I feel you. I only came across them a year ago. I love most of their songs. Getting into some Omega Nebula but my favourite song is probably this one.

Wow, talk about a good news/bad news situation. The new song is amazing, but reading the words "swan song" was like a punch to the gut. Backbeat Soundsystem was THE band that convinced me to buy my tickets and fly to Boomtown 2019 from the US. Getting to see you twice (!!) there was easily the highlight of what was already a fantastic festival. The albums are all killer, and I love the vibe that Adjua brought to the band when she came on board. (Shout out to Zuri Aura, who were equally awesome and equally missed!)
I'm sad that this is the end and there won't be a new album, but life changes and goes on, not always in the way we would hope for. I wish you all the best of luck and look forward to listening to whatever you produce in the future, whether it's together or apart.
Aw thanks dude! Was really nice to meet you at Boomtown! I feel ya man. This band has been my life for the last 10 years, so has been really tough, but we’ve got some stuff we need to do which is gona take every ounce of our energy for a while. Never say never to new music at some point tho dude. Much love ✌️
