HARVALEM WATERFALL | GOA

Arvelem Caves - These caves are believed to have been carved in the 6th century. The origins of the caves have been speculated upon by scholars time and time again. Due to the duality of the carvings and artefacts in the caves, they have narrowed this down to two possibilities that they are either of Buddhist origin or Brahmin origin.
Aarvelim Waterfall - The Arvalem waterfall, with a height of just 50m and a width of 7m, is a popular tourist spot and picnic location in Goa, especially during the monsoon season, when the falls are a gushing torrent hurtling madly into the lake below. Although it is not as imposing a sight as the famous Dudhsagar falls, it is less strenuous and easier to get to than the Dudhsagar falls, making it the perfect choice for a fun trip with family and friends.
