Buses and Trams at Edinburgh Bus Station/York Place 22/04/2024

Includes a lot of Citylink and Megabus coaches, two National Express ones, regular buses from Borders Buses and Lothian and TFE trams. All taken at both St Andrew Square Bus Station and York Place, Edinburgh on 22nd April 2024.

I have seen that new megabus double decker a few times now i have to try and get on it!

The new Megabus 9700 DDs are mainly used on the M11 and M20 between Glasgow/Edinburgh and London but I've seen photos of them on the 909 Edinburgh - Stirling sometimes. Four Citylink-liveried ones are to be out on the road soon I believe for routes within Scotland. I too am anticipating a ride on these whenever I can!

Having Visted Edinburgh over the The Years (56yrs & Counting, From Aberdeen & The Highlands) Mostly By Bus, it will Be A Shame to See The old Bus Station Go.

My Wife Is Born & Bred from Edinburgh, I’m Originally from Perth then On to Aberdeen. We Both Know this Bus station from our Young Days & Are Disgusted that after Reading More that it’s to Be Sold For So Called !! Houses.
No Way Can This Happen, my Understanding is that if this Goes Ahead a Temporay Bus Station will Be at Park & Ride near The Forth Road Bridge.
We Need to Stop This !!

Iv Been Reading that this Bus Station will no Longer Be in Use in the Coming Years, Where Will the Next Edinburgh Bus Station Be ?
