This work is a submission for the 2023 Honkai: Star Rail creator competition.
HEY GUYS ! New cover of WILDFIRE from Honkai Star Rail ! Gotta say that I'm completely in love with this game and am playing since launch so yeaaah, quite a big fan here haha. I knew I was gonna cover this song the second it played ingame : the feels, the story, the tension, litteral chills at this moment, so I tried to transcribe all those emotions into this cover, and turned it into something quite different from the original Wildfire (which is an absolute banger), while still keeping the very core of the song.
Big props to ‪@Renaaa‬ who sang it perfectly, I knew she would perfectly fit what I tried to achieve with this rearrangement and the vision I had, and she nailed it, as always. Also, big thanks to everyone who recorded for the final chorus part, it really adds up a lot to the intensity of the song, and they were able to record in such a short deadline, so yeah I'm really gratefull for that !
I really hope you will enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed working on this project !
