I came across your channel today. I have also decided to move back to my home country in a few months time. Agriculture is one of the businesses I am targeting and I have to say your channel has been an inspiration. We need more minds like you in Africa who will use their business and strategy knowledge and experiences to solve the perennial issues that have been hindering the growth of our countries. Keep it up.

You are doing a fine job Bayo, I think the story is the same everywhere in Nigeria, inflation is indeed crazy, I was telling someone some time ago that when I started planting oil palm in 2019 fuel for my van to and fro my house to the farm was N2500 now I spend N12000 for the same distance. same with other inputs. Pineapple, Cassava, and Plantain are not really cash crops You need to come to the real cash crops, oil palm, Cocoa, Coconut, etc., especially oil palm, One advantage is that you can intercrop oil palm with pineapple and plantain in between the space in the early 3 years of the plantation.

I want to do this farming thing: crop, pigs, and garri processing, meat processing if not too expensive.
However, the hands-on angle is my stumbling block.
I'll only be in Nigeria for 4 to 5 months next year.
Do you plan on integrating animals? And what is the minimum to invest in your farming processes?
