Im on ps5 and personally Im SO glad they put 120’s back to have 2c1b. Having a 1s ttk with bad stability and handling base stats and requiring 3crits is wildly punishing and un fair imo. With pulses regaining supreme (yet again) and the ease of use of other primaries makes it only fair to make 120’s do this. Im a hardcore hc main and I use 120’s agro as I can be like sure ill play slower if I HAVE to but typically I love playing more agro no matter what. This one change alone has made crucible feel waayy better also. Theres nothing like enjoying the feel of a weapon in crucible and 120’s finally feel awsome again. Been a long time coming I really hope it stays this way. 😂🎉
Honestly, if all 120s had the stats of Igneous then the 3crit wouldn't be bad. 120s aren't straight dueler weapons in the first place. They're like bows or snipers. You find good angles and dwindle your opponents down and go for cleanups.
I really wish they would bring First Curse back especially because this arch type of handcannon is good in pvp in D2 unlike in D1. That was my favorite handcannon.
the people saying that they didn't need the buff are the ones who use bygones and auto rifles. 120s we're shit without pi now they're in a good spot again
I have a very similar roll on Steady Hand, although mine rolled with Killing Wind instead of Slide Shot (SS is better given the abysmal reload stat). I usually only use it on my hunter with Marksman Dodge as a result.
People talking about any gun while pulses 0.67 from 39m is LOL. Ridiculous, and the funny part is they just need to make 340 into 320s and they'll be much healthier.
@@WHlSKYtx And they get rolled ( console ). I've no issue beating 2+kds with pulses when they use HCs and im around a 2/2.1 myself. And when i use a HC and they use pulses i only win if i push extremely fast and hard and catch em off otherwise we trade damage and i have to back off cause i need 3 peaks they need 2. Hcs are good if you are PREMADE and shoot the same person but even then 340s will instakill people without needed a 3rd shot from the 1st guy who opened yhe fight. Pc might be different cause on pc handcannons have like 20% less recoil and bullets bend even more.
Yes, I'm on xbox and 340s are so strong, I have to play cover and peak shot perfectly just to get a chance, and if they connect the 2 burst there's nothing u can do.
Facts. 340 Pulses where mad overwhelming when I played last season. Haven't been playing this season, but I had to treat 340 pulse players as if they had a bow or sniper, I had to stick to cover VERY hard, and you can't really rush down a 340 pulse and have the same advantage you would have when rushing a 150 scout, bow, or sniper, because Elsie's was also fast and good to use in close quarters as well. Pair that with the fact that any attempt to gain space or rush in close was met with 3 different abilities every single engagement from a single person, and your winning options become zero against someone fairly competent. When I would swap to a pulse to counter or another long distance option, comp matches would always go to time. Last season was the longest and most boring comp matches I've ever played. Compared to the season prior, where we had special meter, no prismatic, and Survival, which they should have kept alongside Clash.
Absolutely. It's still the same risk, you can still get dunked on by the usual. It's just such a big deal for the weapon archetype to finally OPEN up and not have Precision Inst. be the only perk that matters. Crimils and Combined Action with Zen feels so good, my old Round Robin chunker is back, Targeted Redaction finally has its time (seriously this thing feels so good when you have the Origin trait up). I think the meta will settle back to the pre-120 buff, 120s are just hot right now. But the Pulses and the Autos will still dominate the meta.
They were in a good spot but precision instruments really ruined everything for 120s. It made other perk combos useless and I rather deal with a 120 user that hits his shots, rather than getting killed easily with a 2crit 1 body. Still, I’d rather deal with 120s than fucking pulses. I’m tired of the “let me sit in the back with a pulse and not push anything because I’m a virgin”.
yes. yes they did
No. No they didn’t
I'm gonna go ahead and say not they didn't

On controller it’s a perfect change
@@simplyfitness892 It could be skill issue but I have some problems to use them on controller. Which sensibility do you use? 👀

I want them to bring it back in the form of a catalyst for The Last Word. 120 while ads, and last word from the hip. Never happen though 🥲
120s are back on the menu bois!

I'm glad that they are bringing weapons up rather than nerfing the outliers down. It makes for good competition between pulses and 120 hand cannons

I pulled out my steady hand yesterday and it’s no god roll but it felt great. Actually prefer it over a solid igneous adept I have.
I pulled out my old Duke Mk. 44 and its slaying so hard now
Can you do a video on the best options for 120’s?
Yep. Resil gate was stupid from the start. They still aren’t “top tier” with how insane 340 are though

autos suck
Round robin elemental on arc is king👑
Old igneous also rolled ecap and destroys it lol
You all can use what ever handcannon you all want but it’s still no match for the 120 king 👑 the Duke .44
It was the tiniest buff. Everyone was using Iggy and that gun was always 2c1b
It’s a massive buff tf you mean, it gives all 120’s precision instrument, freeing up a perk slot
Something New is Steady Hand with better perks & Stats
Absolutely, they were basically 140s just slower.... plus pulse rifles are out of control, so 🤷🏻♂️
Ma baby Loud Lullaby with Slideshot and Kill Clip is so back xD
Kill clip is only up to 8 resil
When are they being buffed

if you are a void main, round robin has JUICED stats
Flutted, rich,ka,ele(void) and ophidian class item or the exotic itself and 'chefs kiss'
Because they’re a “skill” counter to laneing Larry’s 😂😂
No, 180's did need it.
Kinda bored of hand cannons and pulses just dominating. Literally been like this for so long now its getting boring.
No, but is anybody complaining to not needing a perk to 2 head 1 body, I'd fcn hope not lmao
nope. 120s should've always 2c1b without a perk against all resil imo
resil gate suckkkkkksssss
Honestly no
The word insane isniver used 😂😂😂 everything is insane
STURM is on drugs 😂 bonkers stats
Hand Cannons have roamed unchecked as the kings of PvP since D2 launch. They needed a nerf, and Bungie gave them a buff.
Bruh is forgetting about the smg meta a while back, as well as the current pulse rifle supremacy
This is cool and all, but Pulses will still be better in 3v3 :/
