That was an awesome episode. It was a pleasure to write it and I'm glad Magnus got to have some screen time. I love the idea of Bill and Ben's theme tune working for him 😀.
Yes it was a very good story and when Samantha’s words came, it reminded me of Stephen when he heard a noise and said, “That sounds like a runaway train!” That’s the same quote that I heard from King of the Railway and very familiar too
10:59 Magnus: I've seen that number somewhere before. Me: What do you mean?😳 Is that Taylor's number? Does this mean that Magnus has something to do Taylor as well?
Oh, Magnus. This is what happens when your crafty mind goes too far. I love this episode, Dom! Ross did a great job on writing for it! I hope to see more soon! And also, that ending made me wonder what's going to happen soon.
7:50-7:51 And 7:52-7:53 Backwards? In That Speed? 7:58-7:59, 8:00-8:01, 8:02-8:03 And 8:04-8:05 Look, Going Backwards Is Very Dangerous, Especially When Pulling A Heavy Train Like That!
Just a suggestion, if you ever redo your models, make sure to thin your paints when painting them and use multiple thin coats instead of one thick one. It'll keep the paint from looking chalky and make the brushstrokes far less visible.
Behind the scenes Magnus is made from a GWR 101 particularly Little Giant from the local freight set as Hornby mass produced this engine. In universe he's a freelance design but I won't go into too much detail yet.
Ok, so... running a tank engine backwards isn't actually the huge problem this video makes it out to be. In fact, some of them, like the Forney (0-4-4T or 2-4-4T wheel arrangement) were actually designed with running backwards, cab-first, specifically in mind - many were even built with low bunkers and large rear cab windows specifically for better rear visibility. Anyway, running backwards is mainly a problem with big tendered engines, due to both a severe lack of rear visibility and the fact that tenders tend to not like to be pushed.

I wonder if he'd make another episode that Thomas visit his railway.

PLEASE COME BACK STEAM RAILWAY STORIES I MISS U SO MUCH
I don't know what Magnus is all about, but he reminds me of James the red engine! I love it!
Crafty ideas always get a steamy into trouble. Good story.
Tut-tut-tut, when will that Magnus learn?
Great episode by the way!👍
Awesome Episode Dom!
It’s good to see Magnus getting some screen time
Magnus finally gets his own story in SRS.
Cheeky narrators indeed!
Magnus makes his return again
10:59 Magnus: I've seen that number somewhere before.

Amazing job man you really improved for every episode 😎👍
Cool

I fell so bad for Magnus. Now he has to sit in the works doing nothing.
9:50-9:51 I Just Hope He Will Be Forgiven Soon After That.
Great job
Magnus looks like ivo hugh
Does Magnus like Magnum ice cream?
Will Magnus ever gain any common sense?? Anyway brilliant episode Dom mate
Magnus being a tank engine was easy for engineers to look out when pulling the train backwards, that's what I'm thinking.
That was an awesome episode, Dom. Magnus always seems to get into trouble and I wonder who's number plate that is at the workshops.
Nice work
Great story as always.
9:54-9:55 He Learned His Lesson From All Of This, Didn’t He?
Imagine if Magnus met Ultra Magnus (Transformers)
7:50-7:51 And 7:52-7:53 Backwards? In That Speed?

Mr Harris:BACKWARDS????😳 IN THAT SPEED??😱
Mr. Harris’s Assistant: That’s Going To Far, Even Lazy Engines Like You. 😠
Amazing episode Dom! I wonder who was or is number 14 in the post credits?
I wonder if that post-credits scene might have something to do with Dom's past. 🤔
Doesn't the colliery have a turntable or a y switch junction so that way Magnus can turn around?

14...
This is very good but I thought tank engines can go backwards
Stuck in the yard eh??😏
Another amazing episode, and I wanted to ask you this for a long time. What is Magnus based off of?
It looks like he is based on the same engines as Sadie with modifications
To make him look different

Ok fair enough@@TankEngine97
