Hopefully their airframes are suffering from 18 months of combat without free access to spare parts because of sanctions. Plus the fact that many experienced pilots have been killed and replaced by rookies.

A Su-30 fighter jet crashed during a training flight in the Kaliningrad region today. The crew of the aircraft was killed, the press service of the Western Military District said.
The Su-30 that crashed in the Kaliningrad region became the eighth combat aircraft to crash in Russia since the beginning of 2023.
In early February, an Su-25 attack aircraft crashed in the Belgorod region after carrying out a combat mission. The pilot was killed.
In April, a MiG-31 fighter jet crashed in the Murmansk region, but the pilots managed to eject. In May, a Russian Air Force air group, including Mi-8 helicopters, a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35 fighter, crashed in the Bryansk region. Nine people were killed in this crash.
During the Wagner PMC mutiny on 24 June, a Russian Air Force Il-22M was shot down in the Voronezh region. All 10 crew members died.
In July, a MiG-31 fighter jet crashed in the Kamchatka region, and an Su-25 attack aircraft fell into the Sea of Azov near the town of Yeisk.
So, these "accidents" took out more planes than Ukrainian air defense ?

I guess this was their first time taking off, but the training didn't go as far as landing.
They definitely landed.
If I had to guess, flight control issue, possibly jackscrew or equivalent (control horizontal tail control surfaces, didn't seem to try to pull out of the descent. Probably too low to eject effectively.

Losing the crew hurts more than losing the plane. Judging by their performance, they were one of Russia's best.
They did fly straight for a few hundred feet.
Pilot blacked out on a barrel roll I would say is most likely. And that it looks like su30s have a major flaw, no G control. Engines sounded fine all through and no signs they failed. "Pilot Error".

That doesn't look like technical difficulties. That looks like pilot error. He rolled too far and couldn't correct before crashing at that altitude. They were student pilots.
