It tak 2 minutes to paint a bezel: when you apply the paint immidiately take off the overflow gently but fastly with your finger after that lets dry 5min and redo many times until get a perfect result
Let it dry after painting, and take the edge of a credit card or any plastic card, and scrape off the over paint. Great job. Don’t listen to non paid Rolex sponsors
He hasn´t destroyed it, it´s only paint! Sending it back for service would cost a couple of hundret dollars, I know Rolex they would just replace the whole bazel instead of painting the numbers professionaly to become more money from the customer.
@@stormrider01 This is a replica. The service would cost more then the watch. And Rolex wouldn't service this. He's just demonstrating paint techniques.
Now you are ready to satin finish that bezel... It looks a little rough. Great tutorial though. On another note, the original doesn't have these problems... The paint doesn't just scrape off. Regards
Hi.lm in this situation l want to put some lume. Can you share any link of how to do it.lm still looking for it but didnt find.Probably l will do a video myself
@@atilondon I just bought some gun sight lume from Amazon comes in a tiny bottle. I just added it via a tooth pick. You'll want it on top of white paint for best results but mine worked fine. It wasn't on a very expensive watch but it came out well enough for me.
I'm afraid your Explorer II is a clone...the cyclops magnifying factor and the weak bezel numbers paint cover (it would be a lot harder to scrape the ink if it was an original one) are a signal you bought a replica. I'm very sorry to tell you that ! Did you try to open it to check the movement ? Regards.
Poor quality job, but then it is a replica, look closely for the givway sign in the video. If you work with watches as I do, it is very obvious, but then he knows it's a replica otherwise you would not do this to a Rolex and make it unsaleable in the market ( other than to some innocent person thinking they were getting a bargain ).

Good Diy. With some practice it might look better.
Why didn't you take the bezel off to do this?
No worry, its only paint! It isn´t destroyed, you can clean the paint off with azetone and boom, back to normal.

Filigrane Arbeit 👌🏽
Does this hold up in water like swimming or diving ?
Honestly - just send it in for a service or leave it alone

Tell me you dont know anything about this subject without actually telling me.
Is the bezel to be removed from Explorer 2? There are some scratches on me.
I'm considering applying a lume paint to a watch bezel. There is some for gun sights on Amazon anyone have any success with doing that?

Technique for painting the back side of my Vokey wedges... not my watches! No lumpiness! That's right! Lol
Yep, I used to paint my Scotty Cameron putters. Going to give it a try with my watch. Same technique applies (pardon the pun)!
