Colors are good but more interested in the grip on the sides and back with the aramid fiber. Sounds like the military grade case has smooth fiber instead of textured which I’m kinda sad to hear and I’m assuming that is true for the sides of the case as well. I too would expect more for $80 usd which is why I’ve passed on this case. Interesting to hear that you do notice the better weaving on the pitaka than the benks so maybe the extra money is good for something.
Hi, I am blind and was wondering could you help? I am looking for one of these cases for my iPhone 16+ in white and could you tell me which one suits white the best as they have colour names instead of actual colour? Thanks
Nice review man! If you had to choose between the Pitaka woven (assuming no gap issue like you got) and the Benks ArmorAir, which would you say is your favorite?
ooh yeah I had a Thinborne I really liked a previous phone, bummer they upped their pricing quite a bit this year though ($70 vs ~$40 for pitaka/benks here in the US). Looking forward to your aramid case roundup!
@@5abivt $100 piece of plastic. I have two high end 3D printers can print PC, Nylon, TPU materials. I can tell you the cost of those plastic to print one is 0.20 cents. This is why I said - it's expensive.
The Mil Grade case for iPhone 16 PM is lousy. Worst $80 I've spent on a case. I don't know how anyone could pass this off as Mil Grade protection when the lip of the case doesn't protect the screen. The case itself is beautiful, I'll give them that but I don't even know this is aramid fiber or a printed design. My Caudabe Sheath has both more screen protection but texture. Synthesis has even more screen protection to it with minimal bulk. They need to fix this and offer replacements to customers. Major design flaw!
I bought this case too and had the same problem with the front lip. I reached pitaka about this problem and they sent me for free an updated version of the case that now have front protection.
I used to be a big Pitaka fan until last year's Pitaka full protection case scratched the volume buttons on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. No shit. Never buying anything from them ever again.
I love the colors, how about you?
Had one for my 15 pro max, once I got my 16 PM also got one of these. Never had an issue with quality

Yeah they are pretty smooth as far as grip goes, on every model. But the most texture you’ll find on the tactile woven line

there are no white ones unfortunatley they are all either colors or black
@ ok thanks, cheers for the reply 👍🏻

Very close to be honest, still think the thinborne is very good too. Soon the best aramid fiber case video aswell

It’s a pity they won’t update the covered top and bottom to iPhone 15 pros
They are so expensive…
I have never understood why people say a $100 case is too expensive when the top spec phone is like $3000 (Canadian) 🤔

@@tinymito Cool in that case let me just buy a $1000 3D printer and materials just to make a “$0.20” case. Fantastic analysis there buddy.
@@Ikram232 lol what made you think I bought a 3d printer just for printing phone cases? What kind of logic argument is that?
This case isn’t made of plastic. It’s a high quality product, and I just bought this case on a cyber Monday sale for 50$(Canadian)

Sheath is king in quality and minimal design
The brand name on the back of the case ruins the whole esthetics.
80 bucks for a tpu case is WILD
The clicky buttons make great ASMR material.
Connecticut here 🍂🐿
Goodmorning in that case! 😁

Oh no, I just received me :(
