It seems like you're more interested in content creation than golf. Which isn't what I'm interested in watching. I wanna see a guy giving his all to get his tour card and the content is just part of the process. That's just my 2¢. I'm glad you set goals for yourself. Sub 73 average is great! And a sub 65 round would be cool to see. Good luck this year sir!
I really appreciate your response, and at the start in 2023 I had to take time to consider what role I wanted content to play in the journey. I do want to reiterate that golf is my main priority and I have not lost sight of the fact that playing good golf is the bottom line for the success of this process. And to clarify my stance on content creation it comes down to a few things: 1. I'm an artist and storyteller at heart. I enjoy producing art, so I want my videos to be as high level as possible. I've also tried golf with no art in High School and that lead to burnout, I need a creative pass time to give me something outside of golf and to give me perspective on the game. 2. One of the main reasons I started this channel was to inspire people to continue to chase dreams and connect with others who want to revive things they gave up on. Making good videos allows me to connect with more people. 3. I dont have a sponsor or any financial backing at this point so financing something like pro golf is very difficult (and by 'very difficult' I mean impossible). In order to be able to chase this dream in any sustainable way I have to find income from somewhere that allows me to still practice and play as much as I need to. The goal with the content is to have ad revenue eventually get me to a point where I can fund the golf career. In order to get ad revenue you have to increase the number of followers and views; in order to increase the number of followers and views you have to put effort into content creation. I guess thats all a long way of saying, its kind of a "both and" situation. Good golf = better content and better content = more golf. I love making videos, getting to connect with people, and this will one day help fund the golf. But golf always takes priority, thats while I dont have a super consistent upload schedule, I shoot videos when I have time. I never miss a workout or practice to shoot a video.
@benutahgolf Yeah, this all makes. That was just what I took away from your video. Your previous video all showcases golf, and it was how I wanted to watch, so I didnt think you would change *that* much, which is good from my point of view. Excited to see your progress this year! I'm a 4 handicap and really want to get to scratch or very close this year myself. Watching videos like yours helps inspire me

best of luck on your journey! did you say you went from a 6hcp to a +handicap in a year?
Thank you! and it was a little over a year, like 15-16 months.
