Great build by all involved but the best part of the video was Paul's face after the run. Priceless! Keep these videos coming Paul, we love them. Stay safe, David.
I think you are quite pleased with that! What a lovely locomotive the chaps have done a wonderful job. Hope you get many happy running hours. Many thanks for sharing.

@@GalgormHall As a youngster in the 70’s and 80’s I was all over the island at train events. My dad and his twin were quite well known in the train community at the time as they were ‘The Twins’ from Bangor. On a Saturday we often took the train together to Belfast or on up to Whitehead. Or to the Folk and transport museum 😊 In my teenage rebellious years I swapped from trains to ´planes! Now in my middle age my love for the railways has reignited and I’ve several projects on the go. I live in NE France now which has a strong railway heritage with the recently voted most beautiful station in Europe in Metz. It’s also where the trains must swap which side they run on. So, do I model an Irish line, a French line or a German line? Alors, Je ne sais pas! Help! 😂😂😂
@@bugler75 good to see you’ve returned from the dark side. 😆 As to your predicament it’s hard to call. Some of the period french stuff is exquisite looking with their very French curved looks, like an old Citroen on rails. Then again, if you’ve grown up surrounded by Irish rail then that’s got to be appealing too and the Germans know a thing or two about producing top quality product in the model railway world. It wouldn’t be a huge leap to combine both French and German being so close to the border but with that all being in HO scale it does rule out the Irish option. None of this has been any help of course I but it’s there for you to juggle with your other thoughts. Paul

Fantastic Paul!!! That's one proud and happy grin you have to go with a beautiful model there.... Love what your doing by bringing Irish stock into Galgorm...😎

Paul, I can certainly see why you are over the moon with this project. You, Eric and Tim have all done a first rate job in modelling the NIR Class 101, together with the coaches. I thoroughly enjoyed this video and not being very familiar with the Irish Railway scene, I believe your models breathe a breath of fresh air into the hobby. Your progress on the scenery is sure paying off, the running sessions are really coming to life!
¡Hola buenas tardes Paul! I’ve seen that grinning face before however, I believe there was an extra sparkle in the eyes this time? You certainly have every reason to be happy - an amazing build and, a very smart result. Following your link to Eric’s video, his enthusiasm for the hobby shines through in his explanations and excellent running session. Shame we didn’t get to see more of the actual painting and, for me especially , the lighting installation. However, a fascinating couple of videos. As ever, stay safe and well my friend. Un saludo. Once I saw the price of the ready to run NIR Hunslet I realised why you went for the resin body! It would have been a shame, not to mention hard work, to cut off the detailed Bachmann battery box. Really nice modelling job from the whole "team"! ;-)
