Idk what they are supposed to be in this version but the original story is : Miku (played by Marinette here) is a human, but a beautiful and lovely woman. Then you have Rin (who is actually a girl but is played by Luka here) who is an angel that fell on earth. Miku is the one who found her and decide to take care of her. It's love by first sight. Why I like lukanette more: Mari doesn't really know Adrien and Adrien doesn't really know Mari. Mari sees Adrien as flawless. She placed him on a pedestal. A pedestal that was too high for her to reach. She had such high expectations from him that she degraded herself around him without noticing it. She felt like he was superior to her, that's why she can barely even talk properly around him. That's not healthy! The reason Mari is so comfortable around Luka is that she got to know him in and out. She saw all the things he was amazing at and she saw where he was considered flawed. When she first met Luka, she saw how skilled he was at the guitar and how he was one of the best musicians at school, but as they grew as friends, she noticed that he places others before himself more than he should. He forgets about his happiness for the happiness of others. Then, there was the situation with silencer. Mari never saw Luka so upset before, she never saw him lose his temper until that day but even after that event, she still saw Luka as an amazing person, flaws and all. When Mari is with Luka, she feels like she's on a more even playing field. She never placed Luka on a higher pedestal than hers. That's why she's so comfortable around him. She doesn't focus on his perfections alone, as she does with Adrien, and she never focuses on her flaws around him, either. That's what a healthy relationship should look like! Adrien, however, never fell in love with Mari. Yes, there are signs that he is developing some sort of crush on her, but Adrien will never accept Mari the way she is unless she's Ladybug. Let's be real guys, Mari is a complete different person when she's Ladybug. She becomes flawless! Some of you might say "But Ladybug IS Marinette". That, I must say, is where you're wrong. Ladybug could be LITERALLY anyone! Adrien's only lucky that Mari is Ladybug! Adrien fell in love with the perfect side of Marinette, not the clumsy, unlucky girl she really is. When he finds out someone else loves Ladybug, he gets a bit nasty and could hurt them in a way or try to keep them apart (Proof is in one of the episodes but I forgot which one so-). Basically, Chat Noir/Adrien couldn't let go of Ladybug because he loves her, but Luka lets her go because he loves her. Luka is much more mature and level-headed when it comes to love, plus, he KNOWS what he wants! He knows what's right for Mari and he's willing to give up everything just to make her happy. Adrien/Chat Noir, acts more like a child. He doesn't know what he wants, he doesn't treat Mari the way she deserves and his love for her isn't healthy. Marinette doesn't really love Adrien, and Adrien doesn't really love Marinette. It's just hormones. *I rest my case.*

Well, the big thing with Lukanette is they’re natural together and neither is awkward... But if you’re saying you love Lukanette because Luka likes Mari for her flaws then I think you need to realize that so does Adrien. Adrien fell in love with Ladybug after seeing her at her very worst clumbsy, self-conscious everything... after she tried to run away from her responsibilities then came back and almost gave up again. He convinced her not to give up and then he fell in love with the girl who, though she was scared and clumbsy and unsure of herself, did what had to be done and saved everyone. And poor Adrien doesn’t have a chance with Marinette who barely talks to him and always acts weird and uncomfortable around him. He isn’t even sure she likes him as a friend even though he still sees her as a friend. He’s ignored her faults when most people would have shunned her or just turned away for her weird ass behaviour. If you love someone you don’t stalk them and breach their trust by keeping tabs on their every move. Face it, she would have had to stalk him on the internet and in real life to get his whole schedule most likely because as a famous model his schedule wouldn’t be readily available for his own safety. Especially where the show is going it would fit marinette maturation of finally either telling Adrien her feeling (probably get rejected) or see she idolized him and getting to know him better he's a better friend then love. I am definitely more of an Adrienette fan. Here’s why... Adrien has always been sweet and caring with Marinette despite their rough start. Perhaps if their start hadn’t been so rough he may have fallen for her before he fell for Ladybug. Unfortunately, Adrien, like Marinette, is a one person only kind of guy. He wouldn’t pursue Marinette while in love with Ladybug as that wouldn’t be fair to her. Plus, Adrien fell in love with Ladybug after seeing the real her. The clumbsy, flaky, ridiculous girl behind the mask before she finally got her Ladybug confidence. Adrien fell in love with a girl who, when the world needed her, put her fears and worries and self-consciousness aside to do what needed to be done. That is why he fell in love with her. Plus, the boy doesn’t have a chance. It isn’t like he and Marinette talk much because Marinette can’t have a conversation with him. Adrien is a naive sheltered boy who is clueless and doesn’t have the social skills to realize Marinette’s stuttering and stuff means she has a crush on him. He’s never had friends before other then Chloe and Kagame and both those girls have no social skills to speak of. The boy has shown how much he cares about Marinette on many occasions, protecting her, helping her when she was being accused of stuff by Lila, catching the watch she dropped, not caring that she is a complete weirdo flake fest, etc. Face it... any normal person would have stopped even going near her after the first season of this weirdo craziness coming from her. They would have been too uncomfortable to keep hanging around a girl who can’t even have a conversation with them. With how sheltered Adrien was, I wouldn’t be surprised if Adrien truly thinks Marinette still hates him due to the first day they met. After all, she avoids him, makes ridiculous excuses for things, can barely talk to him, is clearly uncomfortable around him and has gone as far as to walk into a wall in an attempt to get away from him. How is the boy supposed to assume she’s in love with him? And she basically handed Kagame the win in the end of season 3, giving up the fight. Marinette, on the other hand, fell in love with Adrien simply because he gave her an umbrella. Not to mention she has a seriously creepy, stalker, fan vibe going on. The girl has a schedule of the boy’s every coming and going too... somehow she still doesn’t know he’s Cat Noir though. XD Cat Noir is always there and cute and funny and desperately trying to win her affection with the real him and she just keeps pushing him away. Adrien loves her for all of her but she doesn’t yet love him for all of him. Luka is a sweetheart though and super mature. He is really social and knows when a girl has a crush. He hasn’t ever shown any interest in Ladybug but does truly like Marinette. Them being together wouldn’t be a bad thing but I truly think Luka would be a great influence on Kagame who struggles badly with social skills due to her sheltered upbringing. As for Nathaniel, I love him to death, but as crazy and ludicrous as it seems... I want to see that boy with Chloe because I truly feel he could make her a better person and it would be cute to find out her teasing and bullying of him is her way of hiding her crush on the sweet little tomato head.

This is one of those ships where I ship something else way more, but I won’t be mad if this becomes cannon. I feel like this ship, as cute as it is, is slightly forced just to make tension in a love triangle and Mari would get into a relationship with luka only to be “I’m sorry luka” “it’s okay, now go get him Mari” later.

That's because it's a different singer altogether haha, I haven't quite read the lyrics yet but I'm assuming it goes from Marinette (Miku)'s to Luka/Adrien (Rin/Len)'s POV, hence the switch.
It’s the angel’s point of view the whole time, the angel was originally Rin (Luka), then she disguised herself as a man (adrien), switching the singer from female to male. Then at the end it switches back so that the girl can see that it was the angel all long right as she sacrificed herself. At least, that’s my interpretation. Hope this helps!

Why I like lukanette more:
Mari doesn't really know Adrien and Adrien doesn't really know Mari. Mari sees Adrien as flawless. She placed him on a pedestal. A pedestal that was too high for her to reach. She had such high expectations from him that she degraded herself around him without noticing it. She felt like he was superior to her, that's why she can barely even talk properly around him. That's not healthy!
The reason Mari is so comfortable around Luka is that she got to know him in and out. She saw all the things he was amazing at and she saw where he was considered flawed. When she first met Luka, she saw how skilled he was at the guitar and how he was one of the best musicians at school, but as they grew as friends, she noticed that he places others before himself more than he should. He forgets about his happiness for the happiness of others.
Then, there was the situation with silencer. Mari never saw Luka so upset before, she never saw him lose his temper until that day but even after that event, she still saw Luka as an amazing person, flaws and all.
When Mari is with Luka, she feels like she's on a more even playing field. She never placed Luka on a higher pedestal than hers. That's why she's so comfortable around him. She doesn't focus on his perfections alone, as she does with Adrien, and she never focuses on her flaws around him, either. That's what a healthy relationship should look like!
Adrien, however, never fell in love with Mari. Yes, there are signs that he is developing some sort of crush on her, but Adrien will never accept Mari the way she is unless she's Ladybug. Let's be real guys, Mari is a complete different person when she's Ladybug. She becomes flawless! Some of you might say "But Ladybug IS Marinette". That, I must say, is where you're wrong.
Ladybug could be LITERALLY anyone! Adrien's only lucky that Mari is Ladybug! Adrien fell in love with the perfect side of Marinette, not the clumsy, unlucky girl she really is. I'm 100% sure that if Mari wasn't ladybug and Kagami was, Adrien would pick Kagami over Mari in a heartbeat.
Adrien doesn't KNOW Marinette and he never saw her as anything more than just a friend. The proof that Adrien really doesn't deserve Mari is in Chat Blanc. Adrien only accepted Mari because she was "Ladybug". It was never purely Marinette! That just pisses me off because Mari deserves someone that loves her for who she really is, not because she's some badass chick with a yo-yo.
When Luka first met Marinette, the first thing he saw was how clumsy and flawed she was, yet, he still loved her. Adrien, on the other hand, only noticed Mari's perfections which only shows in her Ladybug form.
Luka gives Mari her space, he's patient with her and he never rushes her into anything. He knows she loves Adrien, yet, he supports her and protects her either way. Luka is willing to let her go if it means she'll be happy.
Adrien, or chat noir, is clingy and he keeps forcing himself on her. When he finds out someone else loves Ladybug, he gets a bit nasty and could hurt them in a way or try to keep them apart (Proof is in one of the episodes but I forgot which one so-). Basically, Chat Noir/Adrien couldn't let go of Ladybug because he loves her, but Luka lets her go because he loves her.
Luka is much more mature and level-headed when it comes to love, plus, he KNOWS what he wants! He knows what's right for Mari and he's willing to give up everything just to make her happy. Adrien/Chat Noir, acts more like a child. He doesn't know what he wants, he doesn't treat Mari the way she deserves and his love for her isn't healthy.
Marinette doesn't really love Adrien, and Adrien doesn't really love Marinette. It's just hormones.

Well, the big thing with Lukanette is they’re natural together and neither is awkward...
But if you’re saying you love Lukanette because Luka likes Mari for her flaws then I think you need to realize that so does Adrien. Adrien fell in love with Ladybug after seeing her at her very worst clumbsy, self-conscious everything... after she tried to run away from her responsibilities then came back and almost gave up again. He convinced her not to give up and then he fell in love with the girl who, though she was scared and clumbsy and unsure of herself, did what had to be done and saved everyone.
And poor Adrien doesn’t have a chance with Marinette who barely talks to him and always acts weird and uncomfortable around him. He isn’t even sure she likes him as a friend even though he still sees her as a friend. He’s ignored her faults when most people would have shunned her or just turned away for her weird ass behaviour. And despite being close to Cat Noir, who is Adrien when he is free to be more himself, though clearly a little over the top due to being held back so long, Marinette just doesn’t have much interest in him.
self_ well in one of her dear diary videos she admits that if Adrien didn’t exist she’d probably give him a chance. The big thing that creeps me out with Marinette is the stalker behaviour like having his whole life written on a calendar so she can follow him around...

Perri Potter oh that’s very true. It has nothing to do with his modelling but her behaviour is as if she was simply a fan as opposed to someone who truly cares about him as a human being. If you love someone you don’t stalk them and breach their trust by keeping tabs on their every move. Face it, she would have had to stalk him on the internet and in real life to get his whole schedule most likely because as a famous model his schedule wouldn’t be readily available for his own safety. And even if she is supposedly his friend, she can barely talk to him to be able to ask him about his schedule.

I love lukanette! Especially where the show is going it would fit marinette maturation of finally either telling Adrien her feeling (probably get rejected) or see she idolized him and getting to know him better he's a better friend then love. Luka liked marinette from the start and was always there to support her.

I am definitely more of an Adrienette fan. Here’s why... Adrien has always been sweet and caring with Marinette despite their rough start. Perhaps if their start hadn’t been so rough he may have fallen for her before he fell for Ladybug. Unfortunately, Adrien, like Marinette, is a one person only kind of guy. He wouldn’t pursue Marinette while in love with Ladybug as that wouldn’t be fair to her. Plus, Adrien fell in love with Ladybug after seeing the real her. The clumbsy, flaky, ridiculous girl behind the mask before she finally got her Ladybug confidence. Adrien fell in love with a girl who, when the world needed her, put her fears and worries and self-consciousness aside to do what needed to be done. That is why he fell in love with her. Plus, the boy doesn’t have a chance. It isn’t like he and Marinette talk much because Marinette can’t have a conversation with him. Adrien is a naive sheltered boy who is clueless and doesn’t have the social skills to realize Marinette’s stuttering and stuff means she has a crush on him. He’s never had friends before other then Chloe and Kagame and both those girls have no social skills to speak of. The boy has shown how much he cares about Marinette on many occasions, protecting her, helping her when she was being accused of stuff by Lila, catching the watch she dropped, not caring that she is a complete weirdo flake fest, etc. Face it... any normal person would have stopped even going near her after the first season of this weirdo craziness coming from her. They would have been too uncomfortable to keep hanging around a girl who can’t even have a conversation with them. With how sheltered Adrien was, I wouldn’t be surprised if Adrien truly thinks Marinette still hates him due to the first day they met. After all, she avoids him, makes ridiculous excuses for things, can barely talk to him, is clearly uncomfortable around him and has gone as far as to walk into a wall in an attempt to get away from him. How is the boy supposed to assume she’s in love with him? And she basically handed Kagame the win in the end of season 3, giving up the fight.
Marinette, on the other hand, fell in love with Adrien simply because he gave her an umbrella. Not to mention she has a seriously creepy, stalker, fan vibe going on. The girl has a schedule of the boy’s every coming and going too... somehow she still doesn’t know he’s Cat Noir though. XD Cat Noir is always there and cute and funny and desperately trying to win her affection with the real him and she just keeps pushing him away. Adrien loves her for all of her but she doesn’t yet love him for all of him.
Luka is a sweetheart though and super mature. He is really social and knows when a girl has a crush. He hasn’t ever shown any interest in Ladybug but does truly like Marinette. Them being together wouldn’t be a bad thing but I truly think Luka would be a great influence on Kagame who struggles badly with social skills due to her sheltered upbringing.
As for Nathaniel, I love him to death, but as crazy and ludicrous as it seems... I want to see that boy with Chloe because I truly feel he could make her a better person and it would be cute to find out her teasing and bullying of him is her way of hiding her crush on the sweet little tomato head.

That's because it's a different singer altogether haha, I haven't quite read the lyrics yet but I'm assuming it goes from Marinette (Miku)'s to Luka/Adrien (Rin/Len)'s POV, hence the switch.

It’s the angel’s point of view the whole time, the angel was originally Rin (Luka), then she disguised herself as a man (adrien), switching the singer from female to male. Then at the end it switches back so that the girl can see that it was the angel all long right as she sacrificed herself. At least, that’s my interpretation. Hope this helps!
