Honestly, when Brooklyn & Gabby are together they are like a "Me & Mini Me" Gabby is like a mother hen with her & shows her the proper way about the horses. Love that! & how they all interact together. Laura, you have some great kids & grandkids. Thank you for giving them all such special memories to cherish. Kudos to Sam, too!
Okay so this is what I think inside my head: Chino - the horse who everyone loves and he goes to every trail ride. Storm and Finn - like brothers who live their life in the field. Sometimes they have fights. Graicy and Willow - they are fun ponies who children ride and they are just the cutest. Also I love you guys soooo much I don't know what would I do without you. You make my day!

It’s where someone becomes obsessed with a thought or situation and then has to carry out certain behaviours caused by the compulsions. It’s often stereotyped in expressions like “oh that’s ocd” when something isn’t correct or how it’s expected to be I have no idea if that makes any sense at all 😂. Love watching your family with the horses. It’s so heartwarming
Horses can have ocd and other compulsive behaviors! It’s sad but really cool to see how other animals deal with the same situations that we humans have! 💕
Brooklyn and Jacob are just the cutest and I think Brooklyn is a natural rider and if she keeps up the riding I think she has an amazing chance of winning champion at every show she goes too

Annie Mack yeh I agree with that, as gabby is nice enough to share storm but not every horse is like storm. If they leased a horse with a bigger personality but was “bomb proof” I think Sophie would soar!
Brooklyn's getting to be so well spoken! Also had my first actual spook with my lease horse last week on a trail. One of the other horses climbed an embankment and scared him... right at the same moment a bug tried to fly into my eye! So we spooked blind and one-handed. I slowed him down and sat back up straight all before I was able to open my eye back up. Thankfully he forgets spooks quickly and calmed down right away so it was only a few sudden steps!

I've been working at a horse rescue and today I had to help the vet sedate the horses and hold their mouths open while she did dental on seven of our horses. Seven! It was so mentally and physically draining - it blows my mind how amazing these vets are! The worst part of the whole day was having to help flush one of the pony's eyes out by putting a needle into her tear duct. Blerghhhh! Horses really are so injury-prone its crazy.
oh to have a family who loved horses and would teach me to ride MY DAD SAID I MIGHT GET A BORDER COLLIE FOR CHRISTMAS i’ve been wanting one for years and ever since gabby got molly he’s not heard the end of it but i’m going to train our dogs to perfection before we get another i’ve also been researching a ton about when the should be spayed what grooming schedule they should be on how much exercise they need and all that kinda stuff *I LOVE YOU ALL* ❤️❤️

I see a lot of green stuff in their water bucket and I would suggest cleaning it out regularly because the green stuff like algae and ect can cause them to get sick later on if that stuff isn’t removed but Anyways I love you guys and have a good day.

By the sounds of it Brooklyn did amazing!I had a spook and my horse almost hit a fence with all the brushed and stuff in my barn but I pulled him back and manged to stay on. ..I was supposed to see my horse today but the bet cancelled so I went to my friends house and now my anxiety acting up!!!!I get to see my horse next Monday and I'm going to look at a new puppy later next week...Molly looks like shes gonna use the tack as bedding lol!!
Make sure Brooklyn is super careful when applying the hoof polish because she was in the strike zone Even if the pony doesn't spook a lot, you can't always trust that they won't do it Other than that cool video

You and sam should take both of your vehicles then get as many bags of shavings as possible and stack them where the hay used to be. It is a lot easier just knowing you have have shavings for 2 weeks or a month. Just a suggestion

Those fly masks with the thick mesh can get clogged up with the dirt, just have to keep it washed or brushed off and he should be ok, but some horses just don’t like them and will rub them off, which is really frustrating, maybe try some fly spray on their faces, put on your hands or a sponge and wipe on face and ears 😊👍 Just a thought, but I’d make it another responsibility of the girls to check the water in the fields every morning, they’ll drink more in the heat and if they’ve been on the grass too ( I’m sure it’s normally checked though) and if not much water in it, they’ll push it over more easily 😊 More fun with your grandkids and that’s the great thing when they’re young, sometimes they have no fear, although of course that can have its downsides too 🤣

I got a super expensive fly mask for my boy and he tolerates it but I can tell he can't see very well because he bumps into stuff. A super cheap one I got is perfect and he loves it, he never looses them in the paddock. He hates nose flaps and he wouldn't like the ear covers either so just a basic fly mask with black mesh but too to thick and he is good as gold
Have you tried chino in a bitless bridle just for a fun ride? Just wondering! When ever I just have a fun ride either with friends or family I always ride bitless! I bet chino would be great with it! So excited to see gabby’s lesson video!
