Get some of those starter/self lighting long burn fire logs you can stick under a wood pile, it will burn long and start drying out the wood as it goes to keep that pile burning from deep inside ifnyou get it deep down.

About 8' to the right, there another Beaver in a group of trees about 3' off the ground. Can't miss his large tooth. To the right and below him it looks like 2 possible Gator heads! 🦫🦫🐊🐊🐊🐊

My friend, how much do you know about the importance of beaver dams to local hydrology and ecosystems? I used to LOVE watching dam removal videos, but I've since learned how much good a beaver dam does to nature, and I would love to share some awareness!
Flowing water feels good and sounds good, but draining it dries the land and severely impacts the ecological resilience of the area. If there are no human structures in danger of flooding, just let them do their work!
Some landowners even spend tens of thousands in building their own rock dams or beaver dam analogs / log structures to mimic beaver activity to help heal their river & riparian systems, and provide crucial habitat for fish and insects and birds!
I really encourage everyone reading this to go check out some videos on this topic. Hope to see you convert into a dam builder in the next videos... :) cheers!
