  • Teachers have joined thousands of public sector workers for the biggest day of strike action in more than a decade. The majority of state schools in England and Wales will be fully or partly closed, as train and bus drivers, university lecturers and civil servants also walk out. Members of the National Education Union, whose ranks have been swelled by 40,000 new members in the last fortnight, are asking for an inflation-busting pay rise.

The GOOD LIFE is NOT starving or suffering from malnutrition, not being forced to drink contaminated water, not being enslaved or sex-trafficked, not trying to stay alive in a war zone, not watching your loved ones dying around you, not worrying if your child will be safe walking to school. Strive to be happy in the non-material, or you never will be.

      Well atleast if you haven't, just like the NHS just because you don't get sick it doesn't mean you shouldn't pay into it.
      If you prefer everything to become privatise that's fine. But just know that if education went down the same route of corporate greed there are plenty who would pay. Private schools, Tutoring and tuition centres are profitable for a reason.
      You might not see the value but then again maybe it's because of the lack of service you recieved.

      @solomonkzarka4045 Год назад

      @@nickthebubble4060 Agreed, the real funny thing is some of the people who join their band waggen of siding against workers. Despite them being workers themselves, and almost always quoting their own salaries being lower.
      And ofcourse this is because they are far less qualified or educated to make the same money as teachers or nurses. Some how that's a justification for them not to get a pay rise, because they get paid less. Jealous little gits who skipped school, didn't go to college after 16 and didn't get a degree.
      Not that a degree is the answer to everything it by far is not. However the uneducated fools who speak and use this as their reason are just green with envy and too stupid too realise the government peddles this ideology to them through the news and they lap it up like a dog sipping on its own vomit.
      The biggest driver for inflation is profits, salary increases makes up only a small percentage of inflation compared to profits made. Yet the Conservative refuse to tax profits of energy companies for example because they "create jobs" or they "invest" when we can see rhat they haven't invested anything they just rake in profits and barely invest into the countries infrastructure. Too bad these people are too stupid or have too much sheep DNA in them to realise they're being reared like farm stock by these politicians and other elites. Just look at the LBC call today about teachers. Caller called in against it, despite his own wife being a teacher, and without filled he quoted that his wife earns almost 40k while he earns less as a lorient driver. Yes mate she has a minimum of two degrees all you have is a driving licence dumb tard.
