brilliant
lol i made a nearly identical comment. i wholeheartedly agree
Harry's Drying Paint channel
Yes definitely do a Harry's Farm channel. Nice all round Case tractor & video. Autosteer and headland management work very well when you've got that set up. Did you look at a (more expensive) Fendt?
Great vid Harry! Definitely do more farming videos, you are fantastic at explaining how it all works!
Absolutely brilliant Harry, I’m hooked and subscribed after two videos, cracking information and made me laugh too, takes me back to when my dads mate took me farming, he had a Renault 136-45?? Keep up the good work mate!!!
We love your garage Harry !
Really interesting! For GBP70M - that's an awful lot of tractor for such an affordable price; I found that really astonishing!
Please do lots more of these; Harry's Farm (new series) sounds absolutely brilliant.
Oh, and please get Charlie that app for Xmas, so he can run the tractor via satellite...and the combine too! lol
Normally not into farm related mechanics....but you made it very interesting. Great video 👍
Now I'm definitely set to get me one of these beauties! lol
The tech is amazing. Brilliant job. Keep them coming.
These are great! I wonder how many people have driven a tractor and a Pagani
Welcome to Harry´s barn
I would love to see Harry's Farm!
I guess when you have a barn full of supercars that average around 8mpg on high octane petrol, its pretty important to save on a few litres of duty free red diesel when you're out and about in your tractor 🚜!!
We bought two new NH tractors , very similar to this Case but painted blue .[ Case and New Holland are Fiat owned ].
Never again , they constantly let us down , breakdown after breakdown after breakdown . Usually sensor/computer related but one turbo did blow up . All covered under warranty but still had to pay the dealer to drive out to the farm which was 2 hrs travel each way , plus we were not remunerated for the downtime and the fact that we lost crops because of missing the weather .
After you have done a few hundred hours in that cab , you will realise that it is not very ergonomic , has no opening windows and the air conditioning will become dysfunctional .Bloody uncomfortable and annoying.
John Deeres have better control layout but as far as reliability is concerned are no better ,my neighbour has a 140 hp that has had to have a transmission rebuild TWICE within 2000 hrs , plus a new dashboard unit because that went kittywonkus as well. My other neighbour has two John Deeres broken down and only one running .
Modern tractors are overcomplicated , unreliable junk .
We made a decision to get rid of them and buy late eighties/early nineties tractors and have them rebuilt before we put them to work . These tractors don't have computers and have mechanical fuel pumps . Simple ,reliable and fixable on the farm .
I've once been told - but I don't know anything about tractors - that Fendt is the way to go.
Expensive, but the very best.
@@jpthehoff8603 They do have a good reputation but also have a 50% price premium and no dealer in our area .
still got two IH 1455s going strong with gargantuan hours on each
Very interesting to see how far they've come. I last drove tractors at agricultural college back in 1994 and was amazed at the time with the fact they had radios and a sunroof! Maseys, Renaults, John deeres and Ford's, we had an array of machinery.
I absolutly love it. More Harry's farm soon please.
Surely you should have a Lambo tractor, I remember a documentry many years ago about the little gray Fergie. Ferguson developed an entire range of implements for the then new 3 point linkage system.
Loved your video when you went to the top of Norway. Anymore of these style videos coming soon? Maybe a tour of Iceland?
I totally called the Harry's Farm name on Twitter!
lol, even has a car air freshener tree in the cabin. Do those things ever work?!
Lmao
Great Video Harry, as always. Come down to Australia and we'll show you a real farm
You showed the differences between the case and the fergie. Two points: 1. The grey Fergie was a Ferguson, NOT a Massey Ferguson. 2. Pickup hitches were fitted to grey ferries, they probably introduced them.
Enjoyed this, good to see something different 👍🏻
Great videos! And nice to see a Swedish implement doing great work!
Harry's Farm - Love it :)
" Be mindful not to go thru the roof with the trailer"..." That would be embarrassing"...Lmao
i don't even own a car or any land but this is great.
fascinating - thanks!
Love it! Driving a tractor is something you have to try in life, it's quite special.
You can drive the old Ferguson on 2 or 2 ½ litre per hour for light loads, and possible not more than 4 litres for with a cultivator.
Thanks Harry, I found this and the Combine one fascinating. Just shows what efforts go into producing our food. Perhaps in a few years it may be remote or autonomous driven.
Ian Masters - There are three companies already building autonamous tractors.
Autonomous tractors are the next big thing. They can be smaller and lighter than current tractors because they would be able to toil away 23 hours a day, seven days a week with only the stop to refuel and for inspection and replacement of soil engaging wearing parts and general maintenance. Only suitable for large scale, big field cereal farms though. Most other operations would be too varied and complex for any computer currently available and would be in 'Terminator' territory. When I say 'large scale' I do mean field sizes of about the size of Harry's whole farm. There are such vast areas in the Ukraine, Russia, Australia and maybe South America. There are single farms there that are roughly the size of Wales.
I have only just found Harry;s Farm Channel. It is so interesting to see how complicated modern British farming is , both the crops and the complexity of the modern machinery. My maternal grandparents had an arable farm in Norfolk but how times have changed .
Harry, you would make a great Top Gear presenter!
I think Harry is way past that standard already.
I was going to say he's far too interesting.
I think all the Top Gear presenter needs to know is how to spin the wheels in a child like manner, Harry is light years ahead of those morons.
This week, I'm driving the greatest tractor............................IN THE WORLD!
he is too good for Top Gear this chanel is better than Top Gear
Harry's Garage & Farm would be good Harry.
Please do Harry's Farm. I find this sort of stuff fascinating as it is, but it's even better with your fantastic presentation.
I love this geeky stuff
Harry’s Farm would be awesome
How you sell the grain to market and choose crops etc
Case built a simular set up of tractor in the 1970s. It didn't have a CVT trans but it had like 4 clutches which allowed to "shift thru 4 ranges" with just a bump of the lever.
Now all this high tech automation won't be kind to these. John Deere is already seeing its buyers getting frustrated. Because it can't fix the tractors out of warranty.
Why we are seeing high tech tractors and equipment is because they are afraid to lose sales if they don't keep up with the competition. I actually find it hilarious that they keep forgetting that farmers want LOW MAINTENANCE COST not high repair cost etc.
Do some farmers seek out very advanced last technology? Sure they do, but they also enjoy simple designs too.
Farming videos would be great, I would keep them on this same channel but have them tagged and titled Harry's Farm, some of the car viewers may not like farming content and vice-verser but your enthusiasm and knowledge are what makes your videos worth watching, just like your writing you did/do about cars.
The equipment would be great to cover, but maybe a series with equipment and crops, I don't know what you gro but let's just use potatoes, for example, going from the soil preparation and the machines used for preparing, planting, feeding, harvesting etc>
There must be so many weird and interesting farming machinery about I am sure compamieys would let you visit them and review machinery, you must see if if it would be possible to review a lamborghini tractor though.
I’d love for you to “borrow” a certain neighbour’s Lamborghini R8 and compare it to your Case IH and make a video on either here or Harry’s Farm
An excellent overview of modern tractors and their use, I cant help but wonder if this tractor will still be active in 70 years time like your Fergi 20, electronics do not like vibrations and dust that is ever present on farm machinery, but really lightens the work load few a couple of seasons, I have just got off my Fergi after shifting 18 tons of soil, I sure it would have taken far less time with the Case ! Also a very good tribute to the Fergusson System, to which we owe so much today.
Very interesting great presentation. Harry on Top Gear? I would start watching again! 👍
It's getting close to the point where we can just automate it all now, just keep a technician on call.
My next tractor from:
Solectrac
Monarch
Rigitrac
Fendt
Top work Harry, a man of your caliber should be driving a Fendt though!
Haha I put the wiring looms on these!
You're the one responsible! Right!
LOL only kidding.
As a young guy, the Fergie was the first tractor I was allowed to use. We had 2, one kero, the other petrol. Does anyone know where the starter is? Took me a while to find it back then.
Another excellent video. Very interesting to note what a big engine they use when they want a continuous rated output of 150 HP.
Back in the day there was no roll cage. i remember the 135 MF with multi-shift. never go down hill and flick the multi shift on LOL.
Cooler than a Ferrari. Please sir do more videos on farming
When is the next farm visit, really interesting 👍🏻
more please
I wanna be a farmer!
Never thought I'd be watching a tractor review - but Harry, you can make anything look cool. Nice one!
Man, I studied ag engineering, worked as a baler test driver for a while and designed machines for 6 years plus drove machines all over the world travelling. This is one of the best vids I've seen to convey the levels of tech in new machines to people who don't know the industry, well done!
I've worked with hydraulics and as they age they become quite 'dirty' especially I would imagine in the food industry, the sticky sap could be a real issue. Are food trailers like this 'lifed' and/or do you require DEFRA inspections as they age? It was only when you backed into the grain I thought the chance of contamination could be high there. I have worked on farms and fishing and seen some right rickety hydraulic equipment in both, both next to our food. Asking with interest, not point scoring.
Keep the farm stuff doing, just prefix the title as 'Harrys Farm' or something so those who aren't intersted don't have to watch it if they don't want to - the fools!
I grew up in the countryside (before this sort of tech was around, and also in the faaaar far north of scotland...) and I sort of got bored of farming. Work in tech these days, and did some odds and sods for a modern farmer of your ilk, and was amazed by the sort of things you can do with agricultural equipment these days and what is expected of the modern farmer, so I'm all up for more of this.
Funny to look at the case 150, ie International 150 from 2018, I have a 1959 McCormick International 250, With front end loader. Which is used a lot still
Would love to see more farm stuff. Really interesting.
I would just like to echo the other comments here saying yes please to more farm videos. It's very interesting to hear about the different processes throughout the year and the different machinery involved. And just anything farm related really, it's not something that 99% of people ever get to hear about, but your presenting style makes it really interesting and it's a great niche for you.
I note that Harry's tractor is a tad more advanced than my MF-35 :-))
As for "Harry's farm", I'm in! Where do I subscribe?
Harry exudes the same enthusiasm in this video as if he was describing the workings of a Lamborghini! Very enjoyable!
