Love the review, once again I'm watching this while waiting for delivery of this item. Just want to see if I've made a good decision after I've already purchased. Sierra Destgns was a top of the line co. back in the 60's-70's. That is why I went with them. Thanks for reassuring me on my decision.
Love the review and this is a such a under the radar tent. Thanks for a comprehensive overview. I am looking at this for motorcycle camping where size more than weight matter. This one at 4lbs is not too heavy and the pack down size looks like it will fit my application very well. Thanks again and love the doggie. Keep up the great work 👍👌
Great review, I ended up picking up this tent because of your thoughts. Colors don't bother me much. I've been meaning to take a trip to Bend, so now I think I'll have to check out Sisters and McKenzie Pass as well!
Do you stake out the fly corners with the same stakes as the tent body? I have this tent but haven’t used it and it’s packed up in the gear locker until the spring. I thought the rest of the included stakes are for the guy lines. Thanks for your comprehensive review.
@@TheTrailDancer it was your review plus Luke's that led me to buy this tent. I can't wait to use it. Did you buy the mini-Groundhog MRS stakes or the longer ones?
@@cdncarol I have both the mini and reg size. Depending on the weather, I'll use them where needed. This tent is FREAKIN amazing. I made the investment of the groundsheet as well. :) Thanks for watching! :)
Senior Hiker 77 ya, it’s definitely not the lightest tent, especially compared to a single wall, trekking pole, Dyneema tent. As will all tents when you go light, durability becomes an issue. For me personally, I don’t like the condensation of single wall tents. I guess that’s why there are so many options. Lol Gear is such a personal choice.. Thanks for watching the review!!!!!

@@bernielamont825 it’s a great tent if you like room! I’ve had it put in narly conditions and all good!
Same! 😅
Had to go find my phone where I'm logged in to RUclips so I could like and comment for the algorithm.
Awesome, cheers

Thanks so much for your kind words!!! Ya, I love this tent and the size is crazy for a two person! Super underrated!!!
Good review, was looking at this tent...
It’s very good!! One of my favs and highly underrated!
ya, my first real backpack bought in the early 90's for me was the Gregory Palisade(green) still have it and use it. What an amazing backpack!
Word!!! Gregory always flies under the radar! There are a lot of great packs from the big box companies. 😃

Awesome...Please let me know what you think.. it's a stellar tent... Luke of TOGR also loves it. :)
Seems like a great tent. I haven't used a Sierra Designs tent yet but it looks great!
Ya I’ve owned a few and they are super nice tents (not their new Target line)! They usually have great sales, so even better.

Yes, the extra stakes are for the guylines. However, I purchased a set of MSR Groundhogs for the tent. I really love this tent; highly underrated!

Thanks, very nice review. 3~4 lbs. just a little to heavy. I've had SD tents before and enjoyed them. Atb
