Spotting at Phoenix Sky Harbor Video # 5 Part 2

This is the second collection of videos I recorded at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Christmas Eve 2010. Today was a good day to catch aircraft with special liveries.

I really enjoy video very much. I never forgot Southwest pain in old livery of gold and new livery of blue it seem nice.. I love it to get chance to view that video.. ;-)

southwest's new mexico one looks gr8

@airminnesota All America West aircraft were repainted 3-1/2 years ago. At the time of the merger, it was decided that US would commemorate the legacies of both US and AW by introducing several 'retro' jets. US painted three of their A319s' in the colors of Pacific Southwest (PSA), Allegheny and Piedmont Airlines while AW painted two of their A319s' in the two liveries AW flew with. The aircraft you saw at 1:17 is the second AW retro A319.

@Culpano The east-coast US retro A319s' are hit-and-miss here in PHX. Those particular aircraft usually fly all over the east-coast and rarely make it out this far west.

@Culpano The Hawaiian flight usually departs PHX around 8:30am local time.

I see an America West jet at 1:17. I thought US Airways repainted all of the America West planes.
