Please beware of the repairing cost in the future, esp for houses with big yards, garages with separate doors and openers, roof/siding replacement, etc. The most important thing for house selection is always "location, location, location", e.g. good & safe neighborhood, good school district, close to parks, shopping malls, clinics, bus lines, etc. Moreover, please make sure there are street lightings at night time. Size of home and design of home are only secondary since any old houses could be demolished and rebuilt in the future. If the location is good, the houses will appreciate faster and give a good resale value in the future. Besides, please keep in mind that real estate taxation is calculated based on square footage of the house and lot of land, as well as location of the house. Please don't just look at how big is the house or how fancy is the house. Please make sure the house you buy fit your needs the most.
Please also pay attention to the type of water heater used, how long ago it was replaced, type of heating system, as well as gutter/# of downspouts. House repairment cost in US is always a big pain and could bleed your wallet! 😢

比較起來，選擇第二間，空間較大，小豆腐笑得開心🤣但，覺得客廳家具及裝飾部份搭配整體牆面顏色，有點沈重感。。還是需要重新調整！但，非常認同Jay所說，感情比房子重要！👍感情不好，住豪宅也感到索然無味。感情好，就算一家三口擠小坪數公寓，依然感到幸福美好！😉💗

@@豪張-n1y 谢谢您的回复，很亲切的同胞。我定居在新西兰，对房地产比较熟悉，这样的房子，在新西兰的造价基本要40多万美元（一平方米要3000多NZD，折合1800以上美元）。奥克兰中等区的地价（450--500平方米）也要120万NZD(折合70多万美元）。地价+房子造价+政府收费+设计费用等，是要超过210万NZD(折合130万USD）。
Kansas 的房子比加州便宜太多。今后我打算把房子换到Kansas city 去时，找你做我的经纪人。先要了解一下当地的气候，是否属于hurricane ally 之类的，还有就是好坏区域。😅
