Love your channel, finally you called the wheel, tire and rim, properly. Great job on the Mini Truck! Some day you should "Rhino Coat" the bed no more rust spots.
Came from japan , they were filler in a container between the trucks . They are like brand new and we’re mounted on stock Suzuki rims . They flat spot over night and take 10 mins to smooth out if not driven in a week . Bias plys make these trucks handle horrendously bad with street tread. My 1st JDM truck had them . Hey man, love watching the build! Thanks for sharing! I have an early 90s DD51T Suzuki Carry. In exchange for stealing your front winch bumper idea (was going to build mine from scratch), let me share my wheel/tire combo. I bought a set of Kenati Mongrel 25x8-12 tires and had them mounted to ITP SS316 wheels on the Cat bolt pattern...direct fit. Got all 4 delivered mounted for about $650. With a 2" lift on the Carry, I had to trim the fenders/doors a bit to clear. The tires are AWESOME! 10 ply DOT tire with a rib to protect the rim. IMO, they are way better than the tractor tire pattern you've been using except maybe in super soupy mud. Great on pavement, mud, and snow...plus a way better load rating than most UTV tires. Let me know if you want pics or the website where I bought my setup. And thanks again for sharing your mods!
@@MotoCheez, glad I could help. You may not have to trim since I think your wheel arches are bigger than mine. I only shaved a 1/2” or so off each corner and that's with a tired front suspension. Just seal the door with a quick weld or body filler and touch up paint.

TY, I have the 24x8-12 SunR tires on stock wheels for this video when I put them on the mags it rubbed and I did not want to cut my fender so I put them back on the steelies. I'm still looking for something to put on those mag wheels like a street Tire for the road. Then I'll have two sets. I'll check out your RUclips channel And subscribe!
@@MotoCheez I just check the size of mine and they are 22x7x12 sunf. do you think it will run if i use them on the same rims you have or is it the width that caused the rubbing?
On a stock rims I could use 24s but I have a 2 inch lift. If I use the mag wheels I can't use the sun F tires because they rub but 23s did fit with the mag wheels and did not rub
Probably could retrofit something. I looked real quick a while back didn't see anything, I was thinking taking mine apart and printing a vinyl MPH overlay on the current speedo cluster
The people who are offended by a guy swearing while he's working on his BOSS mini truck (occasionally while drinking with friends) clearly have nothing better to do with their lives. Don't listen to these pussies, my dude! Keep on doing you! It's just part of your charm! To hell with the haters.
The vans aren't as much fun as the trucks, in that you can fit almost anything ridiculously big on the truck bed and pretty much work. The vans are awesome for challenging yourself to build the tiniest single person RV with as much of the trimmings as a regular RV. That's running water, grey tank, bed and kitchenette. Or build a rolling bluetooth speaker by stuffing the entire back with audio equipment. Anyone can build one out of wood, let's see how many can build one out of a Hijet van.
That is true, and I've seen the Bambi camper tops that go on top of these hijet and they are cool as hell. as soon as the weather breaks I want to build one out of Luan and cover it and paint it makes a little camper top
Any idea when/if any of the ones 25 years old have the fuel injection?also that dynamat works good,I had a Baja bug that was noisy as hell and a thick layer of the DIY roll on bed liner on the inside worked good for me,makes the inside indescribable also.
When you buy another trailer check out the sure Trac galvanized dual axle 16ft. it's cheap and works good. dual axle brakes don't rust if you don't gouge it.
The bolt on style tracks have a different ratio than the tires, so you can't miss mismatched them oh, the style that you drive your tire into woodwork on the back and tires on the front
We're in different states, but I'd be REALLY interested to know how you got plates. Did you get a title with yours? Bought mine for"off road use only" with Bill of sale only, but would love to plate it.
when are you building something cool for storage under drivers side bed? four wheeler hitch haul rack cut in half and mounted in that space? I wanna do it but am waiting for you to work out all the logistics and the how to video
Actually went to an army surplus store today to find a box for under the bed and they didn't have any so looking online at the ridiculous amount of money to ship those the next show coming up is in about a week and they should have them. I decided not to go with the front rack only because of the added weight. Maybe if I get heavier springs
I don't think they make these in left hand drive, I saw that people in the Philippines convert mm over but it's a huge big job. Honestly it only takes about five minutes and you used to driving on the right and shifting with your left hand
MotoCheez looks like fun. have you seen the jeep look a like ? i can't remember who makes them but looks like the old amy jeeps. i saw it on youtube. they said it's not street legal .
Yeah the mahindra's, I did look at those they're pretty expensive like $15,000 and you can't put them on a road. And they don't have a work bed for hauling stuff like wood and clean up. But they are pretty cool looking
i saw your first video where you hauled the KEI truck home on a 5x10 trailer. I have a Big Tex 5x8. will it fit if i get the front over the bar,and remove the gate?
@@MotoCheez The size of the current Kei Car is 3400 mm in length, 1480 mm in width, 2000 mm in height. The main change is to make safety performance equivalent to standard passenger cars. Therefore, semi-cab-forward style become mainstream at the expense of the minimum turning radius.
Hey i know you dont really seem to do much on the hawk anymore, but i asked in the past about the rear brake light switch. Any clue what a good replacement would be? Preferably a metal one.
I will do some more hawk videos once the weather breaks here, it's cold and crappy. I would think any Honda rear brake light switch would work, I'm not sure if their metal though I think they're all plastic.

@@MotoCheez thanks can you tell me where to get the rims that you have?
goo.gl/fWJuxP ITP wheels
I wonder if you could get a digital dash cluster, then you would be able to use MPH. Just a thought. Enjoying the series down here in Australia.
Probably could retrofit something. I looked real quick a while back didn't see anything, I was thinking taking mine apart and printing a vinyl MPH overlay on the current speedo cluster
I love these videos man they are amazing...I'm looking for one to do a project like this
👍👍👍 awesome! Get one
love these vids
😄👍👍 TY
The people who are offended by a guy swearing while he's working on his BOSS mini truck (occasionally while drinking with friends) clearly have nothing better to do with their lives. Don't listen to these pussies, my dude! Keep on doing you! It's just part of your charm! To hell with the haters.
Thanks bruh!!🔥🔥
Curious about the front bumper, can you share details? Keep up the good work.
Thanks. Links in description, if they're ng MotoCheez.com.
You should get the van version.
I want one!!
John Miller Gonna need more ⏱⏱ and💰💰💰💰 so like, share, sub☑️
What's up mini truck?! Those mini nuts 😂
Whooa oooh oooh! Lol. Ya, Vee is a funny guy
@@MotoCheez can we get "what's up mini truck?" t shirts?
We can..... That's a great idea!🔥🔥 I have a friend who owns a printing company I'll have to see what he'll charge for a small run
@@MotoCheez do them in black with white text and the white mini truck ✔️💯
You get a free one for the suggestion!
Now it's time to paint those rusty wiper arms.
😁 maybe in the next video
Here here!! Rusty wiper arms TOTALLY date the vehicle. I've had GREAT results (6yrs+) with VHT's gloss black engine paint from AutoZone.
I like the OE rims best. That is a cool little truck. I need to get one of those it’s cooler than a VW rabbit truck and I hated saying that.
I agree like the rims tucked in a bit. Thanks!!
Haha. About the rabbit truck 😄😄😄
No regrets subscribing to this channel. What's up mini truck?
TY! Woooh oooh oooh
Luv ur humor
Thanks!!
Any idea when/if any of the ones 25 years old have the fuel injection?also that dynamat works good,I had a Baja bug that was noisy as hell and a thick layer of the DIY roll on bed liner on the inside worked good for me,makes the inside indescribable also.
Good question, I don't really know but I'd imagine by 95 or 96
I had a Suzuki SK 306 you can put on 13" starmags they will fit with a 205 /50
👍
wheel size your looking for? or bolt spacing? I know you mentioned something for Mazda?
I'd like to get a tire that's 22 or 23 inch diameter the wheels have a bolt pattern of 4 x 110 mm and the backset 3 or 4 inches
Oh and I want them to be semi-aggressive kind of like a mud tire at least a snow tire
When you buy another trailer check out the sure Trac galvanized dual axle 16ft. it's cheap and works good. dual axle brakes don't rust if you don't gouge it.
fuckum how many times do you try to get in on the wrong side
Half a dozen times so far lol
have you considered putting tracks on the back instead of wheels
The bolt on style tracks have a different ratio than the tires, so you can't miss mismatched them oh, the style that you drive your tire into woodwork on the back and tires on the front
There is a ex seal that has one and he has coconuts on the back of the truck here in the Philippines
😁😁👍 I've never seen those
You could probably step up to a 14" or 15" wheel if you want road tires
👍🏻👍🏻
We're in different states, but I'd be REALLY interested to know how you got plates. Did you get a title with yours? Bought mine for"off road use only" with Bill of sale only, but would love to plate it.
Did you have to get adapters or what is the lug pattern of the rim?
I got the proper rims. The specs are in description. I believe it was 4x100... Been a while
when are you building something cool for storage under drivers side bed? four wheeler hitch haul rack cut in half and mounted in that space? I wanna do it but am waiting for you to work out all the logistics and the how to video
Actually went to an army surplus store today to find a box for under the bed and they didn't have any so looking online at the ridiculous amount of money to ship those the next show coming up is in about a week and they should have them. I decided not to go with the front rack only because of the added weight. Maybe if I get heavier springs
You meet the nicest balls on a mini-truck 👍
😄
can you get them with the wheel on the correct side? that right side thing would f me up.
I don't think they make these in left hand drive, I saw that people in the Philippines convert mm over but it's a huge big job. Honestly it only takes about five minutes and you used to driving on the right and shifting with your left hand
MotoCheez
looks like fun. have you seen the jeep look a like ? i can't remember who makes them but looks like the old amy jeeps. i saw it on youtube. they said it's not street legal .
Yeah the mahindra's, I did look at those they're pretty expensive like $15,000 and you can't put them on a road. And they don't have a work bed for hauling stuff like wood and clean up. But they are pretty cool looking
Pro tips for rims, ATV's haves 12 inch rims and they have 4×110 ;) and hankook have 145r12c truck street tires
I have a set of ITP,, I'd need a narrower set... These are 7" wide
After watching a ton of these...I swear this is like 10 different trucks...
*Also, everybody sounds like Ray Liota from "Goodfellas".
😆😆😆👍👍👍
Try summit Racing for street tires.
1st, awesome mini truck, 2nd love the vlog, 3rd, was the 13 feet 5 inches the radius or diameter of that turning circle?
Diameter! It's a tight circle!
How much do you want for that old Suzuki Samurai? Is it diesel or gas and is it manual
Gas 5 speed, it's my son's, was his first car I have to him. He wants to restore it!
i saw your first video where you hauled the KEI truck home on a 5x10 trailer. I have a Big Tex 5x8. will it fit if i get the front over the bar,and remove the gate?
Kei Trucks until 1998 have length less than 3300mm and wheelbase less than 1900mm.
Thanks, what is the size rule now?
It would probably work, just make sure the load rating will haul 1500 lbs.
Thank you.
Wow that really takes balls!
Right?
Hey i know you dont really seem to do much on the hawk anymore, but i asked in the past about the rear brake light switch. Any clue what a good replacement would be? Preferably a metal one.
I will do some more hawk videos once the weather breaks here, it's cold and crappy. I would think any Honda rear brake light switch would work, I'm not sure if their metal though I think they're all plastic.
@@MotoCheez okay cool thank you man. Appreciate it
@@MotoCheez protip be careful if you have big feet when you kick start. Shit breaks in one shot lmao
YW, there will be more hawk videos as soon as the weather better!!

It's a mechanic's swear. Some things don't work correctly until you swear at them. 🤗
Fukin' aye right!! 🔥🔥🔥

Yesssss, live you're name.
