Item list:
- 3 charcoal, 5 papyrus, 2 lockpicks
- 2 gold bars (potentially 4 or 6 depending on smithing lvl)
- hammer, rope, any pickaxe, a rune or dragon axe
- 2 unpowered orb, twice the runes for any charge orb spell
- 1 vial of water
- 1 cut gem of Opal, jade, red topaz, sapphire, emerald, ruby and diamond)
- 1 soul rune, mind rune, earth rune, 2 law runes
Teleports:
- 1 Camelot teleport, 2 to shilo village (ardy tele + 30+200gp) and one back to legends’ guild (ardy)
- 1 tai bwo wannai scroll to get the ardrigal and snake weed herbs quicker
- Armor, weapon and good healing food for:
--- 3 demons of cb187 which only uses melee when you’re up close, else it will use magic
---cb70 wolves, cb90 savages, cb 83 bats
- 4 Prayer potions for the boss fights as well as to bless the bowl
- weight reducing armor and 2 stamina potions
- A strength potion if you have around 56 strength, 3 dwarven stouts if you have near 52 mining
Start: bring your 2k cash and 2+ empty inventory slots.

This is by far the best quest guide I have ever seen.
1. you never made a mistake and forced us to retravel to an area or the bank.
2. you spoke clearly, and it was easy to understand you
3. you always knew what you were doing
4. you didn't skip forward, you just played the whole quest out making it much easier on me to keep track of everything.

yep, its every quest. Its only there so you have the items in your bank, all you gotta do is search em when he says its time to use it. No big deal
whenever you see noted items you know you won't need it all, especially when you see he's standing in a BANK with noted items and not already at the quest start

This was my first time doing this quest and Oh boy. I was getting annoyed again. Sometimes by the quest itself but mainly by my constant bad explanations and some mistakes. Had to redo many things to make to try to make it more fluid or right.
(deleted 47 unnecessary footage). Hopefully the guide has helped you out and that you could laugh at my frustrations during the quest :)

Ive been using your quest guides from 50 QP up until the last requirement for Recipe for Disaster, and you have made me gone from hating runescape questing to actually enjoying it and being excited to tackle this quest. I've been giving you a like on every video I click on, haha. Good stuff man! Feels like having a quest marker in Elder Scrolls when you play it on half the screen and play along with it.
What is with this quest? Clicks climb over rock. Do you want to climb over rock? Yeah, that's why I clicked it. Made me so frustrated having to confirm every single action throughout the quest.
This is a much older quest, came out in RS classic, so all the extra dialog to do stuff was normal with older quests jagex never updated it.

Honestly if you make a mistake, you always fix it. Plus, I find the little editing pictures of the items you are supposed to have over the inventory space hilarious. Your guides are top notch man, I have gone from 35 to 150 QP right now and doing this one, working my way to barrows then QPC with your guides. Never have any issues. Thanks so much!
When you think you're nearly done but you're only 40 minutes in...
0:00-3:05 intro, items required for whole quest ( i suggest you use runelite plug in "inventory setups" to take a screenshot of all these items and that way when you view your bank only these items will come up at first) I also recommend to have ardy teleport unlocked for easier access to brimhaven by boat
3:20 initial inventory setup + (i would also bring an ardy tele (2water runes 2 law runes+completed plague city quest)/ardy cloak to tele back instead of run to the docks for brimhaven next)
3:20-4:00 running from ardy bank to legends guild quest start (talk to guard options: 3, 1, 2)
4:30 enter legends guild talk to Radimus Erkle (1, 1) get notes from him, search cupboard to take machete
5:14-6:34 go to Shilo Village bank, take the cart from hajady outside brimhaven docks
6:34-7:20 banking+setting up
7:24 quick last look at inv+gear before entering Kharazi jungle
7:56 talk to jungle forester (1,1,3)
8:22- 9:04 how to get thru initial jungle to enter the rest of the kharazi (drop your logs it's deadweight)
9:04-10:00 mapping out eastern area
10:00-10:46 getting to and mapping out the center of the jungle (look for the totem pole)
11:00-11:45 finishing the western mapping
11:45-12:20 go back to speak with any jungle forester
12:21 use your notes on the forester (chat option 1) DO NOT SWING BULL ROARER NEXT TO JUNGLE FORESTER THEY WILL ATTACK YOU
13:00 cut thru the jungle again with the bull roarer this time
13:40 swing the bull roarer inside the jungle to speak to gujuo (1,1,1,1,1,1,1)
14:45 search rocks in the northwest to crawl thru, you may fail to crawl thru and take 5 damage, just try again (now this is an old quest so all the obstacle options inside of this cave will also have a chatbox come up afterwards, expect this to take some time, its old, its annoying, it needs an update)
15:05 investigate the fire (1,1)
15:30 investigate the fire again ask who he is (2,2)
15:40-16:20 leave the cave to go talk to gujuo again
16:21 swing bull roarer in a safe place talk to gujuo (3,4,1,2,1,2)
17:05 tele to camelot run to seers bank, use gold bars on anvil next door to make gold bowl
17:20-18:55 getting back to shilo village bank make sure to have coins (tele to ardy, boat to brimhaven, cart to shilo)
18:56- 20:50 Banking & setting up (DONT FORGET ANY GEMS I FORGOT RUBY)
20:51-22:00 getting back in the jungle swing bull roarer have gujuo bless the bowl
23:30 bowl finally blessed
23:33 gujuo (3,3)
24:22 water at center, machete on tall reeds, siphon water into the bowl (if you have to teleport out of the cave because you forgot an item you will have to come back here to refill the bowl as the water will evaporate)
25:00 head back to the cave northwest rocks
25:20 search empty bookshelf you may fail to go thru just try again
25:35 important to listen to slayermusiq for how the door works
27:00 smash the boulders, use strength for the next door, drop the rock in your inv, run past the bats
28:00 use SMELL on the marked wall (Soul,Mind,Earth,Law,Law)
28:30 use gems on the carved rocks in pools in right order
30:12 take the binding book and read it
30:25 go back to the fire wall
use the bowl to get thru right click to use binding book on ungadulu, fight the demon, have at least 16hp as he will fire blast you after the fight
RIGHT CLICK UNGADULU OTHERWISE HE WILL HIT YOU FOR DAMAGE AND PUSH YOU OUT OF THE FLAME WALL
35:00 get extra yommi tree seeds
35:40 head back to the water in the center
36:30 use bowl on seeds, machete on reed to refill bowl, water disappears, swing bull roarer to talk to gujuo again make sure the water is gone when u talk w him(1,2,3,3,4,4)
~you don't actually need to rebank here if you keep everything on you it makes things faster rather than banking twice maybe just grab another stamina~
38:20 go bank, u can tele or go back to shilo get ready to go collect tai bwo wannai resources (if you have used slayermusiq's guides for the quests leading up to this you may already have these resources stashed in your bank FYI because in those previous quests he let us know to take extra) snake weed, ardigal
39:00 getting the grimy snake weed
40:00 getting the grimy ardigal
40:01-41:50 go back to shilo village bank (tele ardy, boat brimhaven, cart shilo)
44:04 last look at inv while at bank before heading back to the cave now return to the gem room
47:38 in the gem room with the pools go north, use charge orb spell on the ancient gate
48:20 use rope on winch, drink bravery potion before climbing down
MAKE SURE HP IS ABOVE 40 COULD FALL ALL THE WAY DOWN FOR DAMAGE
~have 3 inv slots empty for the crystal pieces you will receive from killing skeletons~
50:00 talk to san tojalon to fight him, run east do same for irvig senay and more east talk to and kill ranalph devere
52:35 head north east to melt crystals in the furnace
53:20 use heart crystal on mossy rock in the center of the room
53:40 southeast at shimmering field use heart on recess on east wall to pass thru
54:00 run west past lesser demons to push boulder talk to spirit (2,3,1,1,1)
55:30 tele to ardy, boat to brimhaven, cart to shilo
56:45 bank& setup
57:10 get back to the fire wall
59:00 investigate fire wall, use dark dagger on ungadulu
59:26 go to the gem room with the pools
1:00:50 use charge orb spell on the ancient gate, climb back down
1:02:21 go back to the boulder, push it, dont talk to the spirit, cast the holy force on it and fight the demon that spawns
1:03:40 tele out, restore stats, return to shilo village bank
1:05:35 bank & inv setup
1:06:25 ready to go back to fight last demon
1:07:11 but first must return to water pool swing bull roarer talk to gujuo (1)
1:08:00-1:09:11 use the yommi seeds on the fertile soil use the bowl of water on it to make it an adult tree and continue using your axe on the tree for every stage of the tree until you can lift the totem into your inv, time is a factor here so be quick otherwise you will not be able to
1:09:40 go east to the first totem pole you see, turn on protect from melee, use your totem pole on the standing totem pole, kill the demon
1:11:11 use your totem on the totem again. tele to ardy, go back to legends guild
1:12:00 talk to radimus erkle in first house then inside the guild to finish quest
7,650exp 4 times for any of these skills:
for either att, def, str, hp, pray, mage, wc, crafting, smithing, herblore, agility, thieving
be sure to buy extra legends capes at the top of the building, very useful cheap equipment for doing clues in the wildy and whatnot
and if you bring skills necklaces/combat bracelets to charge at the totem in the guild you will complete an ardougne hard diary task

For those who have 50 mining, you need a Dwarven stout (m), otherwise when you try to smash the boulder at 26:02 it will say you need 52 mining to mine the rock.

Thanks for this guide, have been putting off and dreading Legends Quest as I remember doing it 15+ years ago as a kid and struggling through it... This time around it was a piece of cake! On to Dragon Slayer 2!
TIP: guys for the black demons bring Arclight its much easier you literally kill him without needing any prayer pots AND bring ardougne cape(1 at least) which is really useful cause it teleports you to ardy right next to an altar and near the port. Not a simple quest, so not the most simple guide to make. Mistakes are inevitable. But any mistake made was too minor to set me back. Great guide
btw guy do not teleport with your golden bowl of water... itll disappear and you have to redo the whole process to obtaining the water again.

Incredible job! This quest guide is still flawless. I just did completed the quest last night for the time in... 15 years? I remember it taking...three..four..five hours? I honestly can't remember but I know I didn't complete it in one session. I remember being endlessly frustrated by it! Today? I just started this video, opened a beer, and 90 minutes later (and a few more beers) I'm done! Not once was I frustrated. Thank you for that!

dude even 6 years later and you're still comin thru clutch. to everyone tryna fuck around w runelite, turn that shit off and do what slayermusiq says, i kept getting stuck and confused and turned around, finally pulled this vid up on my phone and finished the entire quest without a single hiccup. dumped 120k xp into agility. stay on the grind kings, it's a marathon not a sprint

One of the GREAAAATEST quests I have completed in my life, I highly recommend completing it because not only does it offer 120k EXP, but it also gives you a pleasant experience of Master category quests!!

2 things that i enjoy about your guides more than others: 1) You guide in real time. I literally play and keep the game client small enough so that i watch and i follow along with 0 delays, pausing or skipping when necessary is easy, and 2) the background runescape music lol

I'm guessing this is guide is outdated because when I finished this quest. I was able to choose 4 skills with 30,000xp each. Anyways thanks Slayer I watch all your quest guides you never disappoint with a guide.
First time completing this quest on my journey to quest cape. I knew it was gona be a long one, but I wasn't any bit discouraged bc I knew this guide would would be quick, efficient and easy to follow regardless of my expierence. I follow along with this guide during the quest, and my only critique is maybe warn the audience to stop and watch if the next few actions seem crucial and confusing so they would be ready. Keep up the good work
Kill a bat inside the cave for Karamja hard task yes
But also when youre ending the quest and need to go to the legends guild --> take a jewellery with you (combat bracelet, amulet of glory etc.) after completing the quest, use one of those on the totem like he suggests because it's a Ardougne Hard diary req. :)
This quest is a huge pain in the ass with all the pointless backtracking and skill checks, a curse upon the devs that worked on this quest. But thanks for the stellar guide as always ❤

I feel so bad that you forgot the mining boost but oh my god was that reaction relatable and hilarious.
For those who haven't started the quest yet or are annoyed by the mining portion, there is a "Dwarven Stout (4)" item in the GE (which is just 4 doses of Dwarven stout, and boosts by 1), and also a "Dwarven Stout (m4)" (4 doses that boost your mining level by 2). Also, don't forget a super restore, as these drain your combat stats.

Thankyou so much! this was super helpful and such a pain to complete especially having below 52 mining, 50 agility and 50 woodcutting, btw if you have stats below that i suggest bringing atleast 10 dwarven stout(m) a couple summer pies and lastly one axemans folly(m) (required at the end of the quest).

Not sure if anyone has said it yet but killing a deathwing in the fire octagon dungeon is a hard karamja task so might as well whap one while you're running through if you're able.

What a terribly annoying quest that was, I almost lost 10 mil to that demon and a full graceful. And if the demon kills you, you need to take another charcoal and start remapping to enter the jungle - what a nightmare. Thank you so much for your guides man, you're awesome!

Had to take like 3 breaks. This is such a long quest. Good vid.
It was so satisfying see him fail to bless the bowl so many times as usually when I follow his guides he does everything first time and I'm the one failing :D
If it was unknown.. USEFUL for Ironmen.. At the end of the quest, let the yommi tree die, takes like 30 secs, and chop it down and you have a chance to receive magic logs.. I repeated this until I had the 12 magic logs for DT since I'm not 75 WC, then completed LQ.. You get 1-3 logs and it's pretty common if you take out the fact that you get no logs or plant incorrectly.. Less than 100 seeds used in total
