I've been saving 1 and a half patches, for Fugue. I already have a solid Superbreak team, but Fugue seems to be better at Superbreak support than Harmony Trailblazer, and I need to free up Harmony Trailblazer so I can either have a second Superbreak team for stuff like MoC, or have the MC use the Remembrance Path after they get it. Since you can't have MC using the powers of more than one Path at the same time, nor can you have them serve two teams at the same time for challenges like MoC. As useful as Sunday is for a potential summon-based meta, I find Sunday dull and boring in the story, and he's a half-patch behind Fugue, so me as a F2P player who never spends real money on gatcha games, have to skip him if I want Fugue. I skipped Robin on her first running of her gatcha for a similar reason, although she's a great character, I had to skip her for Firefly, since me both losing and winning the 50/50 in the same phase I likely cannot repeat. Don't get me wrong, Robin is cute, but I had to skip her initially, so that I could get Firefly on her initial running. Now for Sunday, I have to skip him too, so that I can save up to eliminate as much chance of not getting Fugue before she leaves, and the fact that Fugue likely will be added as a playable character, on Christmas, is very interesting
pull for Fugue even I don't have Firefly, I collecting all Nihility chara and build team around them, for Fugue can use her with Himeko or maybe for Linghsa break dps with double superbreak buff enabler with HMC.
For Fugue i am going rappa, her, Gallagher, and Himeko team, my question is if you are using the BTTB LC for EHR, what main body stat would you think be best. Since you mentioned HP/Def for the orb. Would it be a similar situation to how people build HMC?
As a Himeko main, so happy to see the Skill buffs! I can now bring my favorite character everywhere!!!! But also still wanting to pull for The Herta, so hoping for an early Fugue
I am so so excited for her. Allowing universal breaks is so useful to clear content, especially if you don't have a lot of characters to match elements. Defense shreds, exotoughness, superbreak enabler. All around very universal character.

I think there should be a showcase for Fugue in a Super Break team without HMC nor Ruan Mei. Because somewhere down the line, there would be an account without Ruan Mei and prbably the MC taken another path like Rememberance in another team. Personally I'd like to see how Fugue/Tingyun stands on its own on a Super Break.
Im torn between Sunday and fugue, Sunday is mainly supportive of summoners and I do want castorice later, but, fugue can enable everyone to superbreak . And better with Herta I think.
He does way more than be a summoner support. i pulled for him and omg he made my old Imbibitor Lunae nice and shiny again. he buffs the shiz out of hyper carry dps too. my friends Acheron is still swinging with whats meta right now too.

26 pity and 100 less than 12,000 steler jades (or in other words enough to get to max pity if it takes that long). I am a bit Nervous bc I used my granite limited 5 star on Rappa but honestly worth it considering I have e1 Ruan Mei and e6 Gallaghar. Also with e1 Himeko and her LC and of course Acheron and her LC (Got both of them on April fools day lol). Easy pull for me. I was going for E1 Sunday, lost the 50/50 to Himeko, was more happy that I lost so I could get a guarantee Fugue. Skipping all of 3.0 characters makes this easy as well.
Skipping all of 3.0? Like all of them? Cause if you play endgame you're going to need a lot of prayer to clear them on 3.0 with the amount of HP they added lol. They're pretty much power creeping all of 1.0 and 2.0 characters except sunday.

Omg, thank you devs! I was just going to pull on her cause Tingyun was my favorite girl in the whole HSR series cause I love fox girls, but after seeing her kit. Oh, I have to have Fugue even more now. Not only do I feel like they made Tingyun's design better with Fugue, but her kit is awesome. I mean that whole allow characters to reduce toughness of enemies that aren't weak to them. That will make it so much easier to break enemies and make characters so much more effective. For example, Ruan Mei is great on break teams but it does suck when I use my break team against enemies that have fire and imaginary weakness but no ice weakness. It makes so Ruan Mei is only there for buffs then, but.. With Fugue, she can actually contribute to breaking enemies toughness bar now. I'm glad Moon brought up the whole Himeko thing cause despite her not being top tier dps. She was my first five star and I honestly love her, and with Fugue now she can have her follow up attack more easily triggered now. But yeah, I'm really loving this kit of hers. I was just going to pull her cause I love the character, but the kit makes her even more of a must pull now for me. I'm not sure if other people will agree with me, but I think she might be a must for F2P players especially new players cause of her skill allowing allies to break enemies toughness even when they are not weak to that character. I say that cause a lot of new players aren't going to have a real good team at the start and breaking enemies toughness bar really helps with fights, so by having Fugue allowing whatever characters that a new player may have to break enemies would really help them out until they get a better team. At least, that's how I see it. Anyways, I'm so looking forward to her banner and I just got barely enough so I'm guaranteed to get her even if I have to go to 180 pulls for hard pity. With all these banners lately, it has been really hurting my saved up Stellar Jades and Special Passes. Also I'm upset with myself now, cause I gotten rid of all chest pieces for Iron Cavalry except for Outgoing Healing for Lingsha, and Atk for Rappa. I guess I gotta do more grinding for EHR body pieces for Fugue now. The relic grinding never stops...
Well the problem for most F2P is that there are two must have character. Fugue and The Herta. but sunday and algaea. F2P don't have the luxury of waiting for a team to be formed and hope it is working. they need a team that is working now, they are not playing the meta game of 0 Cycles. if you are playing the meta game of 0 cycles you are either a whale or big spender. then you don't care really who you pull or skip.

As a Xueyi main, Fugue fixes they maid issue she had in build stack outside of enemies weak to quantum. Xueyi BIS set might now be Iron Cavalry with Fugue on the team.
Yep, so basically my stellar jade wallet is going to be 😭. Because I was thinking about getting her but now it’s a MUST. On top of that I also want true HERTA mainly for the design but still😢. Also great video.
In HSR i want to try to focus on two teams mainly. I decided to go for a FuA team with Feixiao and Rappa for Super Break. Both are my first limited DPS. Fugue seems to be a QoL and upgrade to Harmony Trailblazer. I find her design very nice. So i think i gonna try to get her. The exo-weakness is the main drawing point. While Rappa have already implant exo-weakness while ultimate, an E0R0 version of Rappa like mine, can really struggle for 1 or 2 turns. And tbh the only other Character im interested in currently is real Herta. But i heard that she desperately needs Jade...
Currently, have a guarantee for her, so... I'll be going for her, because she'll work on either FF's OR Acheron's OR Xueyi's OR Himeko's teams, so... it works for me! (As someone with all of those already. My original plan was to get Sunday and Jingyuan, but... lost the 50/50, and unexpected fell in love with her character in the TB continuance quest. TT_TT I want to reunite her with her adoptive mom/Yukong. :))
I am indeed planning to pull Fugue. I just hope that I successfully get Sunday and his signature lightcone, but if I fail, then I will save that guaranteed pull for Fugue.
Trying to go for e1 fugue since I heard her e1 gives her break efficiency, so that I can use her and rm in two separate teams 😊 but I do really like the Boothill no sustain team, sadly I don't have enough tickets for Sunday but if he's anything like his sister, he'll rerun pretty soon My Galaxy rangers will be feasting with this unit...
Take notes here: She buffs and gives QoL to all my favorite characters, she is from my favorite path and she is THE most beautiful character of the whole game, both 4 and 5-star version. There are no choices here, only Tingyun

I’m pretty much forced to pull on fugue because I want Aglaea. Rememberance TB is definitely going to be necessary for that team so I need a second weakness break enabler. Hoyo knew exactly what they were doing with this one! 😅😅

@theikhtizz6761 if you don't plan to pull ruan mei at all in the future (her rerun probably isn't that far away, though prob not in the early 3. versions), then yes. while fugue e0 definitively can't replace ruan mei in terms of buffing or overall value, she is still a good team mate for boothill because of his pocket trickshots. at least if you get your desired speed and break stats on him without the mad scientist support
@one_and_a_half_braincell yeah ive decided to hold out for the ruan mei rerun. shes just way more flexible than fugue and can work in other teams than break. my boothill rn is 161 spd with 240 be without any additional buff so hes def holding out well even without ruan mei
I plan to use Rappa E0S1, March Hunt E6(Break), Gallagher E6(Tank+Energy), and Fugue E0S1(Speed, EHR, Break) I don't have RM & Not yet build my HMC; will my team be okay?
So for those in doubt, just put HMC into your team and just use his ultimate, and break the enemies to see the superbreak effect bonus damage. that is Fugue slightly less break efficiency always perma ON.
@@gameamoebe8396 At the cost of 1 skill point, without skill point you are doing basic attack. Fugue is 100% skill regainer, since you can't even use her skill unless it is off cooldown. that is why Fugue looks boring, her skill is allowing the main dpser to do full damage regardless of weakness type. Acheron does Squat against none lightning weakness, this allows Acheron to finally do something. other then wait around for the ultimate. so how can something that is regaining skillpoints comes out LESS DAMAGE. somehow either you are playing a different game, or not understanding this game.

Implanting weaknesses and universal break does not change the enemies resistences and the only damage bonus is the 10% damage that broken enemies take. 10% damage from broken enemies mean nothing to Acheron much better to focus on def shred with a Pela etc than Fugue. Silver wolf is the only one to shred resitence alongside implanting weaknesses, anyone else like Boothill and FF do not make enemies take more damage from physical and Fire respectively just makes it possible to break them.

(but Super break is double that damage). Anything else you want to TEST and PLAY. oh my what is better then lightning weakness a FREE super break bonus. and Fugue is bad with Acheron. @@drakehound2244 Superbreak adds nothing to Acheron, she does not scale with break, she is pure damage via debuffs and her ultimate. Implanting weaknesses does nothing for her and neither does breaking enemies, she literally does not care about breaks at all. Giving her universal break does not give her extra damage because it does not lower enemies resistences at all and breaking enemies gived her only 10% more damage against the broken enemies and the added superbreak damage is a literal joke even when using HMC, she does not want superbreak at all, she wants enemies defence reduced and resistences lowered. You clearly have no idea how Acheron or the game works. Superbreak is objectively worse than using the free 4 star Pela and Guiniven. You saying she does no damage against enemies she cant break is mind numbingly stupid and show you know nothing of Acheron or the game, she literally does not want a superbreak team and she does not care about breaks at all, it does nothing for her. Wether a enemie can be broken or not is irelevant to Acheron, her entire kit is literally built around debuffing enemies to stack her ult and kill them with her insane damage per burst. The fact you even mention her lightning weakness break at all shows you do not know how to play the game and are a complete joke who will never clear any content. There are countless enemies who want Superbreak, Acheron is literally the last on that list she does not want nor benefit from superbreak and breaking enemies is literally useless for her. Feels like a lot of us are compelled to get her for the sake of break teams and her being Tingyun 2... I'm just concerned, both because of the upcoming content and the desire to invest in future characters. I already got Sunday, so there's that.
This may be very silly, but I am desperate to use Fugue with Sushang. Sushang, Tingyun, Qingque, and Natasha was my primary team until Loucha’s Banner. Qingque, Sushang, and Tingyun being among my top favorite characters, and my favorites at launch. I’ll make a Nostalgia team with Fugue, even if it isn’t the most meta. I run Qingque with with Fu Xuan, Sparkle, and Silverwolf/Xueyi. But Fugue could even supplant my occasional use of Silverwolf. Been playing since launch, and there has only been other characters I have looked forward too as much as Fugue, and that was Fu Xuan. To a lesser extent Feixiao, Lingsha (who I still haven’t gotten… damn Gatcha Gods). Lost my last 50/50 and I’ve saved 120 tickets so far so yeah, Fugue is coming home in at least some capacity.
I have no idea what I'm going to do between Fugue and Herta.... I've been changing my mind daily, no joke. Not to mention whoever they might drop in 3.1 since that's the anniversary patch!! I think right now Fugue is going to have to be a rerun character for me, hope they don't lock her in a basement for first rerun like Ratio (I still want his dang light cone lol)

The main reason why Im pulling Fugue is because I have FF, Rappa, E2 Lingsha and Ruan Mei. But the second reason is because I want to use RMC in 3.0 and not be forced to switch path
Based off of what I have because I have to be very selective on which characters I get. My two teams will be Acheron, Pela, Sampo, Bailu Firefly, Fugue, Img TB, Lynx I think they’ll be good
When using Fugue with Lingsha, does Fugue's DEF shred and rainbow toughness break apply on every enemy that Lingsha attacks with her AOE or just the main target?

Yes you only need Fugue at E0 if you go for Eidolon levels it is same as firefly E2 is the optimal, Fugue gives action advance on E2. lightcon isn't that important on fugue it is good, but not a MUST have. enough break lightcons for Nihility units.
Best team comp imho is Rappa, HMC, Fugue, and Sunday/Bronya/Sustain Welt(I didn't list the superbreak units I didn't have…). Idk if I'm correct or not, but Superbreak stacks…(as you've mentioned it serms)

Easy pull for me. I was going for E1 Sunday, lost the 50/50 to Himeko, was more happy that I lost so I could get a guarantee Fugue. Skipping all of 3.0 characters makes this easy as well.

Skipping all of 3.0? Like all of them? Cause if you play endgame you're going to need a lot of prayer to clear them on 3.0 with the amount of HP they added lol. They're pretty much power creeping all of 1.0 and 2.0 characters except sunday.

Omg, thank you devs! I was just going to pull on her cause Tingyun was my favorite girl in the whole HSR series cause I love fox girls, but after seeing her kit. Oh, I have to have Fugue even more now. Not only do I feel like they made Tingyun's design better with Fugue, but her kit is awesome. I mean that whole allow characters to reduce toughness of enemies that aren't weak to them. That will make it so much easier to break enemies and make characters so much more effective. For example, Ruan Mei is great on break teams but it does suck when I use my break team against enemies that have fire and imaginary weakness but no ice weakness. It makes so Ruan Mei is only there for buffs then, but.. With Fugue, she can actually contribute to breaking enemies toughness bar now. I'm glad Moon brought up the whole Himeko thing cause despite her not being top tier dps. She was my first five star and I honestly love her, and with Fugue now she can have her follow up attack more easily triggered now. But yeah, I'm really loving this kit of hers. I was just going to pull her cause I love the character, but the kit makes her even more of a must pull now for me.
I'm not sure if other people will agree with me, but I think she might be a must for F2P players especially new players cause of her skill allowing allies to break enemies toughness even when they are not weak to that character. I say that cause a lot of new players aren't going to have a real good team at the start and breaking enemies toughness bar really helps with fights, so by having Fugue allowing whatever characters that a new player may have to break enemies would really help them out until they get a better team. At least, that's how I see it. Anyways, I'm so looking forward to her banner and I just got barely enough so I'm guaranteed to get her even if I have to go to 180 pulls for hard pity. With all these banners lately, it has been really hurting my saved up Stellar Jades and Special Passes. Also I'm upset with myself now, cause I gotten rid of all chest pieces for Iron Cavalry except for Outgoing Healing for Lingsha, and Atk for Rappa. I guess I gotta do more grinding for EHR body pieces for Fugue now. The relic grinding never stops...

Well the problem for most F2P is that there are two must have character. Fugue and The Herta. but sunday and algaea. F2P don't have the luxury of waiting for a team to be formed and hope it is working. they need a team that is working now, they are not playing the meta game of 0 Cycles. if you are playing the meta game of 0 cycles you are either a whale or big spender. then you don't care really who you pull or skip.

As a Xueyi main, Fugue fixes they maid issue she had in build stack outside of enemies weak to quantum. Xueyi BIS set might now be Iron Cavalry with Fugue on the team.

In HSR i want to try to focus on two teams mainly. I decided to go for a FuA team with Feixiao and Rappa for Super Break. Both are my first limited DPS. Fugue seems to be a QoL and upgrade to Harmony Trailblazer. I find her design very nice. So i think i gonna try to get her. The exo-weakness is the main drawing point. While Rappa have already implant exo-weakness while ultimate, an E0R0 version of Rappa like mine, can really struggle for 1 or 2 turns. And tbh the only other Character im interested in currently is real Herta. But i heard that she desperately needs Jade...
Well I can say Hoyo managed to get me to pull out my wallet for once. They have quite the line up of useful and awesome characters.
With Boothill, Firefly, and especially Rappa...I think I need Fugue. She'll boost any break unit for patches to come.
Currently, have a guarantee for her, so... I'll be going for her, because she'll work on either FF's OR Acheron's OR Xueyi's OR Himeko's teams, so... it works for me! (As someone with all of those already. My original plan was to get Sunday and Jingyuan, but... lost the 50/50, and unexpected fell in love with her character in the TB continuance quest. TT_TT

I’m pretty much forced to pull on fugue because I want Aglaea. Rememberance TB is definitely going to be necessary for that team so I need a second weakness break enabler. Hoyo knew exactly what they were doing with this one! 😅😅

if you don't plan to pull ruan mei at all in the future (her rerun probably isn't that far away, though prob not in the early 3. versions), then yes.
while fugue e0 definitively can't replace ruan mei in terms of buffing or overall value, she is still a good team mate for boothill because of his pocket trickshots. at least if you get your desired speed and break stats on him without the mad scientist support
@one_and_a_half_braincell yeah ive decided to hold out for the ruan mei rerun. shes just way more flexible than fugue and can work in other teams than break. my boothill rn is 161 spd with 240 be without any additional buff so hes def holding out well even without ruan mei

So for those in doubt, just put HMC into your team and just use his ultimate, and break the enemies to see the superbreak effect bonus damage. that is Fugue slightly less break efficiency always perma ON.
still a very huge negative that its actually less damage, since after the first ultimate HMC can also have 100% uptime pretty easily.
@@gameamoebe8396 At the cost of 1 skill point, without skill point you are doing basic attack. Fugue is 100% skill regainer, since you can't even use her skill unless it is off cooldown. that is why Fugue looks boring, her skill is allowing the main dpser to do full damage regardless of weakness type. Acheron does Squat against none lightning weakness, this allows Acheron to finally do something. other then wait around for the ultimate. so how can something that is regaining skillpoints comes out LESS DAMAGE. somehow either you are playing a different game, or not understanding this game.

Implanting weaknesses and universal break does not change the enemies resistences and the only damage bonus is the 10% damage that broken enemies take.
10% damage from broken enemies mean nothing to Acheron much better to focus on def shred with a Pela etc than Fugue.
Silver wolf is the only one to shred resitence alongside implanting weaknesses, anyone else like Boothill and FF do not make enemies take more damage from physical and Fire respectively just makes it possible to break them.

(but Super break is double that damage).
Anything else you want to TEST and PLAY. oh my what is better then lightning weakness a FREE super break bonus. and Fugue is bad with Acheron.

@@drakehound2244 Superbreak adds nothing to Acheron, she does not scale with break, she is pure damage via debuffs and her ultimate.
Implanting weaknesses does nothing for her and neither does breaking enemies, she literally does not care about breaks at all.
Giving her universal break does not give her extra damage because it does not lower enemies resistences at all and breaking enemies gived her only 10% more damage against the broken enemies and the added superbreak damage is a literal joke even when using HMC, she does not want superbreak at all, she wants enemies defence reduced and resistences lowered.
You clearly have no idea how Acheron or the game works.
Superbreak is objectively worse than using the free 4 star Pela and Guiniven.
You saying she does no damage against enemies she cant break is mind numbingly stupid and show you know nothing of Acheron or the game, she literally does not want a superbreak team and she does not care about breaks at all, it does nothing for her.
Wether a enemie can be broken or not is irelevant to Acheron, her entire kit is literally built around debuffing enemies to stack her ult and kill them with her insane damage per burst.
The fact you even mention her lightning weakness break at all shows you do not know how to play the game and are a complete joke who will never clear any content.
There are countless enemies who want Superbreak, Acheron is literally the last on that list she does not want nor benefit from superbreak and breaking enemies is literally useless for her.

Feels like a lot of us are compelled to get her for the sake of break teams and her being Tingyun 2... I'm just concerned, both because of the upcoming content and the desire to invest in future characters. I already got Sunday, so there's that.

This may be very silly, but I am desperate to use Fugue with Sushang. Sushang, Tingyun, Qingque, and Natasha was my primary team until Loucha’s Banner. Qingque, Sushang, and Tingyun being among my top favorite characters, and my favorites at launch. I’ll make a Nostalgia team with Fugue, even if it isn’t the most meta.
I run Qingque with with Fu Xuan, Sparkle, and Silverwolf/Xueyi. But Fugue could even supplant my occasional use of Silverwolf.
Been playing since launch, and there has only been other characters I have looked forward too as much as Fugue, and that was Fu Xuan. To a lesser extent Feixiao, Lingsha (who I still haven’t gotten… damn Gatcha Gods).
Lost my last 50/50 and I’ve saved 120 tickets so far so yeah, Fugue is coming home in at least some capacity.
I'm gonna pick up Fugue, and Feixiao on her rerun, and pray that the cat girl has the new DoT sauce.

When using Fugue with Lingsha, does Fugue's DEF shred and rainbow toughness break apply on every enemy that Lingsha attacks with her AOE or just the main target?

Yes you only need Fugue at E0 if you go for Eidolon levels it is same as firefly E2 is the optimal, Fugue gives action advance on E2. lightcon isn't that important on fugue it is good, but not a MUST have. enough break lightcons for Nihility units.

Best team comp imho is Rappa, HMC, Fugue, and Sunday/Bronya/Sustain Welt(I didn't list the superbreak units I didn't have…). Idk if I'm correct or not, but Superbreak stacks…(as you've mentioned it serms)
