Hello! so my question is that when i go to the save data cloud on my modded switch, it comes up with a error code any fix do you know by chance, thank you.
I’m assuming the error code is because there is a desynchronization between the save file on the console and the save file on the cloud. If my guess is correct, then all you have to do is either decide to download the save data from the cloud or upload the console’s save data to the cloud. That will clear the error if it’s what I’m thinking it is. To avoid the error, don’t open the game on either switch until it has completely finished downloading the save data from the cloud

It sounds like you don’t understand how getting banned works. Nintendo isn’t actively monitoring every single switch account making sure no one is modding. I will use smash bros as an example. The only time people get banned for using mods is when they try to use a mod online that player 2 doesn’t have and due to that mismatch in data player 2’s game will crash. That crash report gets sent to Nintendo and THAT’S how they find out you’re using mods and then player 1 gets banned. You will never get banned for modding a single player game that doesn’t even use online services
Just wondering what the limitations of modding totk on the switch are?? If its anything like modding it on an emulator, like is it possible to install content mods on switch??
From my experience, there aren’t any limitations other than caps on the maximum amount of items being 999 with the exception of Zonaite, poes, and the charge things. Installing content mods for totk would follow a different procedure than just modifying your save would. I could make a tutorial on installing content mods for this game
Very cool and detailed video but im to young and I have a problem so I can't get another switch because my brother wont let me use his so is there any way to just directly download mods onto the switch.
You don’t need two switches to do this. I had to use two switches because the console I wanted to play on was a patched switch, so I had to use my unpatched one to create modded save data for my patched one to download. If you intend to play on your unpatched switch, all you have to do is edit your save on the website I showed, and follow all of the steps up until you boot the game up to check the mods. After that point, you’re done

Yeah. You just won’t need to upload or download your save data to the cloud since you’ll be using the modded switch to play the game. I had to do it this way because the modded switch I had at the time of this recording had overheating issues. All you’d need to do is follow all of the steps in the video minus the part where you upload and download the save data to the cloud

Should work fine if you have switch online and you’re running it in sys
You don’t have to do the cloud part if you intend to play the game on the modded console

@@ronistudios9935 if you don’t have the usb file transfer plug in like I do then you’ll have to manually do it from your sd card
