How interesting! I also have little knowledge about BTS even though I am a Korean😅 I guess that a member who is really good at speaking English is active not only as a musician but also as a presenter, making it possible to influence globally. The interview of Ellen show that I watched was impressive. Thanks for good podcast! :)
Yes, I think RM (the English-speaking member) has been very important for growing the group globally. I find him really interesting so I'd love to do a video about him in the future! Thanks for watching this week's podcast!
It was a verrrry helpful lesson😁 I loved it because I'm a big fan of ♥BTS ♥ and I can understand from u 100%. It's enjoyable to learn english with the thing u love. 😊Thanks for making this nice episode👍😄.
Just corrections and facts. They are famous with fans of all ages in the UK and globally. Not just among teenage girls. Their company named us ARMY, to match the meaning of BTS, and its an acronym actually. To be ARMY all you have to do is like all seven members and be respectful. The official membership packages is a merch sold by their company. (We’re not obsessive cult like people) BTS have been active for 8 years now, and have only just gained traction in the Uk and America on a big scale. Kpop and kdrama were popular before BTS on a global scale albeit not as big as BTS. Yes BTS are amazing dancers but dancing is normal with idol kpop groups. They all go through training before debut to learn to sing, dance and rap. In BTS one of the members, Suga is also a producer for a lot of their music. They have several other amazing producers including PDogg and Adora. I think member RM has also produced many songs. He has also written many of the BTS song lyrics himself. RM and Suga were well known in the underground rap scene before their joined their company bighit. They didnt know each other before this. Member JHope is the lead dancer. He help come up with their choreo and helps the members to learn them. You should try the Korean dish bulgogi with glass noodles, its amazing.
Btw, I recommend looking up their songs born singer, cypher (there are 3, I say 3 and 4 would be best) and magic shop. These song lyrics reflect who they are as a group and their story. I know you only wanted to talk about their impact but who knows, maybe we’ll get another BTS podcast from you yet... I wouldnt mind. I liked this one.
Really interesting podcast. I'm part of the BTS ARMY and I like to hear people that doesn't get into Kpop talking about one of my favorite boy groups ever!!! Sadly, I'm not from South Korea, so I can't get preferential seatings or tickets as you said AHAHAHA I loved this podcast so much that I'll be part of the "Jack's English" Army :) -sorry if I said something wrong, I'm actually from Latinoamerica-
Thanks for your wonderful comment! And congratulations on becoming the first member of the Jack's English army!🤣 It was great to chat about BTS and I have learned much more since. I hope you get a chance to come to South Korea and see BTS in the future!
No shade but why don't you investigate a little more about them? Army is the most diverse fandom, I'm 30+ and Im a fan. You should check their videos and their lyrics, theyre different from other groups. Bts members not only dance and sing, they also write their songs, and they're seven members. (hope not having many mistakes in my sentences) I can recommend some bts songs of you need
Hi Eli! Thanks for your information. We certainly didn't have enough knowledge on the band itself, and I will try to learn more about them as I'm interested in the lead singer's English ability. We hoped to focus more on the band's impact in Britain and our family and friends. I hope you found the conversation somewhat entertaining and I will do a lot more research before we next bring them up!👍
@@JacksEnglish it's okay, if you made a podcast about them it's because they're having a huge impact and I love it. Now just give them a chance and you'll understand why they're huge
They just throwing questions on each other when both of them don't know the answer. It's so awkward to listen but I get it BTS is not the focus its the words 👌👌
