After watching your video, I have a further understanding of Bakery. I wanted to use Bakery for many times in the development project, but I gave up halfway because of many problems when using it. After watching your video this time, I plan to spend a week on in-depth study of Bakery for my own use.
wtf is that supposed to mean? I worked very hard to create it. I provide hours worth of free, highly edited educational lessons. I figured that if people have enough money to buy Bakery then they have enough money to donate to me and get access to this and other exclusive tutorials
@Iconoclass just because someone has the money to buy bakery doesn't always mean they got the money to pay monthly on a patreon. You buy bakery once, but you gotta pay every month for patreon. And if someone needs the tutorials more than once, they gotta keep paying just to watch it. Not everyone has that kind of money to spare
@Iconoclass I can understand putting a tutorial on patreon temporarily, but keeping it behind a paywall forever isn't fair to a lot of people who can't afford a subscription
I’ve spent thousands of hours learning all I have about computers, computer graphics and game development, and hundreds more creating all the instructional videos that I have. And you don’t believe that deserves compensation? How is that fair to me, when I could’ve spent all that time doing literally anything else, including working a “real job” which would’ve been much more profitable? You wanna guess how much ad revenue I’ve made from this RUclips video in the past 28 days? 28 cents. In total? $3.62. If you wanna advocate for a world in which people don’t have to work to perpetuate their own existence, go ahead. But we don’t live in that world. Paying for labor is as old as money itself. Education is labor, and paying for it is standard all over the planet. If you or anyone else really can’t afford $7 for my Patreon despite being able to afford the $90 + tax for Bakery and the RT Preview, you can read Bakery’s documentation. But maybe just for you I’ll create a free lesson called “How Not to Talk to Creators 101”.

The ring of lights also bother me a lot..
Watch ep 10 where I cover uploading to quest and how to fix bad looking textures. Apply ASTC setting to the bakery lightmaps
@@iconoclass thank you so much ❤️😭
