In some photos of Meghan and Harry arriving, there are chain link fencing draped with plastic tarps in the background, and she's dragging her huge skirt in the dust. Very view attendees were dressed up. The "red carpet" was about 10 feet long and had cheap plastic backdrops. Most attendees wore casual daytime clothes and some men wore ball caps at night. Low rent indeed. Interesting that the Harkles felt safe enough in Jamaica, which has the highest murder rate in the Carribean and Latin America.

Katherine was born for this just as she and William are clearly soulmates. it was her destiny. And she is wonderful at being the perfect example of what a modern Princess should be. The IRS was just all over us, middle lass Americans. Apparently the payment intended did not come out of our account due to an error by our accountant. My husband kept saying, oh, George takes care of all that. We finally got the letter that threatened confiscation of property. I made my husband call this George, and he figured out what happened. Not intended by anyone, but my husband just trusted this man. I made him aware of these letters and finally it was looked into. I'm happy we sorted it out, but for he IRS to spend that amount of time on us and our piddly tax payment and not these outwardly shady people is wrong.

I don't know about all this. I think the online article from The Hill entitled "A Montecito Yankee in King Charles' Court" may be more on target than we like. It is easy for us to just view things from a Western lens, instead of considering the wider, global picture. I hold the view that Harry and Megan actually believe some of their own BS. They may think that they are going to become the King and Queen of Commonwealth countries, and it is only the "evil racist current monarchy" that is keeping them from this goal. Hence some statements made earlier that the monarchy was keeping them from being successful--allegedly reported, of course. I do think it is very possible the couple believe the RF has this power--to keep media contracts from them and more. I guess this is easier to believe than just the fact you don't have more interesting content than making up stories about your relatives. As an American, it is probably not my place to say.. but.. I would strip all titles, even Prince if that is possible. I saw an interview with her father over a year or so ago where he had proof that years ago she was rendered where she would no longer be able to get pregnant. I heard it from his own mouth. Having Markle’s duchess title stripped from her would make her….well, Meghan Markle Windsor or Mrs. Windsor (especially as a resident of the U.S.) And I believe that is much more appropriate for her. She and Harry left the monarchy and in America royal titles don’t mean squat.
The only reason she has any title is because it was a gift from the reigning monarch at the time of her marriage. It’s in the monarch’s gift to give & thus can be taken away by that same system which gifted it to her by means of parliament &/or the current reigning monarch. Something tells me he’d be in favor of stripping the titles but up to this point I think he has stuck to never complain, never explain in an effort to avoid the resulting drama from the gruesome twosome by cutting off their titles. However, the sentiment to strip the titles from them seems to be growing by the hour of every single day that passes.
Markle’s children will technically always be a Prince and Princess even if they don’t style themselves as such because as offspring of Harry, they also technically have royal blood. Markle doesn’t have one drop of Royal blood and obviously does not come from a background of nobility or have any links to aristocracy. so the whole Princess thing is dead in the water for her and I wish people would let it go. She will never be a real Princess. End of story. And it absolutely is far past the time they should have been stripped of their Duke and Duchess titles.
Katherine is Princess because she married the heir not the spare and was GIVEN (not gifted) the title Princess of Wales as it’s historically handed down being married to the future king. But more importantly, she EARNED it. Katherine is the exception because she is the Disney fairytale come true (one of the many reasons Markle hates her so much along with that Katherine is gorgeous, gracious, kind, humble, respectful, respected, loved, admired etc.)
Katherine is the exception to the rule. She exudes grace, poise, elegance, honesty, integrity….. I could go on & on. Katherine holds herself & behaves in a manner that is truly fitting & makes it appropriate for her to be a Princess. She dated William nearly ten years (some breaks here & there) before he popped the question. Fast forward another ten years after their marriage and she has clearly earned the deep love & admiration of the entire royal family, including the late Queen as well as the British people. Katherine is what a Princess should be and we cannot say anything even remotely close to that about that horrible Markle witch.
Katherine was born for this just as she and William are clearly soulmates. it was her destiny. And she is wonderful at being the perfect example of what a modern Princess should be. Again, those are things we could never say about that horrible Markle woman.

Because Parliament has been infiltrated by anti-monarchists, and that includes all parties. They just keep quiet cos they know (like so many topics) they are massively out of touch with the majority of the British people.
They can't. If you are a UK citizen YOU can lobby your MP to raise this in Parliament. People who really care have managed to get H removed as a Counsellor because they are a threat to security if they had access to Windsor and the red boxes. We can get the question of titles removed. It was underway until the Ukraine and Israeli crisis. It is the responsibility of Parliament and the people to do this. King Charles can wish to engage with his son as a family head but we, the people don't have to put up with this treachery because it is affecting the status of our country and the Commonwealth.

The IRS was just all over us, middle lass Americans. Apparently the payment intended did not come out of our account due to an error by our accountant. My husband kept saying, oh, George takes care of all that. We finally got the letter that threatened confiscation of property. I made my husband call this George, and he figured out what happened. Not intended by anyone, but my husband just trusted this man. I made him aware of these letters and finally it was looked into. I'm happy we sorted it out, but for he IRS to spend that amount of time on us and our piddly tax payment and not these outwardly shady people is wrong.

I don't know about all this. I think the online article from The Hill entitled "A Montecito Yankee in King Charles' Court" may be more on target than we like. It is easy for us to just view things from a Western lens, instead of considering the wider, global picture.
I hold the view that Harry and Megan actually believe some of their own BS. They may think that they are going to become the King and Queen of Commonwealth countries, and it is only the "evil racist current monarchy" that is keeping them from this goal.
Hence some statements made earlier that the monarchy was keeping them from being successful--allegedly reported, of course. I do think it is very possible the couple believe the RF has this power--to keep media contracts from them and more.

EVERYONE should be Hoping, Praying, Wishing that Harry and Meghan tried their hand at "Influence Peddling" in Jamaica, or "acting as representatives of the Royal Family or UK government". That is Treason and something that could get him absolutely stripped of titles. Period, the end. Parliament told the late Queen that neither Harry nor Andrew were to be seen as representing the Royal Family, The Monarchy, or the UK government.
Other things: IF the royal family were serious about removing the titles: Harry has spoken out against the media, courts, Parliament, citizens, and country, Royal family and the monarchy...again Treason and a reason for removing his titles.
Other thing: IF the royal family got together to SUE Hand M for libel, slander, defamation of character, harassment...for a ton of money each, H&M don't have the money to pay up, the RF could make a deal with Harry to put his titles in Abeyance for 40 years / not use them under threat of suit. Thus get the job done.

As an American, it is probably not my place to say.. but.. I would strip all titles, even Prince if that is possible. I doubt Harry has a clue to what he is doing, I think Meghan may know and just doesn't care. While they are at it.. strip the titles of the "children" if they have no proof that they were born of her body.
I saw an interview with her father over a year or so ago where he had proof that years ago she was rendered where she would no longer be able to get pregnant. I heard it from his own mouth. I believe her brother had knowledge of that as well. It's amazing how they squash that information. This is one of the many reasons she did not want her dad around. Why is everyone still calling them Duke and Duchess!?? When one is hired by a corporation and is given a title while been employed as soon as one loses the job for whatever reason also loses the title. Why are they still allowed to used the titles when they themselves decided not to work for the kingdom!?? One doesn’t quit a job and expect to keep the benefits.
Yes, agree the titles should be removed as well as the line of succession. Whether they intend to cause trouble or just oblivious to the potential impact is not so much the issue. If it is intentional that is a dreadful betrayal. If they are just stupid or don't care, others can use them as a tool against the monarchy and country. By removing titles and succession, the only remaining association would be Harry being the wayward son who continues to act out to spite his family.
This implies that Jamaica is not an independent country. It is. They chose to keep Charles as King of Jamaica, if they want to replace him with a President they can. The Commonwealth of Nations is not British. There is nothing to stop Jamaica becoming a Republic and remaining in the Commonwealth. Most Commonwealth countries are Republics.
If Jamaica wants to go solo, they are free to do so. They stated this almost two years ago; what are they waiting for? Do the people of Jamaica want this, or just Holness being power hungry?
