Can’t explain how many beginners try and think they own the track, like please move out of the way, great vid btw, i can tell you’re a skilled driver, best thing to do when encountering novices or new drivers is just to wait, you’ll lose more time trying to overtake them. They’ll eventually make a mistake and you can easily pass them, you’ll eventually even learn to anticipate their erratic behaviour, this does require a lot of driving with slow drivers, which can be irritating. Most of my videos show me passing slower drivers, and im explaining the method i use on them. Also what a shitty track, slowing down the karts when a yellow happens???? And so thin, barely any overtaking possibilities. A tip i do have is that you’re pretty agressive on some overtakes, nothing against you personally but that could get you black flagged or even get you warnings on some tracks.
Pretty common in every track I’ve been to, slowing down the karts when there’s a crash on track. R1 is actually a little better because it’s possible to get into a fast category, but you’ll only do it if you are able to lay down consistently fast lap times. So you’d be guaranteed a n00b-free heat and all of their erratic driving and complete lack of peripheral vision

And because there was less chaos and less slowing karts down, I was able to get my actual hot laps down which was 3rd. Two guys were semi-pros so I had no chance lol.
