Horford’s got one more year but his cap hit drops by something like 20M, he’ll be back on something reasonable if they don’t win it this year. Pritchard’s got 3 more years too just for good measure.

@@youngmelo1841Denver keeping the core together multiple seasons is vital for developing chemistry. LA keeps retooling around Bron and AD each year and wonders why they lost the last 8 in a row to Denver. Cohesion matters. Look at the Spurs dynasty, or even the Warriors dynasty.

Also with Dallas adding PJ and Gafford has given their offense and defense another gear that’s allowed them to win games despite shooting horribly from 3. They’re playing like a more capable team on both ends of the floor.
With a healthy Bron I could see that lakers/Den series go 7. I'm a kawhi fan so I'm hoping he can make another finals. I would love Celtics vs Clips or if kawhi can't do it, at least celtics vs Mavs

As a Lakers fan, I think the Nuggets are winning in 4. I have no faith in the Lakers at all, I don't trust Darvin Ham, I think he's a fraud especially against the Nuggets. The Lakers needed to show more initiative throughout the season to avoid this repeat scenario and that never happened. So now, since the Lakers really had to fight to get into the playoffs, I think that's really going to show in the first round. I think Denver just has their number.

Nice bracket. I pretty much agree with all of your picks. I think Orlando beats Cleveland. I also think the mavs lose to the nuggets, but I’m only 5 games. Can’t wait for the playoffs to start!
I too think the Mavericks will beat the Clippers in 6. I think with Kawhi's uncertainty combined with Harden's history of underperforming will be the biggest reasons for this "upset". I think Paul George will be the Clippers only light this series, but it'll eventually subside. I also think the Mavericks want this matchup more, I've believed since 2020 that the Mavericks were the better team if Luka had another reliable option.

Nuggets - Celtics will be the finals.
I still have the Nuggets, likely in 6. They'll be way more exhausted in finals compared to Celtics, though. IF Celtics wins, it's because of the rest advantage they'll have gotten along the way in a weak East.
That could be a disadvantage for Boston to since the West is tougher the Nuggets are more battled tested going into the finals
@@rohangupte3545 then again: do the Nuggets really have to be tested still? I'd argue they know what they're doing and would get the job done more easily if their path to finals was less challenging.
