For those wondering about some of the mods being used, I recognize some of them from other mod packs like the 'All of Fabric' mods or 'Better Minecraft'. The cool biomes & new wood types are from 'Oh The Biomes You'll Go'. There's 'Hex Casting' for that scroll Scott found. The mount is from 'Mystic Mounts'. Those cool black flowers are from 'Botania'. There's some that I don't know but here's a few I recognized right away if you want to get into modded minecraft.
It's reminiscent of ATM (All The Mods) but with extra mods on top. There could easily be more than a hundred mods all in. I think there may be Mahou Tsukai too but not sure (I don't know the mod). There's definitely 'When Dungeons Arise!' included because that's where the airship is from.
I have an Theory.. the reason Scott is participating in the tournament is because he had someone close to him die.. specifically a boyfriend, based on the ‘what OUR dream house WOULD have been.’ Judging by the beginning we can also say he wants to get rid of the corruption that coincides with his magic. With these two ideas we can bring something together. Some time ago, Scott had fallen in love with someone, they were extremely close until he mysteriously died. I’d expect it was a freak accident caused by Scott’s magic, causing some sort of survivor’s guilt and (sense his magic is known for raising the dead) obligation (and MAYBE obsession) to bring him back to make amends. Unfortunately, Scott is inexperienced and/or either lost his ability to cast severe magic during his denial period. This maybe an obvious assumption but that’s all I have rn.. Either way, I’m excited to see where this is going!!

He confined himself to that small cottage in the deep forest and started messing around with dark magics and necromancy. His main goal about why he wants to win this game is so that by being the supreme witch, he will have enough power to not just turn his lover undead, but to instead fully revive him.
After finding out scotts going to be a necromancer: How is Scott - colourloving Scott how likes anything cute - going to play a dark, live-in-the-night, creepy necromancer? After the into-Scene: oh, so he is the: I will do anything, and go over the dead or undeath body of anyone to fullfill my (guildinflicted?) obssession to bring back the one I love - kind of necromancer

20:00 as a irl witch, wands usually are just sticks you find in your favourite woods! The you can attach a crystal to it using glue wax or twine etc, you can also use crystal wants if your drawn to it. What matters the most is you have have to feel a connection with it.
My grandma taught me witchcraft too but we use something different not wands or spells we have a bowl full of herbs with a bunch of insects ik disgusting then candles around us the candles should always be lit up in order to make the ritual work a sea herbs different insects and more after we crush all of it we use an incantation i cannot tell anyone after that the target will get bitten by a large insect and few mins after it the target will feel a piercing pain in which part of their body got bitten by a large insect;) just sharing

scotts character being so desperate to bring 'him' back that he doesnt seem to care about anything else vs scott himself being so exciteed over the cute animals makes me think it would be really sweet (and a little funny) if he learned to live and move on again by making animal friends. i imagine he fails at the contests in the end and comes home bitter and angry but all his pets and mounts remind him that hes been living this whole time without 'him', and that maybe thats not such a bad thing after all.

I have zero supporting evidence for this, I just think it would be fun

Hi Scott I've been watching you're channel for a while now and I love it, especially the smps. I love the story behind all of them, my favorite one so far was empires season 1, the story was amazing. @@TickleAsshairs Nah it's fine here let me explain.. mostly it started on the series 3rd life which is a really good series which I recommend you watch from all pov like grian, Scar, Martin, etc..- Jimmy and Scott after the group meeting in the beginning were the first to see each other and in the end deciding to live next to each other. This bond turned into an alliance between them and the place they were living in was a flower forest for this originated the name "flower husbands" of these two getting shipped together in a way and during third life Scott constantly called him his husband and had a pretty strong connection to him of course there's a lot more to this but explaining it without spoiling whole of third life would be hard so I recommend you watch that series and there's a another video by someone who explains all the relations ships during third life! Hope this helped a bit!

@@TickleAsshairs Nah it's fine here let me explain.. mostly it started on the series 3rd life which is a really good series which I recommend you watch from all pov like grian, Scar, Martin, etc..- Jimmy and Scott after the group meeting in the beginning were the first to see each other and in the end deciding to live next to each other. This bond turned into an alliance between them and the place they were living in was a flower forest for this originated the name "flower husbands" of these two getting shipped together in a way and during third life Scott constantly called him his husband and had a pretty strong connection to him of course there's a lot more to this but explaining it without spoiling whole of third life would be hard so I recommend you watch that series and there's a another video by someone who explains all the relations ships during third life! Hope this helped a bit!
