He listens carefully.
It seems he is genuinely trying to understand why he is who he is.
His eyes change, uncovering his desperation.
Maybe for the first time someone cares enough.
The suffering he must have experienced as a child is unfathomable to must of us.
So sad.
Yet thank God they stopped him.
For in the end he indeed was a monster.
Nothing more.
Well, if it's any consolation -- ?¿? -- he didn't go around randomly killing good people.
@bosco fix I'm somewhat inclined to agree with you. Still, he could have been an amazing good-guy... crazy parents... probably from more crazy parents...

Yup... This got me to thinking about other victims of their parents. ultimately, we're responsible for our actions... but still... ?

This could have been a great man once. I hope he repented. ... still guilty, of course. But started out, as all of us, a beautiful child.

Yup... almost like he never had a chance... He did, of course. Somewhere along the way, someone might have spoken to him... like with George Foreman or Lennox Lewis... and things could have been different. Oh well...
