I want to mention, don't use the flame/torch with the alcohol layer! Or you will go boom. 🔥 But I do torch with all other layers. 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it’s AWESOME!!! ❤️🤗❤️
You're very welcome! Someone needs to show me their results pleaseeeee lol.. thanks for watching!
I have those exact bezzles (sp) and sand I brought home from the beach in California from my 10th anniversary. I am so excited to try this. I just subbed and saved this video in my favorites. I am going to try and copy you to step by step and make myself a necklace. I have an entire bottle of sand so enough to make a few mistakes! Thank you so much for this!!!
You don't need much sand at all. I probably used less than a tablespoon for all of these!!! I hope you make something beautiful!! Thank you for your kind comments and good luck!!
These are great! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching and your compliment! ☺️
Oh, these are so pretty and exactly what I wanted to see.
So glad you like them!! Thanks you!! 😊
Oh my gosh! Ive made ocean wave cells with epoxy resin never knew i could use uv! Yay thanks for sharing
You're welcome. Hope you try it.
🎉This was great! Thanks for sharing 😊
You're welcome, I appreciate you watching and your feedback.
WOW, those are gorgeous, Thank you
Thanks so much. Hope you try some. Still waiting to see if anyone has and how they turned out...!! 🤔
Excellent tutorial! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
These are beautiful! But I would say don’t use your bare skin to wipe off any resin, you can build up an allergy to it over time!
I did my nails for five years with UV Nail gel and just getting gel on the sidewall of my nails or wiping off the sticky layer and getting that on my skin made me build up an allergy.. when I do them now my fingers will itch terribly for days if I get even I drop of it near my skin!
Idk if this stuff would do the same but just be careful and wipe it off with the alcohol! Happy crafting!
Definitely good advice...you can wear gloves if you're super messy. I try not to touch it, but if I do, I wipe it with alcohol on paper towel or you can use a baby wipe.
Gorgeous!!❤❤❤ them!!
Really appreciate that, thank you!!
Lovely.
Thanks Laurie.
Beautiful!!!❤
Thanks. The spray is the trick!!
Wow! I have never been able to get that wave effect, but I will definitely try out your technique. Thank you so much for sharing your tips. Beautiful work ❤
@@appleoneill5135 hope this helps. Lmk.
Really nice. Going to try. ❤❤❤
Thanks!! Please let me know how they end up. I'd love to see too, find me on FB or Instagram. Good luck and have fun.
Very cute❤
Thank you very much!! I appreciate it.
Nice.😊
Thank you Lisa. Hope you try it!
very nice
Thank you very much.
Magical!❤ New subscriber here. Thanks!
appreciate that, thank you!!
I'm curious what that white would look like if you blew on it with a straw to spread it. I've seen that a few times for 'beach' resin creations.
Good thinking, never tried it. 🤔
These are cool. I'm surprised the sand cures in the UV.
Do thin layers and mix the sand with clear resin only. Then the light can penetrate and cure.
These are so freaking cute!!
& it’s isoProPyl alcohol. No f’s in it 😉😂🌊💕
Lolol thanks. Words are hard... I talk wrong in real life too. I'll try to say it correctly from now on, but I can't promise. Thanks again, glad you watched. 😊
@@noreasonjustresin They are right?! I swear the older I get the more ding bat moments I have 😂 & hey say anything you want any way you want. I just appreciate if someone tells me (kinda like having something in your teeth) but what you choose to do after is up to you! 😊 But all that aside, I really hope you do more ocean themed resin pieces! I love your videos ☺️
Edit: also you mind sharing what brands & colors of pigments you used? I love those colors!
I do appreciate you telling me so I can improve and sound smarter in the future - lol!! But anyway, I just tried to add the links in the description as well, but here... Hopefully I'm doing this right! I'm just learning as I go.

How do you make the white part for the waves?
I mix a VERY LITTLE amount of white pigment with clear resin.
This is a great video thank you! I’ve watched it at least 3 times and read all the comments. I’m still not clear on when to use the UV light …. Are you curing under the lamp between each coat or each application of a different color or just when you sprayed alcohol on the white? How long to you use the UV lamp for? Thank you!
I went ahead and tried it. Everything has worked like a charm except the cells in the white! I’ve tried with acrylic titanium white in resin and white mica powder in resin, 91% alcohol spritz and immediately cured. No cells ! 😢
Any ideas?
@epringle3769 I wonder if it needs to be a thick pigment paste. The UV light is to cure. Whenever I use it, I do a full cure, but I cut it out to save time for the video. I cure between layers. About 2-3 mins.
Hello! I'm from Russia. What did you spray in a transparent jar to make beautiful waves?
91% isopropyl alcohol. Hi from USA
@@noreasonjustresin❤Thank you very much
Why every time I do Au V? Resent poor and it's very very thin. Does it end up sticky?
Could be poor resin quality or incorrect wattage of lamp so it's not curing correctly. I really recommend Let's Resin UV Resin, and they are affordable.
can the alcohol spray be 99% or does it have to be 91%?
I think 99% would be good too, but I've never tried that. Gotta test it on one and see what happens.
What is the purpose of the spray of alcohol?
It creates cells.
New sub here from Spokane Valley Wa 😊 what watt uv light do you use???
I use a 72w UV lamp. This one is kinda neat because it starts off kinda low, then the light seems to brighten as time passes. Gets brighter. This is the one I am using www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B093G9ZKQQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
@@noreasonjustresin Thank You Soooo Much! I couldn't find one with a plug in the wall. Only could find USB :) I have wanted plug in the wall so much! Have a Beautiful week. :)
@@ResinNGlitter this is my favorite light so far. It's perfect. Glad I could help! :) (I also added the link to my description.)
REALLY, Resin tape does NOT cost that much and it would save you from having to rub off that sticky tape residue.
I'm gonna hafta get me some!! Lol. Thanks for the tip.
@@noreasonjustresin temu has it cheap
@@rosedolch8637 never ordered from there. But I shop Amazon too much lolol
