Yes, you can renew your passport and change the address details in new passport. You can apply under tatkaal scheme if you need it urgently. But you need to submit an address proof for your new address.

Anexure E par kisi bhi officer se stamp or signature nahi karvana hai. Sirf A4 sheet par print karke form fill karna hai.

In October 2020, the Indian government has decided to allow its overseas citizens to add their local address in their country of residence mainly to aid those who do not have permanent or valid addresses in India. This was especially for overseas citizens living in UAE.

I would suggest you to confirm this from Passport Seva Kendra also.

@@Electrocombot Thanks ! Just for info, I gave my old Indian address which was there in previous passport and there was no verification. I got my new one in 3 weeks. They only verify if you give a new address.

1. If you are abroad, you need to contact the respective Indian mission/post of that country.
2. As police verification will take place, so you need to fill the address where you are staying at present.
3. For any information and suggestions on Passport services, please call at 1800-258-1800 (Toll Free).
4. Get in touch with Indian mission present in that country. You can search that using official website.

@@Electrocombot hi , nice to see yours sincerity , I had applied for reissue of my 11 years old passport and on appointment they asked for original Divorce paper to change the old spouse name , I have marriage certificate issued by registrar bot not having Orignal divorce paper but I have the photo copy of divorce decree, What to do on my next appointment date ? Form E and original marriage certificate will do ?
Its so weird everybody online is teaching how to fill Annexure E when its already so straight forward but nobody's talking about, in case of passport re-issue due to name change, the Annexure E should be filled with old name or future desired name? Please someone reply.

Boss we need any officers stamp on the form...

No stamp is required from any officer based on latest rules. You can fill annexure E on A4 sheet and fill it. No need to visit any gazetted officer.

Based on the latest application guidelines present on the Passport Seva website, Annexure E is not mentioned in it for minors.
You need the following documents: ( it varies on a case to case basis as mentioned on page 8 of PDF )
1. Either/ Both parent(s) hold a valid Passport with spouse name endorsed :
(i) Address Proof (of parents), Proof of date of birth (of the minor), Attested photocopy of passport (with spouse name endorsed)
(ii) Annexure C (one parent not given consent) or Annexure D (signed by both parents)
2. Neither of the parents holds a valid Passport
(i) Address Proof (of parents), Proof of date of birth (of the minor)
(ii) Annexure C (one parent not given consent) or Annexure D (signed by both parents)
(iii) Out of turn documents (any three) ( portal1.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/popuponline/AttachmentAdvisorSub?subDocID=7003&minorFlag=1 )

What i have to write resifing at my india address or canada address where i m living currently.
Hey i live in Canada and sent the documents to renew my passport. BLS sent back all my documents and ask to fill Annexure E form along with the application. I am just confused that which address should i fill in the form my Indian address or my current address?? please reply ASAP.

What we do in case of minor passport on signature. Can parents sign on it.or minor thumb is work.
