I see Pan the Organizer is doing your voiceover. Hey @pantheorganizer. I'll have to place an order, let us know if Xar Supplies Warehouse will be carrying in the States.
C’mon now Pan! My favorite RUclips detailer and my favorite leather/leatherette protection company! What’s the difference between this and the Geist dye and friction blocker?
Hey...Dye & Friction Blocker is easy to put on and comes off with daily use (friction/abrasion). Hence, lasts anywhere between 3 - 6 months. Repel on the other hand lasts much longer ....over 12 months! Hope this clarifies your question.
@@geist.leathercare So it’s just the Geist product I’ve been looking for, then! What can you clean the seats with after applying the coating, for example dirt or something gets on the seats after being treated, something of course that doesn’t remove the coating?
To clarify, this isn’t a ceramic coating right? We shouldn’t expect hydrophobic properties? If you spill a drink on a surface coated with repel this does repel liquid just mainly dye transfer? Thanks!
Automotive leather isn't absorbent and as such doesn't need hydrophobic protection. The main aspects it needs protection from is dye transfer , general staining and friction damage.
@Geist If I recently applied the 3 minus dye and friction blocker, do I need to do anything before applying Repel aside from cleaning with Rapid Leather Cleaner?
Just got delivered to my door today! I have a 3+ year old vehicle. I just used that kit on my leather interior for the first time last weekend. Is Repel taking the place of the 3 plus kit every 3-6 months or do you recommend to still use the kit every 3-6 months and then the repel once a year?
Have you ever seen this? I left a black leather jacket on my white leather back seats. Car was under the sun so probably very hot inside. When I picked up my jacket, it left some dark mark on the white seats. Nothing seems to be able to remove those marks. Jacket has no white marks though, maybe jacket is better quality? Any thoughts or advice?
Hi there, it is possible that dye from the jacket transferred on to the leather seat. We suggest using Geist. Ink & Dye Remover - a plant based product that won't do any damage to the leather topcoat . On the flipside, you have to allow the product time to work. Simply apply and leave the product to work - overnight if necessary but you will likely need to repeat this process several times to lift the stain completely. Hope this helps!
I'm excited to get my hands on this, it's exactly the product I've been looking and waiting for.
Hope you enjoy it! Let us know if you have any questions...

Geist. rapid Cleaner (plant based) would be ideal for general cleaning once the coating has been applied.
First!!!! Hey Ram, I also watched his review, loving your products 👌👌👌nice sdd to your lineup
Hey, thanks Humberto! We've been working on it for over a year. Glad we've finally managed to get it out...
Can you use Repel and/or the friction blocker on steering wheels?
Yes sir!

Hey there...As you said, just clean the leather with rapid, ensure surface is dry after and you are ready to apply Repel!

Hi there...Repel does not replace 3 Plus. Apply Repel and use the 3 Plus once or twice a year for maximum benefit.

How do you remove a leather coating that was applied to synthetic leather seats?
Depends what leather coating was applied? Do you know?
