- Welcome back to our Gibb River Road adventures!
This episode we take you from Ellenbrae Station to the Manning Gorge campground, along the way we hit the roughest part of the road requiring some quick repairs and find an incredible spot to stop for lunch!
We get up early for our hike to the Manning Gorge falls and enjoy a morning swimming and jumping off the rocks before heading back to camp for a camp oven cookup!
We finish this episode in what we believe to be the most picturesque gorge, the stunning Galvan's Gorge that we get to enjoy all to ourselves for the most part.
Thanks for joining in on our adventures!
Have a great weekend

I think i might need to soon to catch up again, it just takes time is all and is tricky when we are on the move.
Thank you for the support though!
Hi Mark & Clem, I have a 2019 Road Owl and have been sealing places underneath, wrapping foam over the pvc pipes, sealed up the plugs on the Sink type outlets with Silastic to stop dust ingress, you mentioned dust coming in from under the fridge, well there is a sink plug I found out directly under the fridge which I have now sealed up ( Didn't realise it was there until a thorough inspection) you cannot see this from inside the van, This may be one place where the dust is entering. Thanks for pointing out some of the problems, which has been very helpfull as we are touring next year. Love following your adventures, Cheers.
That was exactly what i found and covered! Thank you, i never even really noticed it but it was definitely a hole, much better after that!
Hey another great video ,keep them coming. Could use please tell me who you have the car and van insured with and who your roadside assist is with and what level of cover as some now are only offering 2 tonne towing thank you regards Rodney
Thanks buddy.
Um car is SGIO, van is CIL.
We have roadside with RAC top cover and New Age Assist.
Looking to combine them all with potentially RAC when they are due again soon.
Van came with insurance and i already had SGIO so was just easier to keep it all until renewal
Further to my comment on the outlet under the fridge, the outlet is in the void behind where the power point is and the fridges power cord.
Yup! Thanks mate really appreciate the information, wish j found that earlier
@@Ourwhittleadventure Cheers Mark, all the best in your future travels, we look forward to following your adventures.
Thanks mate, safe travels!
What month did you travel the Gibb
Was end of June, i did try and put the dates and location ag the beginning of each episode but i think i missed a couple
Hi ,Mark can I ask where you got the window covers
The car ones?
They are solar screens. Have had them 10 years, think they have an online website still 👌🏻
Thanks for the help
No worries at all
6.30am at manning gorge and is that a generator going???
I think its the water pump for the ammenities, couldn’t hear it from camp but was loud down at the river
Noice
Cheers buddy
