Anita Gillette, as Quincy's psychologist friend, comes off even more annoyingly self righteous than Quincy, if that's possible. This episode is like a PMRC recruitment video. "What could persuade a kid to act like that?" "Maybe the greatest persuader there is.....MUSIC!"
My favorite part of this is the lyric: "Next stop, nowhere, I wanna get off." You can just tell that the scriptwriter saw the picture sleeve of the Sex Pistols Pretty Vacant/No Fun single and was inspired by the 'bus-to-nowhere' image! Ha ha ha. Too funny.
the song is by 'anarchy 6'. the script writer had nothing to do with the lyrics other perhaps than choosing this song for the show. ruclips.net/video/GR4IYkcDx4c/видео.html
Back then we did NOT call that a "mosh pit" They did get it right on this show when they said "slam dancing". We used to say "slam pit" or "slam circle". The "mosh pit" or "moshing"crap talk came with the advent of Speed Metal.

You tell 'em!! I hate it when someone tells us how to be a "punk". I am so glad that you won't do that. You are by far the oldest punk here! Will you teach us how to be a real punk?? Please.
Man I used to watch Queasy constantly and never saw this punk episode. Funny how he is talking to the woman but they don't have to yell. Not a very loud hardcore gig for sure.
The song was written for the TV show by Sam Egan, who is a prolific TV sci-fi writer ("The LIstener" and "The Outer Limits (1997)" are his best known credits).

this is the greatest punk rock I've ever seen!!!!

"Punk" chick: "Hey, you work here?"
Quincy: "I'm with the Coroner's Office."

Possibly the greatest line ever.
Next stop....
Episode of the LOVE BOAT...
Pat Smear is supposed to be an extra in this scene. Can't seem to find him. ANYONE?
I like how the guitars aren't plugged in! Great tone!
Unfortunately, Quince succumbs to the greatest persuader of all - and in the next scene he’s crowd-surfing (with bloody nose/broken ribs) 😂

The "punch in the face" Hollywood sound effects every time they show the pit! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Bring on the band PAIN!
“Pain” is more punk, this is more hardcore punk
The band from Chips? With potato head the bass player. He was practicing until his fingers bleed. I dig pain, it's the feeling in my brain.
That guy in the mosh pit had a bloody nose. Quincy didn't even offer any medical assistance.
treedisguise guy wasnt dead yet.....

That's a very brightly lit club
you are not supposed to notice that
Who would win in a Battle of the Bands, these guys or Pain from the CHiPs punk rock episode?
Mark Speck Don't forget about the Dickies showing up on CPO SHARKEY.
What?!? I used to watch that show, and I don't remember that.
...and the "I Hate You" song from the Star Trek movie.
Mark Speck pain hands down .
Mark Speck snow pink rules
Anarchy 6!!!!!!
for those of you who are not up to speed the song is an anarchy six song.. DUH!!!
THANK YOU!
It was on this show first.

Classic episode. Can't wait for the DVD of this season to come out.
"Coroner's Office". Why didn't I think of that band name?
on the plus side this episode would inspired SNFU to write the song "Real Men Don't Watch Quincy", which is rocking!
Isn't there a band called "Quincy Punx"? And I think someone has covered this song. Musically it is not bad
@@petervollan9286 Perhaps. I hope it was covered by a band called The Coroners Office.
The words in the songs were written by the shows writers.
actually, they were written by anarchy six - ruclips.net/video/GR4IYkcDx4c/видео.html
Not true at all. Anarchy 6 wrote this song.

R.I.P. Quincy.
Song made me so rebellious
I just consumed another bag
of gummy bears !!!
When is Sid Vicious going to show Up?
He'd already "got off" as Mayhem put it by this point.
Anyone else come here from Conan and Jake Tapper talking about Quincy?
That's actually a pretty good example of West Coast hardcore c.1981. It would not be out of place on the Germs' "(GI)" or GG's "Always Shall Be".
Although GG wasn't West Coast...
You're right! It actually would not sound out of place at all on an early GG album.
@@OneTheBlueGGs first album definitely

as jokey and cheesey as this band are they sure are better than fall out boy mcr and all the rest of their type

Think the song title comes from the sex pistols tour bus?
Did they sing a song called do a bump ??it was not the same one as this that I do know.

Queen b of Santa Monica BLVD?
@Nietzschesaurus I know! If this were an actual band that tried to play in a punk club, they'd be booed off the stage and possibly assaulted!!
No way...the fact that yr calling it a punk club...I mean...come on mom
I doubt it.
Which one's Pat Smear? Doesn't look like he's in the band, must be moshing.

Hard to believe but I have definitely heard worse 😄
Anita Gillette is a cute punk lady haha on her time off 😀
