I barely have a game-breaking lag in my game since I have newer computer (bought in 2015). I just need couple of important mods to improve the stability. The newer LazyDuchess smooth patch is even a game-changer now because they found a way from the game code to improve the game performance. The thing EA did not bother to upgrade TS3 to the 64-bit platform is basically the main culprit. All they needed to do was recompile and have minor bug-fixing on the 64-bit port. Because then they would not be able to run their money-making machine milking people to buy TS4 DLCs anymore. I secretly hoped that The Sims 3 source code was leaked online in the EA breach last 2021, where FIFA source code was leaked. If it were, I would happily recompile the game code into 64-bit, and I could live happily ever after.
@@jessicake97 Same. It was my childhood/preteen years. (Born in 2001) So it holds a lot of nostalgia for me. But I fully understand if people want to like, pull the game into the more modern era
The Sims 3 is a concentrate of the 2000s. I was born in 1996, so my childhood and teenage passed during those years and now looking at that fashion is such nostalgia
@@Tevi_L7151 exactly. I have pictures of me in the early 2000 (I guess when I was 11-15 yo) dressed like this. Generations born after could never understand
Its not if you have a good sense of style and experiment with patterns (you can also download patterns). I have not that many CC clothes and use many things from EP's and base game even, especially for teenagers. Also store content is helpful, because store clothes are decenf. I dont like how most of the CC in sims 3 looks (sharp shapes, the clothes get glitchy and dont match the game style, the best quality is represented by sims 4 conversions) except for hair, so I try to use as much from the game as i can. F.e the world adventures shirt&skirt piece with a floral pattern can look very cottage-like. I also use the "winter sweater" as I call it, pattern for clothes to make them look more fit for elders. I have tight pants from the store and use jeans pattern on them or the plain pattern to make them into leggins. I also like to recreate outfits from movies and rn my teenager is dressed like Cher from clueless, her friend is styles to look like Dionne. I also like creating halloween costumes and there is a patter that you can recolor to look like blood and dirt. There is a face make up of a surfer man that i recolored to look like blood on the cheek (you jist make one part of it match the skin, using the color wheel). The options are not that limited, if you use all the tools. Hell yeah, i even recreated the Margot Robbie barbie-cowboy look (without a hat but still).
I hate when people say "the Sims 3 runs bad and it will melt your PC" they just don't know how to fix it, also I played on the worst PC when I first started playing and it didn't even run that bad smh, and you can make absolutely gorgeous sims in this game if ya give it a little time, I mean look at your sims, they do be looking pretty good.
I LOVE TS3! I never had major performance issues on my pcs. Not at release, not now. I recently had to delete all my mods because the mods caused major issues that I couldn't even open my biggest legacy family anymore. It was all because of story progression. I now play with the vanilla game since then and it runs perfectly fine again. I always WANT to play with mods so badly but then I remember that these are the resons my game always had some issues and then I end up deleting them again. I also had issues with the new EA app since it came out. Origin always served me and ts3 well but since the EA app I had to uninstall all pf my ts3 content and install it again with the disc. I can't play online or even with wifi devices on anymore because EA trying to get acces to my game makes it crash or it wont even open in the girst place. BUT I got behind it, installed all the discs and now it works perfectly fine again. I cursed EA for weeks for switching to this dumb app before I fixed my problem. My boyfriend asked my why I even want to play ts3 if I have this problem (Lol once in 15 years) I just screamed "BLAME EA, TS3 IS INNOCENT!"😅 So. Performance issues in my game are either the mods fault or EAs fault 😅 Oh and of course the grafic card compatibility has to be there or at least the recognition. But its not too ddifficult to go into the settings and make the graphic card recognize the game. And I don't think the sims look ugly. They look realistic. I would even go as far as to say I "like" the pudding face 😂
Nraas story progression is known to beef up save files. I personally only use it when I know my sims are getting married soon and planning on having children. Then I turn it off.
Growing up and playing the sims 3 on a crappy laptop made me who I am today 😅 I think I owe it to ts3 for making me a patient person, but now that I have a nicer pc, I don't need to be quite as patient! I think one of the best things about ts3 is that since the graphics start somewhere in the middle, you can tune it to look either cartoony or realistic depending on the style you prefer. Whereas in ts4, I think that it is hard to have a nice alpha look in a cartoony atmosphere, so I think the sims 3 way more versatile in that way, you can have the best of both worlds! And my favorite expansion of all time is probably seasons. It first introduced festivals into the sims, which now seem like a staple of new ts4 expansions and they try to call it "new gameplay"... 🙄
No CC user here. I don’t mind the look. And with simler90’s huge core gameplay fix, townies get randomized features so everyone looks different. Also.. now ALL store content is free. So many people have their own ”stores” where they have all the content for download :P
I get a bit if lag cause my toxic sims 3 trait is having too many store sets + being a ccholic + I have all the EPs with 3 or 4 Stuff Packs. I'll likely just start over... Eventually. I personally like to use Tamo's default faces + eyes, a nude body default, and a default override for makeup. Made a whole difference for me!
I love ts3 and I'm so happy I resisted the urge to buy ts4 packs and bought ts3 instead. I have 5 packs in which I got on sale w the base game. World Adventures is S tier; absolute perfection. Everything you said is right, you tell no lies.
Sims 3 is beautiful, sometimes it looks so scenic and real that it feels like I'm literally seeing the views in person. As for the sims themselves, I hardly used any CC in all my years of playtime and I know for a fact that it is not impossible to make your sims decent looking, or even good looking, if you know how to utilize the sliders well.
i totally agree with all of what you said. i also don't have into the future and i don't feel like i NEED it. and yes, generations, world adventures and ambitions are the best eps for sure. the last two being criminally underrated. i have all the stuff packs and although they dont make a huge difference to the game, a LOT of cool items come with them so i like having them. i'd recommend getting the 70s 80s 90s stuff pack :)
My collection just lavks the movie stuff pack. I never felt like I needed it. But into thee future I also bought just to "complete" my expansion pack collection on my shelf😅❤
I like ITF clothing and objects, i use them a lot. But its not that needed if you dont like modern styling. I did a crossover with ambitions and my stylist sim became the trend setter in the future and got a monument
Omg THANK YOU for singing the praises of world adventures. It’s not often that people do that and I don’t understand why because what other expansion in all of sims history has come with 3 full size worlds?! Not to mention things like photography, nectar making, tombs, and new collectible items. Also, not sure if basements became part of a patch, but they originally came with world adventures because of nectar. Honestly the pack is just 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Playing Bridgeport was a mess back in the day. My biggest gripe was that venues were completely devoid of sims because the game decided the pc was too shit to send sims there. I got around it by downloading small lots but then they were overrun with too many sims. Drove me nuts but I still loved it.
A lot of things I like about the Sims 3 but some cons aswell. I like the open world and story progression and all the little things like being invited to a party or the town gossiping about you if you cheat etc I don’t like the clothing options especially swimwear very limited even with seasons. I don’t like building or decorating homes with it. I can play with no lag on a normal laptop.
When TS4 base game became free I installed it and had a nice time creating Sims and building houses, dowloaded 7gb of CC and for a few months it was fun until last week I got so bored with the game I went back to TS3 and played for like 5 hours straight and I had so much fun! Yes ts4 is easier in the eyes but nothing beats ts3 gameplay
Seconded on the packs, I don’t even have ALL of the packs but Sims 3 feels so full of content regardless. Loved it since the day I got it and the Ambitions ep back in high school.
Agree with you 100%! I am an old simmer and I find myself only playing Sims 3. Thank you for all your content, watch it all! Warm greetings from South Africa.😊
Thank you so much for your amazing content!! I discovered my old TS3 tumblr this week and realized I haven’t played since college started (2023). Your channel made me fall in love with the game again :,) I’ll definitely play this weekend
i really like your house. it's a great example of the game's inexplicable appeal to me lol. i can never put it into words, but even dated, once you throw some CC in the art style just gives me the warm-fuzzies.
Out of the box the sims 3 is rough. Even more so back in like 2010. But, thanks to the community and their fixes the game can really shine now. So really, the curve of TS3 acceptance makes sense.
The thing is I've never had any performance issues with the game, despite playing it on potatoes xD so it's always been weird to me how people complained about lags etc. which never existed to me. Visually I think it's a beautiful game if it comes to landscape etc., sims themselves are a bit icky to me but I never used any cc (this may change when I get a new pc) so I don't really have a comparison.
I love this video and agreed with so many of your points. I got the Sims 3 when it first came out and ran it on a cheap, old computer and it ran fine for me. Then I had it on a gaming laptop and now my main PC. Those that complain about performance and lag needs to just install NRAAS mods and watch that video you're referring to. Plus the Sims 4 is newer and has way more bugs, glitches, and lag than the Sims 3. The Sims 3 store didn't bother me for the same reasons you mentioned. I can easily play hours in the base game alone without getting bored unlike Sims 4. I always liked the way Sims looked in 3. I liked the realistic vibe and never saw how people described them as potato people. Plus there are mods to fix it for those that don't like the style. I have all of the Expansion Packs, but didn't buy any Stuff Packs and I'm content. Most of the time when I play, I only play with 1-3 packs anyways. I never played with them all at the same time even though my computer can handle it. The Sims 3 Expansion Packs were AMAZING. Yes, they were expensive at the time, but they made the gameplay so much more richer and in depth. There would be so much to offer and I could get lost in one for so long. I love World Adventures, Seasons, Pets, and Generations the most. But I am a family player and the locations in World Adventures was so cool. That was my first Expansion Packs and for so long, that is the only one I had. I didn't get the rest until way later like 2019. Dead serious.
I never had the experience I've seen people talk about with it being a buggy mess. When TS3 came out, I had a mid range Dell laptop, and it ran it like a champ. That was eventually replaced with a Toshiba Satellite, which I ran Sims on and streamed Netflix or RUclips to my TV at the same time with no issues. The problems I saw sometimes were - there's a spot next to the park in Sunset Valley where sims would just get stuck in, and I'd have to reset them. The fire station was built with the parking space in backwards, so you have to flip that around or the truck can't get out. One of the items you get in World Adventures that you get in one world and then you have to bring it with you to another world to continue the quest disappears. You have to use dev cheats to get the item back or just cheat the quest to mark it as done. The in game achievement for 50 grandchildren never triggers. I don't know what in the world other people were doing to get the experiences they were complaining about. But, I never used mods or CC either, it was just a vanilla game. It makes me wonder if people were just bloating down their games with garbage to make it run so poorly. I didn't start to have any issues until Island Living, and then I got a ton of lag.
although ts3 has a lot of bugs, glitches and lag, I've found that most if not all of it can be remedied with a specific set of mods that optimize it and finagling the game to recognize your graphics card. it definitely isn't "plug and play" but once you get it going in good shape it can handle itself pretty well and still holds up game content and quality wise imo
I have every pack and its over whelming, i like having lots of build options but theres SO many game mechanics. Im sure theres a way to pick and choose but i havent figured it out yet. 🔥 take: the horses in sims 3 are great i love them and they are why im playing again lol
When I had to download the EA app it totally ruined my game for my computer (I played on a lap top hooked up to an external hard drive. I know) literally first thing that came to my mind was wondering how I could download the sims 2 if I couldn't play sims 3 anymore. Ultimately installed sims 3 on my husband's desk top with his permission. It runs so well 😅
The Sims 3 is the best!! Once I had an Alienware gaming laptop, it ran so smoothly!! There is so much more to do on 3!! I miss being able to buy towns and download free towns other simmers made! I also loved all the CC I bought for the game. My only complaint was EA's was expensive! The color wheel and being able to download other patterns to use in the game was amazing!! There was so much cool CC and I loved the open world. I felt like 4 went backward with all the loading screens when you travel!
i honestly think the sims in the sims 3 look fine, they just look like normal people to me. plus im running that game on a shitty laptop with integrated graphics and it runs perfectly fine
To be honest, the other reasons i go back to the sims 4 at all is the realistic pregnancy and child birth mods and build mode. That's it. Otherwise, the sims 2 and 3 is far more enjoyable, with or without mods.
I personally kinda like the weird plastic-y look of the sims lol and don't use any cc for that, though for hairstyles cc is a must have, esp for men (despite still lacking, as always). A lot of the store cas items are pretty good and majority of my guys wear stuff from store or diesel stuff (this one has some nice jeans). I have most expansions, some I can live without n I keep around cuz i like some of the cosmetics that come w it. One of those is into the future. The future is kinda cool but not the most interesting.. The plumbots are a nice addition imo, you can make like a one-time-fee maid w the right trait chips for example. I basically had a plumbot raise my child once haha. I also like the unstable trait it adds, can result in some interesting sims. It gets quite some hate, maybe rightfuly so, but i'd say it's an ok expansion if you like a bit more abstract stuff n it has potential to be fun, like trying to experience all alternative realities.. that is if it decides to work properly.
I’m really intrigued to know how NotMalcolm is able to get LazyDuchess’ mod to still work. It did work for me at first. Then it would cause my game to crash. So I went back to using FTS limiter and 3booter. Such a shame because when it did work it was the best gameplay experience I’ve ever had since installing and mods and custom content.
Most of my Sims 3 store stuff is missing now. When I play it offers me the chance to buy again all this stuff I used to own! The thing I hate most is I don’t own dragon valley anymore.😢
Back in 2009-2013, I was playing The Sims 3 on a Sony Vaio laptop with integrated Intel graphics. I optimised it somehow and I had a good time playing. Now I own a gaming PC which is overkill for a game like The Sims 3. But the game is not even optimised for 64 bit Windows, and because of it, the game still takes ages to load and save regardless of me having a fast NVMe SSD storage drive. Another annoying thing is the game's UI is also not optimised for resolutions above 1080p. I play on 1440p and the UI is small, and if I go higher than 1440p the UI becomes even smaller. I tried looking for a mod that fixes this issue but there doesn't seem to be any, besides changing the look of the UI. But gameplay wise, I'm enjoying The Sims 3 more than before. I'm currently playing the base game and trying to explore every interesting thing. I want to play through each expansion one by one.
I don’t like horses in real life, but I have pets and I’m a completionist, so I completed all the equestrian stuff. The horses are crazy broken. Worse than the multitasking on 4. I had to get a mod to constantly reset them everytime they got stuck. But, 3 is definitely better than 4 with some exceptions. It would have been nice if the lifetime goals worked the same way as aspirations do now, but they weren’t the main way to get points then either, so it kind of balanced out.
Lol I still don't have all sims 3 packs 10 years later either and beside generations I never felt like i need them , when I'm lacking some stuff I just download New cc and I'm good for months lmao.
My performance can be really bad sometimes but im still getting new mods and cc and new worlds and stuff all the time. Also playing in custom worlds i feel like causes a lot of my problems on top of me constantly changing around mods and adding new ones
The hair in ts3 is ugly af, but everything else looks great for an older game imo. I use custom hair, skins and shoes (cause theres just too little to choose from). For build/buy i only use some custom patterns and cars
Oh and about the performance; i use nraas and ld smooth patch, changed the graphic rules and stuff to give it more ram and get it to recognize my graphics card and my game runs like butter. I can play for generations and its still fine, i use regul save cleaner if the files get too bloated, but the game never crashes. Cant say the same about ts4, the loading screens are like 20 seconds when you start a new save, but in gen 2 its like 5 to 10. And dont even get me started on the simulation lag. Also, ts4 gameplay gets boring very fast.. I wish i loved it, but i just cant and it honestly breaks my heart.
Sims 3 runs great on my gaming laptop, I can literally leave it paused for an hour or two while cleaning and come back, hit the play button and bam it's good to go.
I disliked the store cuz I like the idea of a "complete" game. I tend to get all the packs etc. Something like a store (which was very expensive) i sorta have up
What you said about TS3 store, I agree. My only big issues with it are the pricing and that simpoints can't be used on certain worlds. And I do think Sims 3's rep is mostly from the view of people who played on lower spec PCs and laptops that couldn't run it. One of my personal unpopular opinions is that people who complain the TS3 Sims are ugly don't know how to use the sliders. I love using CAS in Sims 3 and have no problem with creating unique Sims and that's without CC skins.
I had both the sims 3 and sims 4 on the same laptop for years. Ran terribly. But as soon as I uninstalled sims 4, I works GREAT. Sims 4 is the real enemy. /hj
in terms of perfomance the sims 3 doess have some hiccups in my opinion but with some tweaking combined with the power of modern hardware its much more manageable. On the whole ugly sims thing I will admit the default sims are not the most visually appealing to me, I do like the stylization of the sims in the sims 4 more but I wouldn't exactly say the sims 3 sims are ugly, and hey with some mods and tweaks they can be improved.
Sims 3 is and always will be superior. Also, it wasn't and still isn't so expensive. I think i need one more expansion then i have it all. Sims4 however... way to expensive...
My unpopular opinion, even without CC or default replacements, the Sims 3 looks good. I've never felt like TS3 Sims were inherently ugly. Individual Sims, sure, but the same is true for Sims 2 and 4.
Sims 3 is a broken ugly mess. So many of my sims died that there was one household that was stuck in between life and death, meaning that the game thought there was a sim living there, yet he had died and you couldn't click on anything. Why wasn't this fixed when they were putting out updates for it :(
First of all, Sims 3 Graphics aren't bad, i like both Sims 3 and 4 graphics (that's my opinion) and second it is laggy and stutery which is poorly optimized, but glad there are no or few simulation lag, i would prefer a laggy, stutery, and crashy buggy Sims 3 over a smooth but took a long time to stand there like 3 hours (simulation lag) and very broken mess of a game like Sims 4.
Sims 3 does have some annoying things about it that the sims 4 did correctly For example the cas is lightyears better. A streamline experience. Which idk if Ppl consider cas gameplay but i kinda do Also stuff like traveling between worlds, and some of the family gameplay is better. There are more little interactions and gameplay stuff with the parenthood pack. Also better toddler and child lifestates. But the sims 2 did the best with that. I like family gameplay these days. Sims 3 children are kindaaaa lame idk like the sims 2 kids were hella goofy and unserious and just well… childlike But sims 3 in itself is focused around exploring the world and going out, centered around young adulthood/ adult gameplay so ig its kinda apples and oranges with that. Children in sims 3 is like a shitty lifestate with like barely anything going on. Also the kids all look the same and their faces are uncanny they look like little goblins and the clothes are ugly… Also in sims 3 i dont like how hard it is to get sims to do stuff in a group because they dont have the stuff from get together to better organize group outings and the sims dont rlly multitask so its rlly hard to maintain socialization… All that being said i do not play sims 4

Seeing you switch easily between lots without a loading screen...I might just go back to playing Sims 3
My boyfriend asked my why I even want to play ts3 if I have this problem (Lol once in 15 years) I just screamed "BLAME EA, TS3 IS INNOCENT!"😅
So. Performance issues in my game are either the mods fault or EAs fault 😅
Oh and of course the grafic card compatibility has to be there or at least the recognition.
completely agree, i like your way of seeing things haha and that’s so true the sims 3 visuals make it more versatile
No CC user here. I don’t mind the look. And with simler90’s huge core gameplay fix, townies get randomized features so everyone looks different.
Also.. now ALL store content is free. So many people have their own ”stores” where they have all the content for download :P
I think we r ALL broken ugly messes...
same 😅
I wish you had mentioned Rekowcski Simmer. His videos and tutorials are not only very informative but he's very entertaining. ☺
he’s great i’m a huge fan!
Made a whole difference for me!
lazy duchess and a cotton sock are carrying sims 3 on their back
I love ts3 and I'm so happy I resisted the urge to buy ts4 packs and bought ts3 instead.
And have a mod in place to fix the pudding faces randomly generated Sims if you don't want to bother so much with said sliders
i totally agree with all of what you said. i also don't have into the future and i don't feel like i NEED it. and yes, generations, world adventures and ambitions are the best eps for sure. the last two being criminally underrated. i have all the stuff packs and although they dont make a huge difference to the game, a LOT of cool items come with them so i like having them. i'd recommend getting the 70s 80s 90s stuff pack :)
My collection just lavks the movie stuff pack. I never felt like I needed it. But into thee future I also bought just to "complete" my expansion pack collection on my shelf😅❤
ahh i heard the 70s 80s 90s pack has some really cool stuff!
Honestly the pack is just 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
To answer your question: it can be. 😂
Playing Bridgeport was a mess back in the day. My biggest gripe was that venues were completely devoid of sims because the game decided the pc was too shit to send sims there. I got around it by downloading small lots but then they were overrun with too many sims. Drove me nuts but I still loved it.
yes!! Bridgeport is so cool but the routing is so hit or miss idk
I'm so happy to have found your channel. I love sims 3 content. I'm binging your monte vista series while I play
Yes ts4 is easier in the eyes but nothing beats ts3 gameplay
i completely agree the sims 3 store IMO at least is better than the way sims 4 does it. ala carte packs
Seconded on the packs, I don’t even have ALL of the packs but Sims 3 feels so full of content regardless. Loved it since the day I got it and the Ambitions ep back in high school.
You did a great job with your sims! The crocks and speedos (over share) 😂😂😂hilarious
Sims 3 is amazing! Still playing it after 14 years😊
Agree with you 100%! I am an old simmer and I find myself only playing Sims 3. Thank you for all your content, watch it all! Warm greetings from South Africa.😊
Thank you so much for your amazing content!! I discovered my old TS3 tumblr this week and realized I haven’t played since college started (2023). Your channel made me fall in love with the game again :,) I’ll definitely play this weekend
hey thank you for this comment! I appreciate it and hope you have a good time playing! 😊
i really like your house. it's a great example of the game's inexplicable appeal to me lol. i can never put it into words, but even dated, once you throw some CC in the art style just gives me the warm-fuzzies.
My first time playing the sims 3 was on my grandmas dell computer and that game ran and still runs like butter even now on my pc which is a gaming one
although ts3 has a lot of bugs, glitches and lag, I've found that most if not all of it can be remedied with a specific set of mods that optimize it and finagling the game to recognize your graphics card. it definitely isn't "plug and play" but once you get it going in good shape it can handle itself pretty well and still holds up game content and quality wise imo
I have every pack and its over whelming, i like having lots of build options but theres SO many game mechanics. Im sure theres a way to pick and choose but i havent figured it out yet.
🔥 take: the horses in sims 3 are great i love them and they are why im playing again lol
I recommend just trying them each in order
@@28_futaba I'm not sure what you mean
I keep coming back to Sims 3, I've played it since highschool (I'm 29 now) and up until now there's still so much content to discover❤
Si. And it's still peak
2 videos in 2 days? iconic
To be honest, the other reasons i go back to the sims 4 at all is the realistic pregnancy and child birth mods and build mode. That's it.
Otherwise, the sims 2 and 3 is far more enjoyable, with or without mods.
Facts ❤❤❤ I love this. And i really appreciate the consistency. 🎉🎉🎉 my birthday was yesterday so this is a great watch!!!
Such a shame because when it did work it was the best gameplay experience I’ve ever had since installing and mods and custom content.
thank you for the mention!! 🥹🤍
Most of my Sims 3 store stuff is missing now. When I play it offers me the chance to buy again all this stuff I used to own! The thing I hate most is I don’t own dragon valley anymore.😢
Omg love that youre feeding us with premium content (3 in one week beast mode)
UGLY?! JSLSK NO! As for running it, Windows XP ran it like BUTTER. 🤤 Makes me miss my old pc, LMFAO.
A crocs and a speedos you said?! Well gurl there better be a pic on the Community tab 🤣🤣
Cant wait to get a proper gaming pc
I had both the sims 3 and sims 4 on the same laptop for years. Ran terribly. But as soon as I uninstalled sims 4, I works GREAT. Sims 4 is the real enemy. /hj
haha it was sims 4 all along 😳
no one gonna talk about the 83000 simoleon bills
in terms of perfomance the sims 3 doess have some hiccups in my opinion but with some tweaking combined with the power of modern hardware its much more manageable. On the whole ugly sims thing I will admit the default sims are not the most visually appealing to me, I do like the stylization of the sims in the sims 4 more but I wouldn't exactly say the sims 3 sims are ugly, and hey with some mods and tweaks they can be improved.
so true! thank god for the mods they really save the game 🙏
One of the only reasons I don’t like the Sims 3 is because I love the Sims 4 graphics a lot
Sims 3 graphics are not for me
However I love it
Sims 3 is and always will be superior. Also, it wasn't and still isn't so expensive. I think i need one more expansion then i have it all. Sims4 however... way to expensive...
sims 3 might be laggy but it’s my favourite of all the games, i spent hundreds of hours on it when it came out to about 2014😂
My unpopular opinion, even without CC or default replacements, the Sims 3 looks good. I've never felt like TS3 Sims were inherently ugly. Individual Sims, sure, but the same is true for Sims 2 and 4.
I have The sims 3 in my PC. Its run smoothly in high setting than i use my laptop. My PC only use 8GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce GT1030 & Intel i3
Sims 3 is a broken ugly mess. So many of my sims died that there was one household that was stuck in between life and death, meaning that the game thought there was a sim living there, yet he had died and you couldn't click on anything. Why wasn't this fixed when they were putting out updates for it :(
Can you please post your exact computer specs googling your model gave me a few results and a $2500 price tag ouch expensive?
First of all, Sims 3 Graphics aren't bad, i like both Sims 3 and 4 graphics (that's my opinion) and second it is laggy and stutery which is poorly optimized, but glad there are no or few simulation lag, i would prefer a laggy, stutery, and crashy buggy Sims 3 over a smooth but took a long time to stand there like 3 hours (simulation lag) and very broken mess of a game like Sims 4.
I've been playing S3 lately, its been so much fun. I do have a Good computer, one that can handle World of Warcraft raids. 😂
glad you’re enjoying it!
My sims 3 runs good. Can’t max out graphics only thing
Sims 3 does have some annoying things about it that the sims 4 did correctly
For example the cas is lightyears better. A streamline experience. Which idk if
Ppl consider cas gameplay but i kinda do
Also stuff like traveling between worlds, and some of the family gameplay is better. There are more little interactions and gameplay stuff with the parenthood pack. Also better toddler and child lifestates.
But the sims 2 did the best with that. I like family gameplay these days. Sims 3 children are kindaaaa lame idk like the sims 2 kids were hella goofy and unserious and just well… childlike
But sims 3 in itself is focused around exploring the world and going out, centered around young adulthood/ adult gameplay so ig its kinda apples and oranges with that. Children in sims 3 is like a shitty lifestate with like barely anything going on. Also the kids all look the same and their faces are uncanny they look like little goblins and the clothes are ugly…
Also in sims 3 i dont like how hard it is to get sims to do stuff in a group because they dont have the stuff from get together to better organize group outings and the sims dont rlly multitask so its rlly hard to maintain socialization…
All that being said i do not play sims 4
What are you favourite sims 3 worlds? :) Custom or EA
Any world by Quailhogs
Currently playing Fortress Rock and hm the grunge. The seediness of it. Perfect for a vampire ghost hunter playthrough
i’m so lame i never played in a custom world but i really want to at some point. I’m a huge fan of monte vista and sunlit tides!
@@lamicadelcuore Salmon Woods is a smaller world with the same vibe and much less routing issues!

yayyyyy thank you so mcuhhhh yayyyy youre awesome you fantastic simussuer
Could you share your 16 gen family save ? Also all ur CC & mods .
💯 Agree 👍
I find the actual sims themselves so ugly
