Deebot X1 Omni problems returning to station and mopping plates are tangled

  • The Deebot X1 Omni has raving reviews yet we seem to have only problems with it. Deebot can't enter it's station (if it can find it). The problem seems to be that the wet mopping pads make it too difficult to make the climb on the tilting entrance. Since the firmware update, in stops every two minutes repeating six times: "mopping pads are tangled, please check". There is, of course nothing wrong...
    The customer service is horrible: they usually just suggest that you remove the robot from the app, uninstall it, install it again, factory reset the robot and if that doesn't work, write again. Are we really the only ones with these kinds of problems?
    While the customer service is as bad as it gets, they did, finally exchange the robot and it appears we received a newer version without any remarks or apologies or even a compensation for all the money we lost sending the old one. This newer version is always able to find its home and climb the ramp. It has other annoying faults though, like making much more noise and losing wifi-connection all the time (sitting about 1 metre from the router and having a dedicated 2.4 Mhz network just for itself!).
