I’d normally agree with what you say but personally I don’t think epic talents are overrated at all, in arena and league raid it’s still very good for everyone, especially low threat or non beta users who can’t oneshot everything
I am running arena with non epic talent teams and no problem (mostly using DMC and FB as artifacts), 90% of lost arena fights are lost because you are fighting something you should not be and bruh let's be real if you can't one shot something 580 more attack is not gonna make that much of a differrnce even in league raids
