The photo printed looks like something you would see on a ring doorbell Camera! Its odd that nintendo added a camera to one of the joycons but barely if ever used it.
theres a game on the eshop called night vision or something and it does exactly this. It's one of those cheap games. But it definitely lets you use the ir camera to take photos. As I have it
I am pretty sure you can do this as well using the Nintendo Labo cartridge (I only have the robot one btw) and screenshotting one of the menus in it, probably in the Toy-Con Garage
Does this program work with Pokeball Plus? I really want to use that controller on my PC just to do so. I know gamefreak made it annoyingly difficult to do so purely because they are gamefreak, so I want to stick it to them by using the pokeball with any game I freaking want.
@JakeCeption fair enough. If it seems interesting to you I feel that could make an interesting companion video. I know for a fact there's a unity project that could receive its input but I cant seem to find it again.
0:51 Okay minor correction, the IR camera is not optional in the LABO games, it is absolutely vital to the functionalities of most of the Toy-Con
My bad... Thanks for letting me know.

Thats Nintendo for ya. They usually add some random thing that is awesome but no one cares about it.
90 dollars well spent!
0:40 There's a quite new game that uses the IR sensor for a few minigames. WarioWare: Move It!
Okay but this video is actually the cleanest one yet they just keep getting better
Legendary fyp pull
you could make a joycon attachement that uses the ir sensor to communicate

That is another way you could do it. I kinda wanted to show... let's just say a more nerdy way of doing it.
this is great editing! i cant believe I haven't heard of you before! great video tho!!!!
Glad you like my editing style. Still tryin to perfect it tho...
That image would be great for a horror game
You give me idea...
never knew you could take a photo with that interesting video
Huh…so the Switch *DOES* have a camera, just… _not in the traditional sense._
Pretty much

I suppose that is another method. However, I kinda wanted to show a more unconventional way of doing it.
Great aunt Gertrude wake up! Jakeception uploaded once more!
At this point, we should wake up the whole damn family.
with the production value of this video I thought you had way more subscribers than 120
Sometimes the smallest channels can surprise ya.
why is your joycon -51 degrees
Reasons...
Glad to know this ~thing~ won’t be on the switch 2
Thanks Nintendo. My video is now fucked...
Up next: I recorded a video with a Xbox One X controller
thanks dat was fun and interesting to watch
Glad you enjoyed!

Sorry if this is unhelpful, but I actually don't know. I tried looking around but it still seems the Pokeball Plus is very hard to crack.

I could do a follow up video on it. We'll see what happens.
